Emma from service did a great job! Dropped my GTI off for its regular maintenance and she had the shuttle all ready for me. She communicated through the whole process and provided a shuttle ride when my car was done. I am happy with the pricing and my overall experience. I will be back for my next service appointment.

I had a few service items that needed addressed, they scheduled me an appointment within a week. Jenny, the service advisor, was very helpful. She also gave updates throughout the service on what was being completed and approx. how much time remained.

Had to take my daughter s car in for an error message. Service department was great to work with and everyone was very helpful. Took care of the issue, and let me know what they found. Work was finished early and they made arrangements for my daughter to pick it up. No stress, no hassle. Customer for life.

We recently purchased a new VW Taos SE with the help of James Hardman. He was helpful and tolerated my idiosyncrasies regarding cars. As an engineer I have some very particular needs and James proved to be helpful.He s tall like my husband and between the two of them we were able to test out the space in the Taos. Both easily fit at the same time.I ve not yet needed the service department so cannot comment on that.If you want a new VW, go see James Hardman and tell him I sent you!

We had just gotten new tires put on in September plus we had brakes put on and some other work done and we knew the tires were under warranty but usually the sensor comes on and it says you know certain tires low or whatever well the sensor came on and it said that my left back tire was low and I had driven to Walmart and everything seemed fine and I had to run out again in any way that same message came on and I pulled out and I started to pull down and I realized something majorly was wrong and got out and the tire was fine and I walked over to the other side and my tire was completely flat as a pancake so I back backed up and drove back in the driveway and anyway my husband took it down there they did not have a tire they called around everywhere and couldn't find the same tire that we had so I had asked Mike if there was any way they could provide a vehicle for my husband to drive back home he didn't feel really comfortable driving with the little Tire on there and they gave him a 20-24 Audi oh my God he said he was a nervous wreck driving it he drove it home and parked in the driveway and that's where it stayed he was scared to death to drive it and then of course the day he had to drive it back down there to switch out vehicles to get my vehicle was the day that it snowed and slushy and terrible he said his knuckles were white by the time he got there driving a brand new vehicle $50,000 and something. So Mike the manager definitely definitely was the second time he went out of his way to help us this was the second time so we do appreciate that more than anythingThat speaks volumes when you're treated very well like that

I went in for a recall service. The procedure was done in the quoted time, and they went above and beyond. They did a multi point inspection as well as topping off my fluids. Everyone was kind and courteous. Will definitely be back for other service as needed.

I was told that the service department was full. That it would be 1-2 days before they might be able to look at my car. I dropped my car off after hours one night and they had it ready for me to pick it up the next evening. They took advantage of an appointment cancellation and that is when they hopped on my car and knocked it out!

I had to substitute the rear hatch struts of my 2006 Beetle.Overall cost incurred: 214$+312$ see belowI stopped by the service, explained the problem and fixed the appointment.When I left the car, I was told that to do the work, the service had to do a multi-point inspection; when I said that I did not want/need to do the multi-point inspection, they told me that the service would NOT do the struts replacement without doing the multi-point inspection. So, I let them do the (unneeded) multi-point inspection. For 214$ I got back the estimate of other works to be done (front brake & pad rotors: just 858$ - I refused to do it-), and the the nice movie of the inspection.Please note that in the invoice the service included a charge of $22.80 "Customer pay shop charge for repair order)".Second round.The rear hatch struts were substituted.Part cost: $94.99 PLUS#2 Gasfilstru $84.75 each = 169.50$ (I suppose it is the gas to fill the shocks)The invoice included again a charge "Customer pay shop charge for repair order)", but now the amount is $31.74.I think that no additional comment is needed.I was thinking of getting a new VW. With this kind of local service I think I will not do that.

We re on our road trip heading to Tennessee when our infotainment system suddenly went black and couldn t start. The service department headed by Mike are very accommodating and considerate. They temporarily fixed the problem that made us proceed to our destination and told us to go to our dealership to order the parts that needed to be replaced. Thank you so much Lafayette VW!

Always a pleasure to make our annual trip to have our Beetle serviced. Worth the hour drive just to see such great, friendly and professional folks. Everyone was so very friendly and welcoming. They kept me updated throughout my time there. The only thing I d change is having you closer to my home! Avery fully inspected my car and sent me a video which was awesome. He did quote me for brakes and rotors all the way around which I ended up getting the brakes and rotors replaced elsewhere for $1400 less than the quote I got from Avery. With that said though Avery did a thorough inspection and oil change on my car at a reasonable price.Service: Oil change

Lafayette VW came through for us in a big way in August. We were 1000 miles from home when our Tiguan triggered an error code one night. We brought car to them in the morning, and they were able to rapidly diagnose and replace the part (injector harness) and we were on the road home by early afternoon. Staff is friendly. Scheduling was easy with my work schedule. They were able to get my car in that week for oil change. Brandon went through the inspection with me as I was checking out and let me know everything looked good. I wasn t hassled to do or get anything else completed. I have always had a good experience with Lafayette Volkswagen, they are very caring and courteous and work to make sure that any problems I have are resolved. If your vw is under warranty it is definitely worth taking to the lafayette vw dealership for the warranty work. They get it done fast and you get a nice clean loaner to drive while you wait. No matter how long it's gonna take for them to get part's for it.

On a cross country trip when the low coolant warning came on. We Googled the nearest VW Dealer and this shop was only 10 miles away. They diagnosed the issue (needed a new water pump), had the part, fixed it and we were on our way in about 3 hours. All staff were friendly, let our dog be in the waiting area and even brought him water.

Very disappointed with service of my vehicle. Had an appointment on Monday, dropped off vehicle days early so it would be available to them. Called and left message Tuesday about an update- nothing. Stopped by dealership on Wednesday, they shooed me out with a promise of calling me with an update. Nothing. Fast forward to Thursday, still did not even look at my car. Ended up contacting VW corporate and filed complaint. They called me Friday with the expectation of looking at the vehicle that afternoon. Found the problem, part was in stock. Didn't get completed. Monday- they lost the part. The dealership finally figured out where the misplaced part was and replaced it under warranty on Tuesday. As it was part of diesel emissions, it was under warranty, and a loaner car should have been provided by dealership. I had to rent a car at my own expense for 8 days. I have dropped off a copy of the rental car bill on Tuesday to the service manager with the expectation that he will contact me with an update of reimbursement. It's Friday and I haven't heard anything. Very disappointed in Lafayette Volkswagen Service. 8 days to replace a part that was in stock is unacceptable. Will be driving 1.5 hours to another VW dealership next time I need maintenance service.Service: Auto exhaust system repair

I had previously had not great experiences with this dealer after I bought my 2019 Atlas from them & actually drove over an hour to another dealership for repairs and maintenance. I decided to give them one more chance & I m thankful I did. Mike the new service manager is fantastic! The maintenance and service on my vehicle was complex and took a couple hours to complete. I waited on site and he came and updated me several times throughout the visit. His great customer service has now changed my opinion on this dealership and I will visit them again for any future services. Thanks Mike!Service: General repairs & maintenance
