I came to this shop the first time out of necessity, as my car had broken down next door. But I am so grateful that it did! I love this place! I will never go anywhere else. They are so sweet, and always treat me so well, and are super affordable. This morning, I had walked to get groceries when my car was ready to pick up, so I started walking over there afterward, and they surprised me by picking me up in my car! I just love these people.

Talked to them a month ago for an engine swap. Brought in vehicle and motor was delivered the same day. We got a really good quote on the engine install, and it works amazing. We would highly recommend the shop. Thank You! 09 Commander

Very helpful, honest, and reliable service. Took my car there to have problem diagnosed. They told me what was wrong, and although they didn't do that kind of repair, they recommended others to try and even gave me some advice if going to certain other places to make sure I wouldn't be overcharged. Also got me in first thing when needing a last minute tire repair to make it to an early appt out of town. Would highly recommend to anyone to go and see them.

These guys don t know how to weld a converter on. Recommend going elsewhere. Had my converter welded but they failed to weld top portion. Not certain they understand what an exhaust leak is.

I have taken my vehicles to Alexander's shop for almost 2 years now. They do the best work and care about their customers, they are truly amazing! Alex & his staff are very knowledgeable & friendly. Have never had a problem anytime service work done. If a problem arose from the work performed they have no problem fixing it. I showed up right before they closed and desperately needed a trailer tire. I was from out of town and they hooked me up and got me back on the road. Great service! Great price!

Garfias has serviced all my vehicles and is on my second generation of cars..I have used him for all automotive needs since 2003 when he had his small garage on Market Street. He is amazing and real honest. He won t ever overcharge and does good work. He s not out to get rich but he is out to earn your business. He is one of the first people I met moving to Logansport unfortunately because by 1992 Dakota truck. Now I consider him not only my mechanic but a good friend..He is a funny guy if you get know him. This place has been a nightmare car wasn t diagnosed properly and they said we changed a value cover the smoke is normal drive it broke down over heated fluid spilling from places never had before they came said it s normal but we check it oh it s probably the temperature gauge so it s ok we change and drive it s safe they say mind you a 21 year old girl by herself they said just come ever Friday we check make sure not overheat??? But we don t know the problem just know said thought was oil leak car still over heats and now after 385 for a car having more issues wants 2300 for a used motor cuz they think head gasket blown and joe said they don t think can repair head gasket without ruining the bolts so we just change motor to be safe mind you all this wasn t happening when took car in and so ask to speak to Alex but noooo he avoids the conversation and had some other guy not joe joe was nice on phone this man rude sais we do what customers say is wrong I m so sorry you mean the mechanic trusts the non mechanic and don t use a computer or any device to properly check and give accurate diagnostic?? No only use computer if check engine light on which oh this cars engine light was but they missed that he said so now 2300 to fix someone else mistakes !!! And Alex will not return a call at all very unprofessional and sounds like they leave the hard part to customers to diagnose the issues I wouldn t trust this place with my bicycle tires . Horrible and not to mention told us to drive car then said our fault we drove it after paid 385 to be fixed he said wasn t the shop fault drove it and blew it up nope not at all right because I normally pay for unfinished jobs every where I go I don t know if they can only handle tire changes but I d double check everything this place does horrible placeService: Engine repair

Well my son and I went there to get our AC fixed for his vehicle. And ask them to put a belt on because that's all we thought was wrong with it. And they called and said it needed tension bar which all together would be $150. Well I thought since I took it to a garage that they could look at it and tell me what all was wrong with our AC instead they charged us $150 and the AC still does not work. So I tell them it's blowing out hot air oh well if you want us to fix it that's going to cost you another $300. OMG do not take your vehicle to these people they will take your money and keep charging you for different stuff if you want to go to a good garage go to Dunn right. I took my vehicle there and they tell you what's wrong with it before they keep charging you for everything. If you just want to blow money I guess go to the sky but he is absolutely terribleService: A/C installation & repair

Lifted my car for free to see what was wrong for a price quote Cass County tires tried charging me $30. Great job Garfias. Put that greedy place out of business. You guys need to get down town so you guys can blow up

Thought my battery was bad, took it in and they checked for me and replaced with a new battery for a fair price. I got in right away and didn't really have to wait too long. Very nice people. Will be going there for work on our van.

A few weeks ago I was changing the brakes on someone's car who didn't have money to pay a mechanic to do it. I was able and had to the time so I volunteered to do it for free. One of the lug nuts was corroded, so I took it to Garfias to get it out, I explained to Alex who I know personally from all the times I had to take my car there. He kindly removed the corroded lug nut free of charge, he said "let me contribute to this kind act" prices at this place are fair, Alex the owner is a man of integrity, kind and would never leave you stranded no matter what your circumstances are. I've been to quite a few shops before I found this one years ago, and I can tell you that after knowing this place, I'd never go anywhere else.

Tires without notice (in an emergency) a complete set of 4 brand new tires at an excellent price. I was barely there 25 mins and they had all 4 changed and balanced and we were back on the road.

Garfias stayed open chrismas eve to make sure in was able to get my tire and see my family 3 hours away christmas day. That is what I call service and appreciate them to fullest. Great service great ppl.

I m giving them one star for fixing the issue with my car I requested to have fixed.If you aren t a smoker, DON T take your car here, as the employees either smoke in your car or in the garage. My car now reeks of cigarette smoke.It s also especially dirty inside. A significant amount of dust, dirt, different colors and lengths of hair (some look to be from an animal) appeared in my car.They charged $150 more than what a dealership quoted for the same job.I trust local mechanics more than the dealerships in Logansport, but for a $150 difference in price, the cigarette smell, and the dirty condition of the car interior, I regret my decision.

although they couldnt change my motorcycle tire they were very friendly and helpful giving me information about where i could go.
