Great place. I have had my exhaust done 2 times by Madison Auto. Once in 05 and again last week. Both times I also needed some other work done. Not only did they do an awesome job, the price was far below what I was expecting. The people are always very friendly and helpful. It's like going to a family shop. Thank you for another great job.

Picked up a clean S197 Mustang GT that needed a clutch. Picked the clutch I wanted online and called shops around town for installation quotes. Madison Auto Service was the ONLY place in Madison that didn't try to take advantage of me and quoted me a fair price consistent with going book labor. Every other service center in town quoted me more than double the price for labor. Some even outright refused to install the clutch kit I bought from a reputable Mustang performance site and not from their own parts suppliers with ridiculous markups. I was quoted anywhere from $1400-2970 everywhere else, but Madison Auto got me out the door parts and all for less than $800. Madison Auto absolutely takes the crown for fair labor rates in the area.The reception/service writers were super friendly on the phone and treated my problem like it was their own. They got me in within a week which is nearly impossible these days for a medium sized job like this. They even ran up and opened the door for me when I pulled up, which made me feel like royalty!In two short days, I'm back to burning rubber and my shifts are buttery smooth. The clutch was properly bled and has good pressure, which certainly took some time to get the air out of after install. It looks like my car was treated well and taken on enough of a test drive to seat the clutch in like a good tech should. Everything seems like it was done to the letter straight from the service manual. Even though I openly stated that there could be potential flywheel or slave cylinder damage and I wouldn't be upset if they had to replace them too, they said they were fine and didn't replace parts they didn't need to just to make more money.Overall, I can't say enough good things about Madison Auto. They're honestly one of the few straight-shooting service centers left around that prioritize customer service and doing the job right over maximizing profits. They honestly operate with so much skill and integrity it was like walking into a service center 25 years ago back when I was a kid. I'll definitely be taking my little 5 car family fleet to Madison Auto for anything I don't feel like doing in the driveway from here on out

Stopped in to see how busy they where and they where booked out a week. I explained I was just passing through and was 1200 miles from home and needed a noisy idler pulley changed. He said he would slide me in . We went next door to eat breakfast and by the time we returned it was ready to go . Hats off to this shop as we still had 2500 miles left to travel. Thanks again

Madison Auto Service is fantastic. No guessing and no surprise charges. We ve taken our vehicles there any time they ve needed a repair, big or small, since 2018. They re always honest in their diagnosis and the work is quality. I won t take my vehicles anywhere else.

Madison auto is fantastic. My wife and I have had our 2017 Subaru Forester and 2011 Volvo XC90 serviced there multiple times and we won't go anywhere else.When you want timely, quality driven service at a fair price, Madison auto is the spot to go.Thanks againSarah and Paul

Always helpful, sincere, and honest. They do excellent work at a fair price. In the past there have been instances where I thought I would need a complete break job as recommended by an auto repair up the street only to find it was a broken spring...no charge!

Dropped off my truck Sunday night and they had me back on the road with a new drive shaft and rear shackles on Wednesday. Fast service and price was fair for the work done.

If I could give zero stars I would. Today my daughter and i and 4 grandkids ages 2,4,8, and 9 were by this place and we came out to get in the car to find the car wouldn't start. I walked over to this place an asked for a jump. They did an it still wasn't turning over so he went to get another guy. After hearing my car he said I needed a starter. I say do you have it an can you do it ? He says he had to check an they could do it there. Well now we go in there an my daughter says if we can find a place who has it in store since they did not would they repair it an how much? They said it be 90$ for them to do it and my daughter said could you do it if she came back with the part? He said we close at 5pm if you can make it back before he would. So my daughter runs literally from there to auto store but first financial bank and they had 1 left so she got it and ran back. She got back there before 5pm it was 440 and they ignored us in the lobby an then finally sent an older man in and he says they cant help us cuz they close in a few minutes. My daughter says well the man said you guys can if I made it back before 5 and the guy said no basically said she was lying or so that's how we took it. So basically I can't support a company who cant help a stranded family in a time of need , they were gonna be paid before they did it an couldn't help we were stranded no phone it died an it was 90 degrees... !!! But thankfully two gentlemen came to our rescue an helped our family and put the starter on and we tried to pay them they refused to take payment I disnt get the one gentleman's name but the other guys name was Matt and I was told he frequents speedway on clifty by rally's . I want to give q shout out to those men because there are not many people in this world left to do a good deed like that ! They saved us and will be forever grateful to them and to the gentlemen that came at the end an was able to give us a jump as well. I'm all for supporting local business but not ones like this !

It's a great place to go to if you need anything done on your vehicle of choice. They really helped me out. The people there are so helpful and explained everything to me when I didn't understand.

I bought a vehicle that Madison auto service serviced they picked it up at the former owners house and drove it to the shop first of all I have to replace a hose that they just taped instead of replacing it had just had a tune up this summer they did not change the plugs in the back because they were too hard to get to( thank god for good friends) and they also used two different kind of plugs and to top it off I have to spend 400.00 to replace a wheel bearing that they should have caught because it had been going bad for awhile

Save your money, take your vehicle somewhere else unless you are just getting something basic like an oil change! Over priced work and still couldn't get the job done
