This was my second time trying to get a nail out of a tire. The first time, it took an hour and a half before I was seen, and I ran out of time to get it fixed. I was disappointed, but I thought I should give them a second try. This time, it took almost 3 hours, and they never even got the car in the bay! Both times, they weren't honest/realistic about the amount of time it was going to take to get the job done. They don't seem to have respect for people's time, or they know how to schedule and communicate with customers. We will take our business elsewhere from now on.

When I got there they had to reschedule my 3 pm appointment. I went the following morning and it took all day to change oil and out 2 tires on.

I HATE taking my car into shops. But these people were very friendly and professional and thorough, letting me know that I had an worn control arm bushing, and following all my nit-picky requests about balancing and which tires I wanted to keep. The difficult one is me. These guys and gals did an excellent job!

My car hasn't been running right since I had to replace to parts around where the oil filter is. I got oil change sep 5 only had my car two months friend had it before me no problems. Broke down on September 6. I'm only the 3rd owner I have a Volkswagen and I'm sure they put wrong oil in my car.Dont recommend Walmart theres plenty other places. If u must go there please take your own oil.

Showed up at 5:40 and asked for an oil change. Abt an hour and a half before close and they said they can't because there is 1 singular car in front of me that needs an oil change, and a battery replacement. When I pulled in a lot of the technicians were standing outside doing nothing. LAZY

While the people working at the front are very nice, they didn t have the filter I needed and I had to drive to 3 autozones to get it instead of them offering to order it for me. After returning, they didn t give me a discount even though I had to go out and buy my own filter ($12) and spend hours/gas running around. I would just keep this in mind if they don t have a filter when you come in for a service. Do not get it done here.Service: Oil change

There are always workers standing around talking while there's a long line of people waiting. They need more supervision in the auto dept.

Got my oil changed there last year and it was timely and a great customer experience. Called a year later for 4 new tires and an oil change and I ended up having to hang up the phone the man on the phone was so rude and even complained about my son in the background who is TWO years old and was just babbling while he was coloring not screaming or anything. Almost spent 450 there but I ll make a point to never spend a dime at that Walmart again.Service: Oil change

The employees working back at the auto care center were nice and very helpful. The price is always competitive, and you get what you paid for. I have never had an issue at this location. I would rate five stars if the wait was a little shorter. Still, always plan a shopping trip to maximize your time!

I was having intermittent trouble starting my truck when I turned the key. I took it in to the Walmart Auto Center and they took a look at it right away. They tested the battery, alternator, and starter and showed me the results of the tests. I purchased a new battery and they installed it while I shopped in the Walmart store. I received a page to return to the auto center once it was done. It couldn't have been more convenient! Renee and Brannert (I'm not sure if that is the correct spelling) were so friendly and made be feel comfortable even though I know very little about cars. They also do oil changes there, and I will return for sure when the truck is due. What a nice service!Service: Battery

My wife had some shrapnel in her passenger rear tire on Friday. We've been so busy couldn't get to it. I tried one place, they said they couldn't do anything until Monday. Finally on Sunday I called Walmart. They said bring it in first come first serve. I quickly brought it over. They were very courteous in asking about the issue. I was told half an hour to an hour. We left, they texted to let me know it was ready a little over an hour later. Well done job!

These folks are absolutely fantastic. They did us such a good service with a strange noise in a tire just before closing. They were so nice and helpful I cannot recommend this autocenter enough!

Brought my car in for an oil change. Great service and got it done in 30 minutes. Unfortunately, I found out that they refilled the engine with the wrong oil grade. Luckily, I caught this soon after leaving and brought the car back. The manager took a look of the car and agreed to draining the wrong oil and refilling with the proper grade of oil.Service: Oil change

They told me it would take an hour and a half to patch two tires, I waited for over two hours and asked about the status. They said it should be in the garage now, and they had something more important come up so that's why it was taking longer. I ended up waiting for more than three hours for them to work on my car. I wish they would have told me when they found out it was going to take longer than an hour and a half, because then I would have left.Staff are nice, I just want better communication.

There was a lot of confusion between something's and being told to go to another location to have something done. To be honest, it's no ones fault in particular. Just a bunch of crossed wires and miscommunication. Overall, a positive experience with the issue getting taken care of in the end.

They are fast, inexpensive, and reliable. I've never had any problems here.Edit: I had them restore my headlights, and I'm absolutely delighted with what they did. My headlights look new, and I have probably 5 times more light. Have your headlights become dull and foggy? Go to Walmart auto care today!

Takes a really long time to get an oil change some days but other days, it's a reasonable amount of time. The new techs have been bad about resetting some of the measurements in the cars I've taken there (2 this month).

Got a flat tire and had $10 road hazard warranty and got a new tire. They found two razor blades at a strange angle in my tire and being a young woman in college, the mechanics explained they were concerned about it being purposely done. They made sure I lived in a safe place, asked if anyone was mad at me, asked me to park in a new spot at my apartment, and gave me tips on being extra safe and hoped it was I was just unlucky and ran over them randomly. They were so caring and nice about it and concerned for my safety, I really appreciated it!

Do a good job. Gone to them for years. Be prepared to drop your car off, which is a nuisance because it involves someone transporting you. They always tell you it will take an 1.5 to 2 hrs before your car is ready. Have to request them to vacuum the floors in the vehicle, which is supposed to be standard service, or it won't get done. Often don't have enough technicians working. That's why the wait is so long.

I go here to get my oil changed and tire's when needed. It's like every place else wants to charge you more for a unrealistic thing. Walmart will let you know up front what the price is and you can go with it or not.

Very courteous employees. Took the time to show me the puncture in my tire and explain thoroughly about the procedure for buying only a couple of tires. They were right on schedule.Also, as my tire was beyond flat one of the employees gave me his personal 4-way as mine was not in the car

Worst experience ever. Do not EVER come to this place. I had my car battery replaced here a month ago, and about two weeks later the car suddenly died, so I took it to the repair shop and they told me it s the alternator, I have to spent $800 to replace a new alternator. But the problem didn t disappear, it happened again two weeks later, and it turned out because when Walmart replaced my car battery, they forgot to tighten the charging cable connecting the battery, that s why the battery died. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, I regret coming to this place just because they are cheap!

It's great for the simple stuff. I come for oil changes, bulb replacement, etc. The wait time is a little much but if you plan it right you can come when it's not too bad. I would just plan a shopping trip if wanting to get any car work done. They are pretty cheap on almost everything and warranty all work

It is my third time trying to do something there. First and second time, they said it was too late to get a client. It was 6:10 and they close at 7pm. Now, they said it would take 3 hours only to check my tire. Unfortunately, they don't need clients. I won't come back.

Horrible!! The first 2 times I tried to take my car here for an oil change the wait time was ridiculous (2hrs and 3hrs). Last week I decided to give it another shot and the wait was an hr and a half so I decided to wait. I was there an hr and 45 mins before they decided to tell me my vehicle only takes synthetic oil which is bs! I have never had synthetic oil in my car. The lady asked if I had a sticker from the last place and I said yes, she went and checked, came back and told me my car didn't come in with a sticker, which wasn't true. She accused me of lying about the sticker. At this point I was heated and left. Poor customer service, they could've told me they can only put synthetic oil in before making me waste 2 hrs of my time and then to accuse a customer of lying about something so stupid. I will never go back to the auto service at the West Lafayette Walmart!!

The technicians are responsible and experienced. However, the Greeter has a very bad attitude. It was my first time to the Walmart auto care center and I have no idea what to do. So she appeared very impatient to me. She never explained to me what she was going to do with my car after she grabbed my key and what I should do next.

They tried to put my lug nuts back on with an impact gun and cross threaded one. They said sorry and said they would put on a new lug but it is not the same size shape or even color. Next time I will get tires from a place that knows you have to hand start a lug nut.

Clarence, Dennis and one other guy there were excellent. I brought in my spare car, which was really shabby, to have two tires replaced. I forgot that I had replaced the old lug-nuts with news ones that required a key! I was so afraid that I'd have to go home and come back but a third guy found the lug-nut key in my car within seconds! Dennis and Clarence were able to accommodate my car's "special needs." These were top-notch mechanics and really saved us in a tight situation. They even remembered to put the lug-nut key back in the car. So tomorrow, we'll will have a safe car for the re-certification training my girlfriend must attend!

First I have to state that I am a M3 owner, normally don't go to WAlmart for a oil change. But this Auto Care center is different. Service manager Jeremy and technician Matt are very kind and knowledgeable, they fixed my oil drain plug leaks which was my headache for the past year or so. Highly recommend this place is you need some work done on ur car!
