I broke down in Indiana on Monday August 14, 2023. My truck kept going in Limp Home Mode Maximum De-rate. I called this location and spoke to Ms. Carrie in the service department. I explained to her what issue I was having with my truck and she told me to bring it in to have it looked at. I got to there location aroud 03:15pm. Ms. Carrie customer service skills and her gratitude were exceptional. They took a look at my truck upon arrival. I showed my documents to Ms. Carrie and she sent me to Bobby the Mechanic. I went to the Mechanic Shop to see Bobby and he did a excellent job figuring out exactly what was causing the issue. All my truck needed was a software update. Mr. Bobby was honest and upfront with me. He needs to be the manager in the shop if he is not already. I appreciate you all for your service and I will recommend this shop to anyone who is in the area.

Professional quality work. Had my clutch replaced in a timely manner. A little short on staff, however they do put out excellent work. Reasonable pricing quote giving was just about right on. I would recommend this shop for your repairs they do their best to get it in and out with as little downtime as possible. Thanks Lloyd and crew.Service: Transmission

I went in with a check engine light on a T680. I called ahead. The technician met me in the parking lot, plugged in and diagnosed the problem within 5 minutes (IMAP sensor) Within 15 minutes I had paid the bill and was rolling. Charge $80.95. They claimed if the repair is that quick no one should charge labor. At most shops you ll sit their for hours or days only to be told they can t help you or it ll be a long time. Just to plug in a laptop they ll charge $200. How refreshing to pull in and someone says Let s see what s going on before we waste everyone s time.

I wish I could say ignore all the reviews complaining about lack of organization or lack of communication.... I really wish I could....but, I can't.EVERYTHING else about this place was awesome! The people were friendly and accommodating. The quality of the work was great! The driver's area was immaculate minus the missing SNACK MACHINE!IF they would call you back when they say they're going to..... IF they would ensure that parts are ordered(and will arrive) when that say they're going to.... This would be a 5 STAR rating! One thing tho..... They, without hesitation or complaint, adjusted my bill almost instantly! I asked the young lady at the Service counter if they could help me out....and they knocked over 2 hours of Labor off the bill! Took 10 seconds!I wish I could give KEVIN 5 Stars! Once the parts arrived it wasn't long til we were ready for a road test! Every Tech I talked to knew the answers to my questions. And they told me WHY they needed to fix/replace every part to get my final diagnosis.I can't say I wouldn't go back. I would just be more PROACTIVE with my communication (POLITELY).Guys....... fix the couple of issues....you'll need a bigger shop! Oh....and don't forget the snack machine!

Shop has a well- balanced staff. This particular shop has been my home away from home for 24 hours. Got towed in about 10p.m. and right away they were very friendly. The night guy at the shop desk offered to give me a ride to the hotel to save money on an uber and they also picked me up in the morning. The shop foreman was very serious and about business. Not as friendly but good at diagnosing the truck so that's what matters most! The mechanic who actually worked with my truck was excellent! He was communicated with me during every step of the repairs and unlike a lot of other shops they showed me defective parts and explained the defects to me. They were very helpful with warranty and flexible. I would recommend this place. They were pricey on labor though jeezy a warning about $150, but is worth the price to be back on the road.

Friendly enough staff here and have usually had good repairs done on my semi. They do get busy at times, but even then it isn't an unreasonable delay to get back on the road. Prices are average for the area as well, so you can feel confident in getting your truck serviced without feeling the need to shop around. Whiteford isn't a fancy shop with white floors and a huge drivers lounge, but they'll get your repair done.

Use to be a nice shop. Now they're slow as hell, can't fix anything right. Half the time have to bring it back broken still. Unless you want your truck to be in the shop 2 weeks minimum, and lose a butt load of money, go there. They lost my business. Don't reccomend them at all.

Don't bring your truck here for repairs. My truck sat for 1 week. Needing something simple done. DIAGNOSTIC test...Service manager lied 4 times saying my truck was in the shop and that they were working on it.Staffing problems.... Waste of time and very dishonest.Had to take my truck to a different location.

Today is my 4th day in the shop. It was a tough diagnosis, but they have done everything in their power to get the job done as quickly as possible. Adam and the entire crew were very knowledgeable and kept me informed on every step. I would come back here again if needed.

I hardly ever post reviews but I feel like I have a responsibility to warn other RVers out there. Several employees at this location mentioned that they never work on RVs and my RV was only the second one that a couple of them had seen in the shop. We had a "check trans" light come on and Good Sam Roadside assistance said that Whiteford Kenworth which was 50 or so miles away from where we broke down was the nearest shop that could handle repairs to our Allison transmission. The moment I arrived at the repair shop, I informed the employee that I had an extended warranty which I had already contacted. I told them that the shop needed to contact the extended warranty company as soon as the problem was diagnosed. I went in the next day, Friday, and was told that they needed me to remove the tow dolly and bike racks so that they could work on it. I went in again on Saturday and was told that nobody had diagnosed it yet but Adam went out and diagnosed it while I was there. He determined that it was probably the transmission control module but no one was there that could order a new one. I went in again on Sunday and Monday. On Monday the guy at the desk didn't seem to know anything so I filled him in and asked if he had contacted the extended warranty company. No one had so he called them and they told him that they would send out someone to verify what repairs needed to be made. That person was there the next day and verified the repairs. I was told that the new TCM would be ordered on Monday and I would be out of there by Wednesday morning at the latest. I checked in again on Tuesday and Wednesday and again it appeared that they did nothing until I arrived and asked for a progress report. On Thursday we went in again and learned that the TCM had never been ordered so we complained to the manager who acted like he didn't know why the TCM hadn't been ordered. He personally drove over an hour to Indianapolis to pick up a new TCM and get it programmed. They got the TCM back by about 6 PM and installed it and I was able to get out of there by 8 PM. The entire repair process was completed in about 4 hours but for some reason my family of 6 had to spend 7 nights in hotel rooms waiting for the work to be completed. If I wasn't ticked-off enough, when we arrived in Cincinnati I noticed that I had a flat tire because when they replaced the axle, they didn't tighten the inflation extension tube adequately and all the air pressure leaked out. Do yourself a favor and don't bring your RV there. They will send you to the back of the line because you are not the priority. I got pretty familiar with the town of Lafayette after spending 7 days there and the place to take your RV appears to be Quick Lane Tire & Auto Center.Update: Thanks you for the response. I appreciate the fact that you want your business to have a good reputation and I don t want to damage that. But you have to admit that your processes were lacking in my situation. I am not a trucker and I do not have the option of not having the repairs done. I had to get back on the road whether the warranty company paid or not. If your guys had done a quick 10 minute scan on Friday and contacted the warranty company that same day, I would have been on the road 3 days earlier. Nobody seemed concerned about tracking the progress of my RV and the only reason any work was accomplished is because I checked in several times a day. I probably would have given 3 stars if it weren t for the flat tire. Your quality assurance processes are lacking. I hope you didn t miss anything else.

Their shop rate is quite high, and they add a 3% surcharge on EVERYTHING, other than that they are knowledgeable and try to help.Edit: I've now had the "luxury" of doing about $16k worth of business with these guys (parts and PLENTY of labor) I retract most of what I said before. Most of the mechanics are awesome and friendly, others bold face lie to ya. Be sure to get ANY AND ALL quotes in writing first. As another gentleman said, once they got you in the shop, you're at their liberty to eventually get you fixed. Truck sat in their shop for 14hrs cuz no one wanted to clean up the mess that was made til the original guy that checked me in came back for his next shift the following day. And let's not get started on the transmission issue I had and the 3 trips back to make it all right (after I'd paid for everything, oh...and still has a leaking trans cooler line after the 3rd trip in to correct it)

Had a truck in the area that needed brakes repaired, and WhiteFord Kenworth would not fix what was wrong without changing a bunch of parts that were not bad. Had them send pictures and our local mechanic looked at the photos. Our mechanic then called them and told them why it didn't need the repairs that they told us it did. But they wouldn't budge, it was fix all or nothing and the truck couldn't leave without have the problem fixed. What should have been a minor quick fix ended up being a 2 day costly repair. Had to wait on parts that weren't even bad. I will never send one of my trucks there again. SORRY I HAD TO LEAVE THE BAD REVIEW, HOWEVER I GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE AND THIS IS WHAT THEY DID. I am adding a update after reading their reply to my post. Our mechanic had checked these brakes just the week before and stated that they were good to go for a while yet. THERE WERE A LOT OF PARTS CHANGED that were not needed to have this TRUCK LEGAL AND SAFE !!!

Had one of my drivers broken down on the side of the road, they did not have the part in stock, but found the part at a different dealer. They picked the part up and delivered it to my driver, we are very thankful for the awesome customer service.

Brought my trailer here for a wheelbearing issue on 10,11,18 here its 10,13 and there just getting done. This is a 24 hour shop. Once they got trailer apart they worked on everything else besides trailer. This place I wouldn't recommend to anyone. I am very disappointed in how a place like this can do business in such a manner. Warren A

Love these folks. They've been working on our trucks for many years now. If there's ever been any problem, they've always stood behind their work and made it right.
