We contacted Ross with issues on our new truck. He quickly diagnosed the situation and got our truck in shop. Fast turn around time and very satisfied with his work! Was very informative with what needed done and we are very pleased with the work done! If you need any kind of transmission work done this is the man to take care of you!

I took a 904 transmission out of my 1973 Dodge Dart there to get rebuilt. Awesome work, it's holding up great to the torture I put it through. Ross does outstanding work and I would trust any transmission built by him.

Ross at double r transmissions was very helpful and knowledgeable, he made suggestions and cost effective solutions to what I needed 5 out of 5 stars for ross at double r, his workmanship, price, reliability, and he was always available for questions I had or returned my calls in a timely manner. I've had 2 transmissions built by him a 4l60 and 4l80 and I'll continue to be a repeat customer.

I have a 01 silverado that had transmission issues. There were a couple of others that could not figure out why it wouldn't shift. Throwing parts at it. Ross took the time to actually find out the issue. Took it out of the truck and tore it down and inspected it. The issue was not any one single part .. it was a worn out housing. Not to many would figure this out without having a big diagnostic bill with it ! He is fair , good at what he does , and will work with you. Highly recommend this shop !

Ross and his team do fantastic work! Had a 6L that I was pretty sure I was losing the converter on and Ross worked with me for a week or more on what I was seeing and some things to try before I committed to brining it in. Says a lot he s willing to help before it means he gets your business. I was coming from quite a ways away and he was very flexible on drop off and pick up, answered every question I had, and communicated how to maintain to make sure they live. Ross embodied perfect customer service at every level of our interactions and was great to just chat about cars with as well. My truck drives as good as new and couldn t recommend you bringing your vehicle here more!

Ross and his team go above and beyond to make sure you get exactly what is best for your vehicle. He did a built FE C6 for me and it's perfect. Exactly what I needed. Honest good ol boy business here.Update - Just got my 4l60e built for my silverado by Ross and he did it again. Exactly what I asked for.

10/10 My truck drives like brand new again. My 2016 Silverado had some issues and had almost completely gone out. Double R was able to have it back to me in two weeks time of my dropping it off. The warranty is un-beatable within a few hours radius, and the parts are phenomenal. Good owner, Good service, Good Business. Ross Ritenhouse makes transmissions that last. I'm sad that he was the 3rd person to repair my truck instead of the 1st. He does rebuilds like factory new. Even better if ya get the heavy duty parts.
