Jeff and Mariah are AMAZING! They were courteous, they got the work done in the projected amount of time and my car looks great. They even washed the exterior. I had forgotten how sparkly it is when cleaned!

I brought my Nissan Frontier in to have the side of the truck repaired and they did a wonderful job! You can't even tell there was anything wrong. Got it back in a few days. Thank you so much, I highly recommend you guys

I've been sending my cars to DeFouw for many years now, though I don't own a single GM vehicle. They were known to be one of the best body shops in Lafayette and they are great to work with. The advisors are always friendly and professional. They work with most if not all insurance companies and make the process very straightforward. I've always been satisfied with the service they provide and the quality of their paint jobs. I think they also have an express shop now, but I haven't tried that yet. If you are having your car fixed and your insurance company is paying, this is the place to go. If you are out of pocket, they can be a little pricey for sure.

Not happy! If I could give zero stars, I would. First, they tried to tell us the car was finished well we went to pick it up and paid. We went to leave but wanted to look at the car first. The trim piece on the outside was not attached, they put the same piece of trim back on it after replacing the door. We went back inside and the guy said they were sorry and were going to fix it. Second, we were told a few days later that it was fixed and ready to pick up. We picked it up and took a look at the OUTSIDE only and all seemed to look okay, not including some minor scuffs on the bottom trim that could be wiped off. We got home and I went to go put something in the back seat and saw this. When we brought this in, it was spotless. It is a brand new 2022 vehicle and this is UNACCEPTABLE. I would not recommend this collision center if you want your vehicle to be taken care of while in their hands and to be done with great, quality work.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Defouw collision center to have some repairs done on my car, and I must say, I am absolutely thrilled with the service I received. From start to finish, the entire experience was nothing short of exceptional, and I have Jeff to thank for that.Jeff took the time to listen to my concerns and thoroughly explained the repair process, putting my mind at ease. It was evident from the beginning that Jeff truly cared about my satisfaction and wanted to ensure that my car was restored to its original condition.Throughout the entire repair process, Jeff went above and beyond to keep me informed and updated on the progress. He consistently communicated with me, providing regular updates and answering any questions I had. I never once felt left in the dark or unsure of what was happening with my car. Jeff's attention to detail and dedication to customer service truly set him apart.Not only did Jeff excel in his technical skills, but his friendly and personable nature made the entire experience enjoyable. He made me feel like a valued customer and treated me with the utmost respect and professionalism. It's rare to find someone who genuinely cares about their customers and goes out of their way to ensure their satisfaction, but Jeff did just that.I cannot recommend Defouw collision center enough, and I especially want to commend Jeff for his outstanding service. I was sent here by my insurance company after my car's hood was struck by an object, leaving a small dent and paint mark. I was met in the lobby, given all the information I didn't think to ask, and sent home to wait for the insurance estimate. I was amazed to hear from Jeff the very next morning, confirming where the damage was. The insurance people did their thing and turned it over to the shop for the repair. Jeff called me that same afternoon with the wonderful news that I could come and confirm the repair as complete. I was not expecting a quick turnaround on the work, nor the absolutely stunning service! Jeff was extremely nice and helpful, giving me advise on how to proceed when I asked due to a lack of knowledge on body work. I will tell everyone I know to bring their vehicle here in the unfortunate event of needing work done on their car!Service: Body & Trim

My teenage daughter hit a deer on her to school one morning. Windshield was shattered. Glass everywhere. Damage to the roof and hood. When I called insurance they gave me a list of companies and warned me there would be a long wait for repairs at any of them. I randomly picked DeFouw and had the car towed in.This was probably the best car repair experience I ve ever had. I was kept in the loop weekly with updates about where we were in the repair process. The repairs started right away and we had the car back in four weeks, much faster than the insurance company had led us to believe. The car sustained a lot of damage from the deer but we got it back as good as new.

Such kindness and understanding.While there I witnessed another associate gently assist a VERY grumpy client who was not listening. It seriously concerns me with the people they have working on your car. Lots of unsafe cars out there by now. They will also tear up the interior of your car using it to store greasy and dirty car parts. They lost bolts because they just scattered them all over. Damaged my paint and killed my battery. Did unnecessary work. Absolute worst experience you could get from a shop.

Nothing but issues with y'all. Scratchs on new body panels 2 different times. Front desk lady has an attitude about every little thing. They don't call you when your car is "complete". Tried to have us take our car when it was missing a piece. Parts not glued/taped down professionally. Our trunk was not installed correctly the first time.UPDATE:The shop says they are going to make it right.

I've taken my car in twice first time had my front bumper smashed they had it replaced pretty quick no real issues everything lined up nice. Only issue was a small paint run on one of the edges of the bumper.Second time was just last week got the car back yesterday. Had to have my front bumper and passenger fender replaced. The alignment is pretty off. I had to bend the sides of the bumper that align to the fender because it noticeably stuck out. There also seems to be a larger than normal gap between my bumper and hood. There are rough paint spikes along the seams of the bumper. Where the bumper meets both fenders paint is rubbed off on both pieces from ill-alignment.Most of it is admittedly minor but once you notice little things like thaton your car it's hard not to see it anymore. Still with all that, they have done a better job in a shorter amount of time and relatively cheaper cost than some other popular collision shops in town have for me. Plus their customer service is fast I've always just been able to walk in and out, no wait so that's a plus.

This review was from a "repair" done a few years back, my wife had damage to front of her suv 2015 toyota highlander, once we got the vehicle back it looked good till..... started to notice several issues with job. Main issue was front bumper kept coming out. Many attempts later still not fixed.

Came here for collision work in the past. Wonderful job. Brought my truck in for a new bumper. Not a collision. Just a rusty old bumper. I'm confident thus job will be just as good.

I just purchased a 2016 Ford Explorer that needed a few scuffs on the passenger side quarter panel worked out. We took it back in a couple days later. The work they did was good but once I got back in someone has taken our phone chargers out. They had no need to be in the car other then to just drive it. The sale guy that went to go back and look for it acted like it was no big deal but to me stealing is stealing.

I was rear ended & brought my car to DeFouw Collison Center. I was pleased with the outcome until I went to get in my car today & the wash/detail they did on my car after the repairs left buffer burn scratches all over my entire car. I am sick to my stomach.
