This location is now owned and operated by Valvolne Quick Lube. The word quick in their name is a misnomer. With one in the bay and another ahead of us it took close to an hour for us to get in the bay. I could have bought the oil & filter, went home and completed the oil change in less time. It does appear that they have a whole process, 3 or 4 standing around talking while another 3 or 4 check tires, lights, wiper blades and actually change oil. Overall, while the service was anything but quick, the individuals that we interacted with were kind and did a good job. As a bonus, there is an online coupon that they can scan from your phone to save $7 (conventional oil) or $10 (synthetic oil).

I went in for an oil change last week because my Jeep hasn t been serviced in over a year (he sits during the winter). The tech checked my oil and showed me that it was still full and had good color and told me to come back once I hit my miles. Their customer service has always been awesome but this experience was hands down the best. Thank you for always being so great!Service: Oil change

Way overpriced and service is slow for a quick lube place. Not worth $97. The dealership is cheaper and service is better. I will not be going back.

I like Oil Exchange because it's so convenient. If I have a few extra minutes, I can take care of a very important item on my errand list! As a woman with no mechanical experience, I have never felt taken advantage of by the guys who work on my truck. So, I feel like I can trust the advice I get there. To me, that is a GIANT plus!

Oil exchange screwed up and now we are hit with a $286 service fee because of it! We had our Traverse in for an oil change a few months back. The Technician who changed our oil pulled the air intake hose out when checking the air filter. We drove with it like this approximately 2000 miles. I took the car to the dealership as soon as the check engine light came on. This is the point where they discovered the error. We had to pay close to $300 to have the engine cleaned out because unfiltered air was going in the engine and bypassing the filter. Instead of taking responsibility, Oil Exchange had a lawyer contacting us to inform us they were not going to cover our expenses. Oil exchange said they were not responsible because it was over 30 days. Well, my check engine light didn't come on right away. I should not have to check that they did their job correctly. I should pay for a service and trust that the work was done properly. I mean, this is their specialty. They also said I should have brought the car to them and not the dealership. I unfortunately do not have psychic abilities and therefore did not know what was wrong. Considering that the car is still under warranty, I would take it to the dealership when the check engine light comes on. I don't know about you, but I'm pretty sure you take your car to a mechanic when there is an issue with the engine and not an oil place. Needless to say, I am extremely unhappy.

I've had an oil change here once so far. I've been in a few more times just to get my tires aired up. They were super nice about doing that for me!

Was a great Experience Brandon the shop manager was nice and courteous!!! I will recommend this shop to others!! Need more guys like him working there!! I don t mind the crown point shop when I m in that area Lowell is my go to!!Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

I've gone to Oil Exchange for the last 12 years. Their attention to detail gets the little things right. In addition to providing efficient oil changes, they notify you of things such as fluid leaks, air filter cleanliness, and ask about windshield wiper function (do the blades need changing). Changing wipers is a headache and I'm happy to have them changed. You could do all they do less expensively, but for the mechanically challenged, they're a lifesaver. It's important to use discretion when they try to "upsell" services you may not need and if you refuse, they don't pressure you. I highly recommend Oil Exchange.

Guy who helped me was rude. Normally when I come to places like this they get all the information themselves but I have handed a paper with some check marks and was told to fill it out. I asKed what oil I should get and in a rude tone was told just do whatever you normally do . I guess it s good I know my car and they type of oil I need. Would hate to be someone who doesn t know. Just all in all not a good experience and will not be returning.

Stopped in to get a oil change... I have a 1992 toyota pkp 4 cyl with only 45,000 miles...owners manual reccomends conventional 10-30.. And this is what I like to use along with 1qt Lukas oil... So they reccomend synthetic oil to me... I say no thanks... I want to use the conventional recommended oil in this 1992... Small 4 cyl only takes 4 qts I had 1 qt Lukas...so they needed only 3 qts to do the job... So then they go on to tell me they are out of conventional 10-30 in both bulk or qts so they would have to charge me!? An additional $5 bucks to have oil delivered to them!?.. I guess it was my fault they!? Ran out of oil... Any way i'm just saying... I like to use local small town buisness but not under these conditions.. I thanked them told them it was crazy and drove off...

Since being bought by valvoline, price for full synthetic is $101 now. $35 cheaper to just go to James in cedar lake now. Or cheaper to go to smith ford or chevy.

Got a full service oil change they suggested what I should replace and checked a lot more things then most places would tip these guys they deserve it

Called to ask about an oil change on my truck, person on the other end kept insisting my truck took 8 quarts of oil only takes six would not go here
