I visited the Midas located at 804 Sagamore Pkwy N today. I was greeted by Mike Brown who took his time answering many questions that I had about the service options I needed. He was knowledgeable & helpful. I hadn t visited this location in over 15 years because I live out of state. I am so glad I stopped in, these guys are true professionals with a golden touch . If you are looking for fair pricing & a team that cares, check this place out.

I was able to schedule a same day oil change. It was done in a timely manner and reasonably priced! Customer service was top notch and friendly.

Just had a great experience and wanted to share.Around 2020 my opinion of this place wasn't all that great and I even started going elsewhere. There wasn't anything specific that made me stop going, just in general felt like it wasn't what it once was.But now 2024: staff was extremely courtesy and knowledgeable. Did a thorough inspection and were able to identify and inform me of an issue I should get looked at especially because the vehicle is still under warranty. They weren't trying to sell me, legitimately just let me know so I could get it taken care of.Place also seemed much cleaner/brighter than I remember with fresh coffee at the ready. I will definitely be returning and my Midas hiatus is now over.

Midas has been the most helpful! I ve had an alignment completed here about three months ago and got a better price than I would have paid at the dealership. Yesterday I came back in for a mysterious noise and was quickly helped despite not having an appointment. Everyone was friendly and very explanative about the problem - which was wheel bearings beginning to go bad. They were able to fix it within the day (which I was super thankful for since I am leaving for a trip this afternoon!), and the manager was even kind enough to help me out with a drive back home. Marc was also great and kind enough to give me his card in case any other problems arose. I would highly recommend all the folks here.

I bought my Trax brand new in 2016 and this is the first time I have ever trusted anyone other than the dealership to work on my car and you guys were wonderful!! You were very friendly and knowledgeable. You explained exactly what was wrong with my car and what may even need fixed in the future so I can watch out for it and get it repaired before it causes damage or for me to be stranded in this weather. I will definitely bring my car back and let others know they can trust you with their repairs too. The cost was even better than I expected. Thank you so much for taking such good care of her.

If you are looking for good service, professional staff, with a positive atmosphere, look no further!These folks care about their customers and their safety. This was my first visit to this shop and I can say, they now have a customer for life! I'm very happy with the service. As for the price, they are in the ballpark with everyone else but if you want the fix done right the first time, this place is the only place to go too! Well done to the entire team at the Midas location in Lafayette!

Broke one of the valve stems on my tire and had to find a way home and leave my car behind. First thing next morning i made my way back and started calling places to have it fixed. It just so happened my car broke down right next to another tire place but they quoted me a very high price and said it was going to take over an hour. I've had no issues with Midas before always got great service so I gave him a call and they said they would do it for a fraction of the price and that I could bring it right in. Took my tire to Midas only took a few minutes paid for it and was on my way no problems, friendly people, no what they're taking about and they get the job done every time wouldn't change a thing!

The oil change was fine, no complaints there, and my vehicle was brought in on time for my appointment. But the attempt at selling unnecessary additional maintenance for $3000 is absurd, especially since the technician lied on the inspection sheet about my tire tread depth. And the service advisor attempting to sell the repairs by saying that my tires tread depth is illegal, which is a blatant lie.

I recently got a set of tires put on my Ford F-150 4x4 and they are fantastic as I expected. I discovered this place while taking a fleet car there starting several years ago and I've been continuously reminded of the friendly, professional, and quality service. I've highly recommended friends and family. I can't say enough.

Excellent quality of service they go up and beyond to make sure you understand what they found and explain it so you thoroughly understand it. Very helpful and professional. I have used this shop and location for all of my vehicles. Staff is always very kind and friendly. Whenever I have any problems that s who I m going to call for an appointment. You should too!

I want to thank Midas for its outstanding auto serves. Before I visited Midas, I visited the Toyota service department at Lafayette to repair a flat tire of my vehicle. Unfortunately, after the flat tire was fixed, a new problem occurred which caused my vehicle pulling towards the driver's side while I was driving. Then I asked Toyota service department to fix this new problem but got rejected unless I would have to purchase four new tires from this department which did not make sense to me. Then, I started searching for a reputable local auto repair shop and found real nice reviews about this Midas. I then visited this shop and described the problem that I experienced with this vehicle. Mike, who was at front desk was very tentative listening to me with great care and told me they would look at the problem first. After about 1.5 hour hard diagnosis, repair and test drive, the problem was solved. Mike also described how the problem could be found based on his extensive hands-on experience with auto repair. I was deeply impressed. Moreover, they did not charge me for their excellent work. So, I was truly touched by Mike and his crew's truly caring about their clients and technical skills. Mike and his crew are the ones who you can trust and rely on to solve your frustrations and for outstanding caring services. Definitely I highly recommend others to visit this auto shop to solve your vehicle problems.

Always fast, kind, and affordable. I always feel like I'm getting the best care for my car when I go here. No hidden labor fees or extra costs, everyone is very upfront and honest. Staff is always welcoming and friendly and happy to help.

This is the place to go if you want friendly helpful people to work on your car. We needed some brake work done while traveling from northern WI to visit family in NC. It was late on Dec. 23 and even though they could have told us it was too late, they did everything they could to help my family and I get back on the road. This team went the extra mile to help us get back on the road so we could make it to our destination by Christmas Eve. We definitely lucked out when we found our way to this shop. They saved our holiday road trip and we couldn't be more thankful to them!

They put my Mirror on (they don t have to do that at all) for a small fee; on top of Discounting my Oil Change! They have been going above & beyond for my cars from 2013 to 2024. They have always been good to me

Midas in Lafayette has that small town quality in the city! I was very impressed with their customer service and the overall positive attitudes of everyone there. My breaks went out in my car and they had me fixed up in no time! I m so very grateful for the wonderful service they provided! I will definitely be back!

work was great and they were able go get my car done even if its low. 4 stars only because i wish the tech that test drove my car didnt slap it in sport, then pop it in neutral and rev it in front of my face.

After a stressful and scary morning with black ice we drove about 45 minutes to get there at the recommendation of the tow truck driver. As soon as we got there we were welcomed, every employee we spoke with went above and beyond to help us and make sure we had what we needed. We got there around 8am and they had us back on the road by 5pm the same day!! The service and care provided went above and beyond our expectations. We were from our of state and in a bind on a Sunday afternoon. My son at Purdue University had brake issues with his right rear brake making a grinding noise. Midas charged $27 for an estimate and the estimate was $1,700 after a $200 discount, so $1,900. We bought the parts for $420 and did the work ourselves in 2 hours. It is absolutely ridiculous that they wanted to take advantage of our son, probably like they do all college students that don't have any other option, which costs them, or their parents nearly $1,000 to $1,200 extra. Midas you should be ashamed!!!

They were great Mark and Jerry( I hope that was his name) they were great my car was in and out they even let me know I had a headlight out and replaced it quick environment was great and everyone was friendly and in a great mood definitely will be back.. Pricing for my brakes and light was the best around town.

The people were very cordial on the phone. Took the time to answer questions. I did the overnight drop off. They called me promptly in the morning , then started the repair process. I set up an appointment and arrived there many minutes early. I only wanted an oil change. It took me over 2 hours. When the job is done, they knuckle drag and try to sell you on a lot of unnecessary things. The only reason I take my car to get an oil change is because of convenience. I could easily jack my car up in my driveway and do it myself in 15 mins. People have lives and cannot afford to waste over 2 hours of their time getting an oil change when they set up an appointment three days in advance. This is the second place I have been in this town that just drags their feet on everything then tries to sell you on a bunch of stuff you do not need. If you are in this town, I recommend just taking it to a dealer service center if it is a car made in the last decade. You will feel better.

Everyone is always so friendly and get the job done well, so for that 5 stars all the way! My only hesitation with giving them those 5 stars is that even with an appointment (I called ahead) I was there for nearly 2 hours.

So I work on most of my own 3 vehicles I have. When I don't have the time to get something done I take it to midas. Great experience the times I've gone there. And they don't try and sell you a bunch of other services you don't need. Highly recommend!!

I was in town for a family emergency, my brakes began to make a noise I contacted them late on a Sunday evening, Michael s folks without hesitation said bring it to us. They got me in at 10 am the next morning I had my truck back brakes are solid the folks were extremely friendly and professional. I highly Midas Lafayette.Marvin Lipfird.

Everyone is armrests so friendly here. My dad and I have been taking our cars here for years and they always take care of us. They always check with us before they do something if it's something that doesn't need to be taken care of right away. This last time when I picked up my car the mechanic who worked on my car took the time and went through the whole list of things that they look at and explained what was good and what might need to be replaced in the future.Service: Oil change

Thanks! My wife text me, she had a low tire. Being very cold, and myself in hospital I suggested she stop at a garage or tire shop for help. She stopped at your establishment and l was relieved at what she texted me. People there were very friendly and immediately checked ALL tires! Gentlemen & Ladies, being an old school Marine, I appreciate and respect that attitude!! Any need for future work on our vehicles you will be our first call!! Again, Thank you
