Had a brand new Peterbilt truck with some serious engine issues towed to JX Peterbilt in Lafayette Indiana for repairs. Jeff took care of calling the tow truck and getting it dispatched. They got us in that afternoon to find out an injector cracked and leaked fuel into the oil. They had an injector and I was shocked when the tech agreed to stay late and replace it and flushed the system and added oil and got us back on the road that evening. Amazing service and highly recommend getting repairs made at this shop. Great staff. Friendly people and very polite.

I stopped in here while out on the road, because my coolant was leaking. Originally they were backed up and didn't know when they could see the truck. After patiently waiting they were able to get us in, replace the coolant line, and get us out. Overall friendly folks.

OK so had a call in Lafayette this evening. 30 minutes away from our shop no big deal. Customer stated they needed a red and blue airline and asked the customer does he need a 7 pin round electrical cord. No. Turns out he did. Drove the 5 minutes to get to jx at about 7:30pm....hmm pars department is open until 8. No sir closed sign on door. Go in the after hours door walk in greeted by an unkempt non-professional looking gentleman. Do you have an account here? No. We deal with the one in Indianapolis. I can't sell you one without an account. Ummm okay will you sell us one? Not without an account. OkWell I can sell you one, as long as you have an account. Finally guy sold us one through indy account errrrr...

The only issue I had is that my time is not valuable to the service department. The technician Robb was awesome. The service writers could not be bothered to be proactive. My truck was dropped of for a/c service just after 9:30 am. Hose was sent out to be repaired at 3:30 pm, being as that is late in the day it means I have to stay over night. I know they offer and performed a free inspection which I appreciate, however that could and should have all been done once my initial complaint was addressed and diagnosed and made know known to me. It is for this reason alone that I did not give them the go ahead to do any of the other work. This is yet another reason to avoid dealerships.Service: Air conditioning

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FORM THE PARTS DEPT.They don't answer the phone and orders get "lost" plus they can never find anything. I will find another dealer and pay for shipping before I call them again.I only gave 1 star because it wouldn't let put 0.

My truck was towed to this location Memorial day. They were closed for the holiday. Truck was diagnosed Tuesday and the problem was found. The only hold up was getting parts which was out of their control. Part came in Thursday morning around 8 a.m.. Truck was ready for pickup around noon. Very happy with this place. Thanks to everyone involved!Would definitely recommend them for repair on Peterbilt trucks!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I have a way better experience here then there bolingbrook location! I have bolingbrook 2 star Lack of professionalism i, Lier s and will not honor my warranty!I recommend them management was awesome!The workers did a great job! One great big guy in service had a attitude but overall I would rate them a 10stars and will use them again!Service: Electrical

Not friendly to the drivers at all. They don't listen to the drivers on what us going on. Very slow on getting the truck started. The hours on the website and google are off they close at 8pm not 12am. If you can pass by this shop and try the next one.

Im gurdeep from (SBD transport)Mechanics are friendly, open to explain technical information and determined to fix the problem rather than collecting and sending you on your way. Seems to be a good ole shop you don't find often anymore These people are great! Best of the Best! Highly recommend!!

jx really helped us out. they went above and beyond to help out the truck that parked next to us. we are self contained all we needed was shore power and they provided this to us. but the peterbilt next to us needed alot of help as the drivers elderly mother was on board. they help her with supplies and bedding food and water.for 3 or 4 days. the night time management was particularly good. I would like to say thank you guys so much. you understand that service and humanity can go hand in hand. simpri fie!

I work with JX a lot and find there service and parts department are very helpful. Andy in service is always giving advice and leading me in the right direction. Happy these guys are in Laf

These guys are the real deal!!they made accommodations for me got me in and took care of my problem.WOW so GRATEFUL for their team.i come here alot so they have a customer for life.thanks guys!!!I recommend this place to anybody reading this.dont just read the reviews try it for yourself.

Very satisfied with my experience with the service shop. Found and repaired my electrical problem in a short time. Good experience with mechanic and shop office.

Terrible customer service. Can never talk to anyone on the phone. Always getting the call center and on hold for 10-20 minutes
