The claim adjuster took pictures of everything. Bur in the end some of the repairs was not on claim so they didn't fix the things I came for .vi had a horrible experience cause they wanted to put in second claim when it wad already noted the first time . Horrible service and they money hungry I

Loose lug nuts. This morning I bought new tires, this afternoon stranded on the side of the road from my tire shaking with loose lug nuts.If this was a one off, it would not matter to me, but this is the 3rd time it has happened to me from DeFouw service in the past 2 years. They atleast sent someone out to torque all the lug nuts back down. There was even one on another tire that was barely threaded on.Will I go back? Most likely no. Which is a shame for a dealer that represents Chevrolet and is supposed to provide quality service.After getting home, check the torque and all are good. Upon further inspection, the rims are all nicked up from where they got reckless with a socket on an impact. If you want your vehicle properly cared for, go some place else. This has been the only place I have gone for service since I bought the truck from them 4 years ago, time to find some place new.Adding this to the DeFouw service. It posted in the dealership page.

Great service. Very friendly staff. But even with warranties in place, full-coverage insurance, and supplemental insurance, I'm still paying out of pocket. I really think that they worked for the insurance companies rather than working with me. Repair is solid and all together took less than 2 hours. Clean waiting area with vending and complimentary water. Good overall.

I bought a new 2020 chevy trailboss from them and the service is horrible. Had the truck for 4 hours and still couldn't find the problem and wanted to charge me for it very rude and uncooperative. 2 times for the same recall. This time wanted to just start taking things apart without knowing the problem as a process of elimination this is ridiculous also wouldn't supply a loaner car or attempt to get one. I'll never buy from them again if this is how you get treated after you buy a 60k dollar truck !!!!

Wish you go give negative stars. Sales staff is wonderful. Service sucks. Took my car in for repair the person stated they were not sure they could fix it. Mind you I know I was taking a Nissan to a Chevy dealer, however that is where I purchased the car. The fixed the wrong part. One day later I had the same problem. Management would not return a call, and the service people said they fixed what the machine told them to. I went to the Nissan dealer and they fixed the problem. Both are owned by the same company. I will not be taking my car back to the Chevy dealer, where I was treated lile I didn't know anything, because I am a female.

When I called in to get an issue with my car fixed, the person I talked to told me it was a common issue that they were pretty sure was going to be a recall and if not then it would be covered under the power train warranty. When I got to the service center they told me that was not the case. They charged me $95 just to look at the issue then wanted to charge me an additional over $500 to fix the issue. I was only 2,600 miles over my bumper to bumper warranty. I will never buy from them again. After spending the money for a brand new vehicle it's ridiculous that after just 2 years issues are already popping up and no one wants to make it right other than offering to trade it in...Service: General repairs

Took my car here and paid for a diagnostic test only to find out they didn t even run the proper test. They told me I needed a Cadillac Converter which was 13000 only to find out I NEVER needed that I just had a fuse blown ! I called and asked them what test they ran and they re all acting clueless ! DO NOT take your car to there ! They re money hungry and will tell you anything to get it !!!

Took a 2012 Chevy truck in for airbag recall, as the airbag light was ON. Defouw replaced the passenger airbag & bracket per recall. I get the truck back, and the airbag light is STILL ON!A phone call to Defouw, spoke to Joe, revealed that there could be a million other reasons the airbag light is still on. It was suggested to bring the truck in and have the entire airbag system diagnosed, at MY EXPENSE. You would think, with a vehicle system as IMPORTANT as the airbag system, there would be a bit more concern to make sure a customers vehicle was safe to drive. I'm thankful for the airbag they replaced for free, BUT I am NOT confident that either it nor the drivers airbag will actually work in a crash. Not very happy

I dropped off my car the night before my appointment. At no point was I told that I needed to complete an early bird check in form. I left the keys with the car and left the door unlocked. The car was clearly visible in the lot out front of the service station.I had an appointment scheduled for 8:00 am. At 8:01 am I called the service desk to make sure they knew my car was there. They said they had the car and were going to start working on it. After hearing nothing all day I called the shop at 3:30 pm. At this point I was told no work had been performed on my car because the shop did not know it was there.Between not notifying me of early-bird forms, me giving a heads up call to the shop at 8:00 am, and me having a reservation in the system with all of my vehicle and contact information, DeFouw failed in 3 instances to confirm with me that my car was parked in the lot and that they were able to start work. This mix-up caused considerable inconvenience on my part because I did not have access to my car for a full day, for a repair that should have taken no more than 90 minutes.On top of this, after my service visit I found a discarded hair cover from one of the workers under my drivers side seat which I had to discard myself. Having to come into contact with this personal article was incredibly unsanitary, especially at a time when heightened safety measures are necessary to limit virus spreading.If I could give less than 1 star I would. After this experience I no longer trust the organization, sanitation, or quality of work that DeFouw can offer. I purchased my car here, and had been a loyal service customer for 3 years but now I am completely dissatisfied. I will no longer be giving my service nor recommending the dealership or service desk to anyone.

They have a very nice facility with friendly staff. 3 stars because a simple oil change took 1hr45min, had an appointment made 4days in advance...most Chevy service are in and out in 30min plus a free truck wash.

DeFouw was my primary service provider for 5 years on my 2016 Cruze. In the past I have had negative experiences with other dealership-associated service centers constantly pushing for unnecessary maintenance, over-charging, and using needlessly expensive and premium parts. Over 5 years DeFouw has been excellent with both routine and diagnostic maintenance, both covered and uncovered by warranty (even though I did not purchase my vehicle from them). I have never been pressured to add unnecessary maintenance, DeFouw uses OEM / reasonably priced parts, and routine maintenance is actually cheaper than local "discount" mechanics. Once I had squeaky brakes, but nothing was wrong, and I was only charged $13 for the brake inspection. Another time my vehicle was kept one day later than expected, and I was given a discount on my service to compensate.I recently moved out of state, and my new local chevy service center immediately tried to up-sell me $800 of unnecessary service and ultra-premium brake fluids and engine coolants (even though Chevy themselves use the cheap stuff). I miss DeFouw! Even if I lived in Indianapolis I would probably make the drive. If all Chevy service centers were as straightforward as DeFouw I would buy another Chevy in a heartbeat.Services: Electrical repair, Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, General repairs, Wiper blade installation, Oil change

We we're packed ready to go on vacation early Friday morning. Got on the road outside of town and my check engine light came on so I turned around went home and waited for Defouw's to open. Got there at 7 Will came out and greeted us, checking us in. Between Scott,Will,Matt and the technician (sorry I didn't get he's name) they got us in found the problem and got us back on our way asap. Thank you guys Merry Christmas

Had a appointment for an alignment on my 2014 Silverado today at 1pm 4/19/19. After I told Chad I had a leveling kit onmy truck, he put me on hold, came back and turned me away due to the lift!! LOL!! The trucks no higher than any other truck they sell on they're lot!I'll be looking for a new Silverado soon and guess where I will NOT be going to purchase my new truck! I'd be afraid of dealing with they're service department in the future!

Made an appointment for my first oil change at 9:00 am. Two hours later... it got put on the wrong schedule... I m sorry, 2 hours is ridiculous, while I wait in the cold because my ride had an appointment 2 hours later. I also had made an appointment somewhere else for 11:00 and guess what? I was late.
