If looking for timely service, this is no longer the place to go. Didn't realize that they were no longer a full service location. Took over an hour to get an oil change because they don't have oil filters in house & had to wait on one to be delivered. Only reason I stopped in was because I was close to it & needed service. Now wishing I would have not chosen convenience. It may not be as bad if you schedule service, but do not go here for service without an appointment.Wow, $100 oil change, 1.5 hrs & didn't even fill wiper fluid.

Horrible experience. Had a tire leaking. Was stuck from out of town. Couldn't get to it until the next day, which was understandable enough due to the time I arrived. However after having to check into a hotel with my family and come back the next day, I was advised the tech wouldn't be in for another few hours after opening. Fine enough I guess. Then after my car was "fixed" I was advised it was just the valve stem. Strange to me, but they're professionals so whatever. Starts leaking almost immediately after I leave. Have to stop and get air every 20 minutes on my way back home a couple hours away. Took into my regular shop and immediately was told I needed a new tire and they couldn't believe someone let me drive away on that one. Horrible experience and putting people at risk with faulty service.

On Sunday, I tried to call and was unable to get through so I made an appointment for Monday at 9. Monday at 9, I was told that the person needed for my problem doesn't come in until 10 (even though I was able to schedule an appointment at 9 for that service online). The person helping me did apologize, but also made it seem like I should have somehow known this was the case. They helped me and rescheduled me for 10 on Tuesday, and when I came back Tuesday, it all went really well. It was frustrating to schedule my Monday around something that didn't happen and wasn't communicated to me beforehand, but the Tuesday experience was great, no complaints there.

Anthony was great, we got to our appointment about 15 minutes late. He said it was all good. Got our car in quick, helped us with the warranty for the tires and we were back on the road in 45 minutes. Very happy with our experience.

They did a great job! I needed new tired and wanted a specific brand. They got them shipped up from an Indy location in 24 hours. Also, Brian is super friendly!

I payed about 100 for an oil change, but week after getting it done it asked for an oil change again. I had it scheduled for 11am and my car wasn t ready until 5pm. First and last time doing business here. Go to take 5 they NEVER disappoint.

The gentleman that I spoke to at Pep Boys was really kind to me and was very helpful and friendly. I had issues with my truck as it wouldn't start and the mechanic there got it going for me and helped me out so I could get my truck back within two days as I understand it was an electronic issue and they had to replace my battery as well as my spark plug. But he was very friendly and cared about helping me. I would recommend the gentleman at Pep Boys to anyone. Thank You so much for your service and support.

Fixed my van after an over heat problem. Simple repair and ready the next day. Friendly staff that kept me informed. Reasonable diagnostic fee. Easy to have my van towed check-in was simple.

Employees of Pep Boys the real MVP this week.Yes, I needed 4 new tires. Did they help me understand why? Yes. Did they show proof of 3 needing replaced, do a great job, were efficient and show compassion? Absolutely.Now I've got my car back up and running. Thank you!

Appt for oil change and tire rotation was for 1 p.m. Arrived early, vehicle was not done when I checked back a little after 2 p.m. Did not get vehicle back until about 3:15 p.m. Nobody explained the delay and there was no apology for it.

The PepBoys was a store I have not been in awhile. Over the years I've been going to Advance/CarQuest, AutoZone, O'Reilly's, and Harbor Freight. It was to the point where I forgot what they even offered. I was pleasantly surprised to see the amount of inventory on hand from tires, tools, accessories and hard parts. They offered different levels of tools from gift items to professional brands. The planograms seems to have not been reset in nearly a decade. Which almost felt homey for me but may deter many newer customers from going there.A lot of items could be rotated, dusted, even clearanced out to give it a fresh brighter feel. A lot of the clamshell packaging was yellowed from age.Overall I experienced a good purchasing visit. Unfortunately I would not recommend the store to anyone accustomed to Target or Kohl's because this PepBoys it feels dirty.

Got a new tire and as I went 5miles down the road I lost air in the tire. I called and they told me to stop at another pep boys and they would fix it. When I did they said the valve stem wasn't in right. Then they never put my spare back under my truck. I will say Dan was easy to work with and was trying to get it done as quick as possible even though it took the techs 2 hours to put on a new tire.

Brian and Pat at the Lafayette Indiana location, and the entire crew at Pepboys have always taken care of us with my families safety in mind, They are professional and have excellent customer service. They also make sure the job is done right each time. Thank you so much for all that you do for this community! We appreciate you.Just a refresh edit. Brian especially, and everyone who I encounter at this particular shop gets it right. Customer service, not having things done that don t need done, explaining things with good manner so the customer understands at a more than fair and competitive price. I have shopped around for various automotive needs and not only is this location the best price, but best results I have yet to experience. I call 5 times in a row to amend what I need done, they adapt politely and get the job done right. How can you beat that?!Thanks everyone for going above and beyond!

Horrible Place. They advertised a "Free A/C System Check" which is not true. In the words of the attendant "The free check is nothing, it's just telling you it blows hot or it blows cold". They changed my schedule because their staff was leaving early, made me go across town to get there just to tell me that and try to charge me an outrageous amount for an actual A/C check. Place was torn down and unprofessional. DO NOT GO THERE

They have done excellent work in the past on several of our vehicles but we have been dealing with the same problem with our SUV since the spring and have had it worked on for the same problem twice in a two month period. We have spent around two thousand dollars and the vehicle runs worse than it did when we first brought it in. We can't even drive it without lights coming on on the dash and it begins shaking. The manager is very polite and the shop has done quality work in the past but we are beyond frustrated.

They were the only place that had my tire in stock with the best price. I was in and out. Customer area was disgusting and I had to go back because they forgot to install my locking nut for my spare tire.

Quoted $329 in labor to change brake pads only. This place has messed up several times for things on my vehicles in the past, but always made it right. Labor also used to be much lower, so I was getting okay work for a good price. I'm not going to pay dealership labor cost ($148/hour) for okay work.Soon it'll go the rest of the way out of business. $148/hour is honestly a joke for Pep Boys; I almost laughed when I heard it.

Took my car in for an alignment. They informed me my front struts were bad and needed to be replaced. Went ahead and aligned the toe and told me when I get the struts replaced, to come back and would realign free. Very satisfied.

I had a sudden and unexpected tire emergency when I ran over a piece of metal on my way out of the garage at home. I made it to Pep Boys just in time before it went flat. Despite having a booked afternoon of appointments and being shortstaffed, they were able to get us taken care of in a couple hours and even let us change the programming on the TV to help keep my toddler entertained. They had no obligation to finish so quickly, but I am so grateful they did and have always been pleased with the tire service I receive here. Thanks for another great experience on a very trying day!

Larry has a profound knowledge concerning 35 year old Toyotas of all models. He is the best. I will continue to go to Pep Boys and Larry in particular as long as my 3 Toyotas last!

Went here to get breaks done. They tried to charge me over a 1000 bucks for one an treated me like I knew nothing about my car. Yes im a girl but I work on my own. Please don't treat girls like there car stupid cause I'm not. An don't try to force someone into buying products from you that are not needed. I will never go to this place again an I will be telling everyone what happened.

~$110 just for diagnosing. First ask the cost and make clear everything before giving them your car to make sure prices are reasonable. Midas or other places I have been, diagnosing is free. That is an example of business.

Had a front end alignment done at a very reasonable price comparatively. The staff I interacted with were awesome people. I would give them five stars however the dude who parked my car in the parking lot for me had oil all over his hands and then it was all over the inside of my door and my steering wheel. They should really consider maybe wearing gloves or washing their hands before they get in to a customer's vehicle and smear it up with oil.

The service manager was friendly and knowledgeable. He explained the list of items that needs repaired and didn't force us to have them repaired there.
