I needed new wipers in the middle of rain shower. They offered to put them on right then without me even asking. Gave me the new customer discount for creating account with the App. even though email hadn't game through yet. Plus, I told me when it did I could use the discount code again!

Good people, not to educated on maintenance issues. Very top-heavy in management. Very clean and well stocked.

Understaffed, the item I needed showed in stock and had 4 of them. So I drove 30 min to get it, and they didn't have the item. It was still on the truck, and I didn't want to sit and wait all day to get it as they had no idea when they could get to it bc they are understaffed, sounds like these places need to bight the bullet and take a little less money in there pockets and pay there employees just a little bit more money. Especially if they are a great employee, pay that person to keep them. Just my opinion

Warning!! Do not shop at zone in Madison This location has turned into one of the worst parts stores around. Every time I need parts for one of the 5 vehicles I work on. They never have the parts needed, given the wrong parts on several occasions and 90% of the time they are not in stock. There is a young childish manager named Sadies, which is extremely rude to customers and doesn't really know her job either other than being a complete B!+@#. They have hired a new kid or 2 and one is 16 he has no clue what he's doing and when I advised the so called manager she came up with several excuses that he's just new. I have wasted several trips to the Madison location and thankfully I will no longer recommend this store to anyone. I have a large network of people I associate with that have also agreed to no longer purchase from this location. Personally district needs to come in and clean house. Between wrong parts, wrong prices, failed warranties, and little kids running around not knowing what car parts are. And management that is extremely rude to customers. I have left a message with the district office and will proceed further up the corporate ladder as needed. Do yourself a favor and go to another parts store. It didn't used to be this way either. They used to be very helpful and good a couple years ago.

Sold the wrong brake pads which is fine it happens, but the crew on 9/19/2023 at 7:50 pmwas so unfriendly I won't return. Madison Indiana has to many part stores for employees to act that way.

Staff was helpful in finding products and very freely sharing of opinions, even if those opinions were severely homophobic and unrelated to the casual retail exchange we were there for.

It's sad when employees are completely incompetent to get an order right and then when they give you the wrong part are incompetent to do an exchange for the correct part, and lie about it. I have been a service writer for over 10years and have literally bought a million dollars worth of goods from AutoZone amongst others and the quality of parts personal has declined terribly, there should be some kinda quiz for new staff in regards to auto parts.

Needed supplies to change my oil. As usual the staff was on top of it. Even told me what oil filter I would need even though I already knew. Good looking out for their customers.

Went in to get my battery tested, waited 4-5 minutes for the guy to stop and ask what I needed and he threw a fit beating on the counter yelling I can t do it right now. You re just going to have to wait . I wouldn t have minded waiting, but not with that attitude. Didn t have a name plate or would have contacted directly.

The angel that helped me was awesome! I call her an angel cause she knew I was having a hard time financially & used a coupon to make it cheaper. I had to buy a new battery right then or I wouldn't have a vehicle. They are so helpful!

This is where we went after we've gone to O'Reilly's and realized that that's a great place to go and hang out unless of course you want to talk about cars or anything. Cuz nobody there knows anything about cars or if they do they're not sharing it. But here the salesperson was nice he was knowledgeable she was knowledgeable everybody there was knowledgeable they wanted to talk about cars and on top of that I bought some windshield wiper blades of which they changed the design every single month and these people were kind enough to come out there take them out of my hands put them on correctly for me and tell me don't worry about it they change the design plan every chance. They get even made me feel good in front of my wife. Lol. And the prices were pretty reasonable too.

I saw a rat in there. And that wasn't even the worst part of my experience. They are rude, uncaring and belligerent people. I saw the manager tell an Army vet that he wasn't special, just because he was in the service, and didn't deserve a discount. It was mind blowing.

I bought a bulb for my cars rear directional signal and the worker that waited on me offered to install it. I was thrilled and so thankful...and it was about 36 outside. It took him about 7 minutes...I will definitely go here for most of my automotive needs!

Blythe and Billy gave stellar customer service on my recent battery purchase. They are both knowledgeable and answered all my questions with ease. And they were fun to do business with. Thank You!

Took a neighbor here to pick up parts. I waited 20 minutes even though the parts were available. She waited on an employee to get back from dinner break while the employee in the store took care of a customer who came in after her...because he didn't know the details of her conversation with the employee retrieving his dinner. Sounds like lazy to me?

The. guys helped me so much. Not that they went above the call but put a battery in my 16 Colorado. For liability reasons I had to do a little bit of turning wrenches myself.Between all 3 of us I now should not be stranded 1 more time because of a dead battery.

I like the Aurora store better. This store has a younger skinny guy that didn't smile, wasn't or seemed like I was a bother. Didn't seem to know what he's doing. I really felt uncomfortable. Not sure about the other employees!

Store seemed understaffed. Only had 2 people working when I was there. One person answering questions and looking up parts on the phone & the other helping the customers in the store. Stood in line 20min, if I hadnt absolutely needed the part I would've walked out

I called about a radiator for my car and they said they had one in stock. Before I made a 30+minute drive to get it, I asked if they could simply pull it out and measure the hose barbs on the radiator to make sure it would fit the hoses (the last one I ordered did not). The guy on the phone refused and kept telling me it would fit.P.S. It doesnt fit.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!I went in today to order 6 NGK spark plugs (lztr5a-13) for my 2007 Jeep Wrangler. I was told they were $13.99 EACH! I told them that had to be an error as they were $2.99 at Advance Auto Parts. I showed them online and they refused to price match stating the price difference was due to a different warranty! What kind of warranty justifies a 400% mark up? I told them I would just go 1/4 mile down the street and buy them from Advance. They were perfectly fine with that and lost a customer for life over a set of spark plugs! Step up your game AutoZone; customer satisfaction should be your #1 priority!UPDATE: The boilerplate response which in no way addressed anything that I said further emphasize my point.. AutoZone has lost sight of its mission put customer satisfaction first.

I love Auto Zone, the manager gave me a refund on a new product that was horrible on my car. She understood why I wanted a refund! I did have my receipt for the product and I purchased the product that morning

They've always been more expensive than online retailers, but have had decent customer service. I'm starting to rethink the second part of that statement, however, as I've called there twice in the past week and have been lied to. The first time they told me that there was no Subaru Impreza unless it was a WRX or an STI. The second time, they told me that they would recycle my used coolant, only for me to go down there and have them tell me that they wouldn't take coolant. Traditionally I've had no problem with Madison AutoZone, but I feel they could be more selective in who they hire lately...

If you have a negative IQ score then I have good news! You can get a job here. A negative attitude towards customers is a requirement. Basic reading and writing skills are not required. If you never aspire to leave Madison, IN and all you can do is drool on yourself, then autozone is for you. Minimum wage at it's finest. Good job guys, keep up the shitty work.
