They were quick but the employee that worked on my vehicle lied to me. I asked if my tires were good he said yes but their not. I had a blow out as soon as I left the shop. Tread peeled away.

This is a extremely horrible business. Very verbally and mentally abusive towards customers. I would never recommend this business to anyone. Threatening to add more charges to my tow bill because I fuse to keep quiet and not voice my opinion. The funny thing is someone else was driving my vehicle when it was toed. All the employees are rude. The owner tried his best to attempt to try and make me feel like a ignorant black individual which will never happen. Expecting me to just listen to what he had to say and I was not suppose to speak or say anything as if I have no rights as an individual. Nope he ran up on the wrong person for that. It's truly unfortunate that some of these backwoods hick towns are still stuck in the past. This business is so narrow minded that they don't realize that being nice to people and treat people with respect and that way this town would have a great deal of more respect for this company. I'm use to racism because to me, it is truly funny and sad at the same time to see how truly ignorant that some humans really are in this day and age. Maybe one day this company will wake up and join humanity and let racism die. It's much better for one's overall health to love and be kind to each other no matter what.

Don't go here. Tried to ask a simple question, and all that the three people in there kept telling me to do was sign the ticket. Then I (new to this situation) asked what my options were again told to sign the paper. When asking the question again, an old man told me to either sign the paper or don't we don't care. Then I asked the same question again in a different way and was yelled at. Definitely don't send your car there if it's in a wreck. And with that, I watched some of his people working on cars... whew. Don't just take my word for it. I'm some prior enlisted idiot that doesn't know anything, but if I were you, I'd take it somewhere... more helpful and courteous.

Went there once got a tire cause I blew one was a decent tire but wrong size and didn't tell me until job was done and that was ok but then gave them a second chance went for a decent priced oil change end of October it now Dec 15 my mechanic fixed my timing chain and tells me I got used oil put in my car that's insane I know cheap price is cheap work but that's crazy never will I return and no filter change which is mandatory per oil change

They overcharge people who bring in their own parts I was charged $200 even though I brought my own parts and they should have only charged me $100 for labor no more than that but they did

Rude owner. I think theyre just really busy. Theyre not really helpful. They kept saying go tell jon or go tell the owner about your problem... ive never been there before i dont know who those people are. Like i said they were kinda rude but everyone is clearly too busy to talk to anybody about anything here

Called to ask a few questions about a replacement part I had available for my vehicle, and ascertain if Shrout's would be interested in purchasing the part. Mr. Shrout himself answered the phone and was very helpful and honest with the information given. Despite not hearing what I expected about the part, Mr. Shrout was even nice enough to suggest another local business that would be more accommodating to the expected value of the part. Great help!

This is, hands down, the most honest mechanic I have ever had service my vehicles. No BS; no trying to sell me things I don't need -- and if it doesn't need fixed, they don't try to charge me to fix it. 10/10 would be an ideal place to break into vehicles on the lot. Security system consists of a couple poorly mounted cameras and an owner who lives across the road and watches from his porch. You could easily walk on and take what suits you as they aren't bothered to lock vehicles in their unfenced lot. Frankly, the business deserves it because the owner is a rude, highly emotional and unprofessional man and it could be chalked up to bad karma.

The owner John of this establishment went above and beyond to take care of our vehicle!! He made sure we not only had the tires put on, but that they were safely installed! This is so important when driving along with going on six kids and he knew this! Even though this business is almost an hour away, we will be back!Service: TiresService: Tires

My first encounter was 5 star. I have left the review below because it was appropriate and accurate. My second encounter was the complete opposite. I as a customer have never been treated as poorly as I was treated by the owner. I won't go into detail. Let me just say it was shocking. All employees were great. Service received was top notch. But the treatment during interaction with the owner was enough to lose my future business and amend my previous 5-star rating. The worst I have been treated ever.Original review...Took vehicle for exhaust repair. On time polite employee took my key and my request of what to repair. Price was never discussed. Called to inform them wife would be picking it up. Was told approx time of completion, and cost of repair while on phone. Received a quality repair, in a timely manner, at a fair price, by polite employees. I have been without a repair shop that I've had a positive experience with in quite some time that I would refer others to. (I do most of my own work) I realize one visit is a little premature to make an accurate assessment of a business. But so far, best repair shop I know of.

The owner, John, was so....... Rude!!!! I was located an HR away. I had to go get a transmission in a car that needed brakes, (he even mentioned that when I was there the 1st time) I had to go back a second time because he tried to sell me the wrong transmission and..... Without a warranty!!! Thank...... GOODNESS..... I had someone with me that was good with cars because he was basically arguing with the guy until he finally , irritatedly, checked the pin line up and he was wrong, but before he said argumentatively that All data don't lie.. So... Yeah.. Among other things I just don't want to write a book.. Bottom line... I'd stay far away.. He doesn't deserve your business..

Been dealing with Johnny a good while.hes fair I've always gotten in and out quickly. Prices I believe is best in town. I like they charge by job bc a few times I went in to have real simple stuff done he has either done for free or very cheap not a set 60 /half hour work etc. And this is why I continue to go to SHROUTS.

Will never use them again! They were recommended to me when my car needed towed. They never took my number to contact me when my car was done so had to keep calling to ask. When on the phone they were rude. Went to pick it up and again rude, kept calling me girl instead of my name, didn't tell me where my car was on their lot, had to stand around once i found it in their shop til someone noticed me becauae they had my car blocked in and the lady at the desk did nothing to help me, then get home and realize money was stolen out of it as well.

Best mechanics in town! Showed up with car acting weird and they had me back on the road in 2 hours. Saved my plans for our anniversary! And absolutely most fair priced shop in town!

Shrouts has always been a grade A tire shop for me which they are way much more than a tire shop. Their used tires are exceptional and only $10. They do just about all car repairs and have been locally owned for more than 10 years. The owner mistress trout is a man's man, a working man, and a hell of a mechanic. I suggest the next time you need your car worked on call them and you will not be let down by quality or price!

These guys went over and beyond when we were traveling from out of State and broke down. Stranded in an area where we had no idea where we were. Not only did John come and pick up our vehicle right away and had it it repaired In a short time...the cost was amazing..I think I asked him 3 times if that was correct. Thank you, John!!

Called with a flat tire, got quick friendly and helpful over the phone advice and all questions answered. Showed up and my van was instantly started on and was back in the road within 30mins. ( Only because of course my van had odd size tires) Highly recommend taking your vehicle(s) here!

Good work, very quick service for a little bit of money. Costumers should be willing to give tip. The Labor minimum rate for oil change.
