Tldr one of the most honest mechanics I have worked withGave me a free inspection for a P0700 error code on an 04 Saturn Ion (same as similar year model cobalts) and resolved the issue (code U2105 CAN comms issue) without charging me a dime beyond the beer I bought him for the work. Stand up guy who looks out for the people he employs and works for, and he will not overcharge or scam you. Very happy with this shop, will be coming back in the future

Talked with them on a Monday, met with them on a Tuesday for diagnosis on the issues I was having, left it with them that night and not even 36 hours later I got my truck back with a clean bill of health and an upgraded from factory transmission that shifts great and works flawlessly.

Taylor transmission diagnosed a transmission problem I was having, and I was able to use this proof to get the dealership to fix my transmission. But Dave's input was essential. He's very honest and trustworthy. Thanks!

Dave at Taylor Transmission was beyond helpful and professional. He had my Dodge truck towed to his shop when I called thinking my transmission was going out. After looking at it he determined it was low on transmission fluid and the bands needed adjusted. Even with the minor inexpensive repairs, he still didn t even charge me for the tow bill. I will definitely be taking any of my transmission needs back to Taylor Transmission. Thank you again Dave!

(Please read before taking your car here) I want to start off by saying you can click on my name and see this is the first bad review I have ever left. I am not the type to slander someone's small business, as I know how important reviews and reputation are. My problems started in August of 2022. He replaced a transmission. The first transmission lasted a couple months and went out again. I was thankful when Taylor Transmission honored their warranty and replaced it. I even left them a five star review at their old location. Unfortunately, literally 100 miles later the transmission went out again. He then replaced it again. This was in January of 2023. At the end of last month my transmission has went out for a fourth time. I have had multiple shops look at it to which they agree it is due to faulty work. I have tried to reconcile with this shop in a professional and calm manner, in to which they have not returned the favor. I would advise looking elsewhere for transmission work.EDIT: Replying back to the reply. I have paperwork from two shops I took it to to get this "misfire" fixed. Both told me there was no misfire. One of these shops was even a Chevrolet dealership. As far as him helping me out. He offered to take $500 dollars off a reman transmission, which I'm sure was at cost.

I was referred to Taylor Transmission for repairs on my Isuzu Hombre. They got me in right away and repaired the transmission quickly. They were professional and quick to respond to phone calls. They were reasonable on pricing. Skilled labor ain t cheap, and cheap labor ain t skilled. You get what you pay for and Taylor Transmission is the place to go if you need some transmission work done.
