Defouw Chevrolet is a great lot to work with, everyone has a great attitude and loves their job. Sheila was fabulous to work with on my purchase. She knew what she was talking about and was easy to talk to. If I ever need another vehicle I will be talking to her. Just recently purchased 2024 equinox, really love this vehicle. Thanks Shelia Passmore for working hard for us. Helping getting our discounts for us. Staying late for us while we did our paperwork. Then went over the vehicle to explain everything to us about it. Shelia is the best car sales lady there is!!. We just love her. She will be our go to sales lady forever. Will always recommend her to everyone we know.We cannot forget Bailey, he was great at explaining our paper work. As a first time participant of the renown Dealership Dance, I have to say that Chad and the rest of the associates at DeFouw made the experience incredibly simple and fun. While the anticipation is high when buying a new vehicle, I have to say that these guys really did their best to land me a solid deal on my purchase. I drove off the lot two hours after having arrived in a brand new SUV and haven t stopped smiling- and this all happened three days ago! My car buying experience at DeFouw Nissan of Lafayette was a good one. The salesperson assigned to me was Jordan Banter. He was professional throughout; initial meet & greet, test drive, post interactions when sale price discussed and his follow up post sale. Prior to and during the test drive, he was able to provide me with a good amount of information about the vehicle. Actually, he seemed excited to show what was under the hood, as well as other features the car had. His follow up was timely and he seemed genuinely invested that I was happy with my purchase.The only negative I have, and this is not a reflection of Jordan, and why I did not give this experience a 5, was what I perceived as a disconnect between the online sales and in person. I don't recall exactly when I did my initial online search-------obviously sometime during the week prior to the Sat I visited the dealership------Although I indicated what I wanted to look at and when, no one seemed to know where the car was when I arrived at the dealership. A little awkward. Maybe I did not allow enough time? The same thing happened when I returned to look at the car again on the following Monday. And then, some while after I had already met with Jordan at the dealership, I was contacted by the online sales. Get it together folks.I am "liking" my car and anticipate I will love it very soon----still needing time to adjust to an unplanned car payment.

I went there without really knowing the process of buying a car all that well, and they treated me so well. Noel Evans walked me through the entire process and showed every detail every step of the way. Their prices were fair, and they had excellent deals on their warranties. Overall, I m very satisfied with my purchase there, and will definitely consider going back whenever I buy another car!

Frankly a year and a half ago my truck was rear ended. The tailgate was repainted. It was redone 3x and it never matched. I gave up on them. What brings this up is that today I brought my truck in for some other work at a reputable body shop for other work and he mentioned how the tailgate didn t match. It just pissed me off. I love my old truck and they did a terrible job. I wish they would just let me take the take the truck to a good repair shop and pay for it. I was never happy and I d never use them for body work again. They didn t even keep the truck and took the tailgate by itself, so how could they match it!

Brian was very helpful and knowledge when we purchased our new Tahoe! He walked us through the process from start to finish, showed us all the features in the car before we drove it off the lot. I brought my vehicle in for a turbo recall. Upon the parts jockey scanning my car he kept saying that it was my catalytic converter, which was not the issue my turbo was bad. Oh and then the parts jockey accused me or someone else tampering with my turbo. No one has touched my car unless it needed an oil change. Turbo was replaced, and on my way home which is a good half hour out of town I would get the burning oil smell. On my way home from work my car really started acting up. Come to find out that I had very little to no oil in my engine whatsoever. Brought it back the next day, which would be today, just for the same parts jockey, who has NEVER worked on a vehicle a day in his life, to tell me that the problem is something that he "told" me about. If that was the case then it would of been in the printout that I was given. Only thing listed that was "found" was that I needed to get a new water pump and thermostat. Where in the printout did it say that I had 2 bad gaskets I have no clue because I read it and my s.o. has read it. Which neither of things that "needs" fixed doesn't need fixed at all. Be warned if you go in stay clear of Chad Timmons because he is the one diagnosing cars.

When I picked up my Traverse the bill was over $1200. I understood that. I had a coupon attached when I left the dealership they could not find. The gentleman invoicing me said those coupons were a max of $100. They took that off. I found my original email when I got home and it was 20% off a max of $1000, or $200, not $100.I tried explaining it was 20% but Defouwhad lost my attached coupon.Defouw does good work but this was a billing mistake and I lost $100.I still have my bill and my email!David Bassett

I saw wonderful reviews about Pam strain so I picked her as my salesman and she was absolutely fantastic. She walked me through all the processes and all the features on my phone. She's knowledgeable,witty and funny. She's a joy to work with and I wouldn't highly recommend her to anyone looking for a vehicle

I had brought my vehicle in for service and let them know that my tire. I need to check that I was having to add air to it every other day I was informed that my tire was checked and there was nothing wrong with it. It was probably due to weather change, which is understandable. However, that would affect all of my tires not the same individual tire each time I took my tire to a tire place the next day within 10 minutes and informed me my tire was fine however, my room was cracked. I was pretty sure that I have the warranty on my rims. However, once I scheduled the appointment and arrive, they told me that I did not after making an appointment having someone show up to pick me up within five minutes. They informed me that yes my room is indeed cracked. They don't think they can get the replacement rim even if they could get it they would have to order at least eight so my best bet would be to try somewhere else the next day I received a call stating that yes they found my rim. They're ordering it it will be in, I got a call the day after saying that my room had arrived so I schedule an appointment for the following day. I showed up an hour early for my appointment, drop my vehicle off anyway, and proceeded to wait in the waiting room, knowing well yes, I was an hour early if I took after that hour, that was fine however, I wasn't going to drive 30 minutes home and then turn around and drive back, so I proceeded to wait in the waiting room with my infant an hour and 45 minutes later, they came into the waiting room and told me that they needed a sensor off of the damaged rim which I did not have, I was not told to bring and it was not with me also with that being said that means after my vehicle being there for an hour and 45 minutes they were just starting to takeoff my room. Mind you a good 15 people had come and gone for having their vehicle serviced oil changes, whatever other issues while I just waited to have a tire put on a rim and swapped out with my spare , some thing with what you got a typical tire shot would've taken 10-15 maybe 30 minutes I was there for almost 3 hours waiting for this to happen mind you know I need to make another appointment to go back because I was never told to bring the damaged room in for my sensor or that I needed to return the rim or I was going to be charged $150 core fee. All this while sitting in the waiting room with an infants, all because of failure to communicate something simple.

I worked with Pam to lease my new Chevy Colorado. She was awesome to work with and was a down to earth people person. She also went the extra mile helping me learn the new features on my vehicle. She also place some used floor mats on in the truck to protect the carpet mats until I was able to purchase all weather liners. I was extremely satisfied with my experience!

From top to bottom, the Defouw team does nothing but the best for their clients. Working with Mike Overby, Nick Simpson, Jeff Robertson, Brian Smith, and Grant Gernhardt has been a fantastic experience. The car buying experience is enjoyable, and the employees are able to answer any question you may have. Defouw always puts the client first, and for that, I ll never buy anywhere else.

I stopped in one morning to speak to Noel Evans early one morning, and inquired about three vehicles. We set an appointment for a Wednesday morning, of which two of the vehicles were available. I drove them both, and they both drove very well. Before I left, I told Noel to write up a 2024 Equinox, and I would be back that Friday to review the numbers. Needless to say, I drove it off the lot that day. Thanks to Noel for making my second buying experience at DeFouw a very pleasant one.

I ve been incredibly impressed with the team at Defouw. I was hesitant to bring my car to a dealership due to past experiences with being over-charged and talked down to. That was not my experience at Defouw. Everyone there was friendly and accommodating, even as my problem took longer to diagnose than expected. They never charged me for time they didn t use, even if they had already quoted me for it. They communicated with me throughout the process, and were respectful to me. I worked with Will, Brett, and Skip the shuttle driver, and they all made my experience great!

This place was great. Fast and easy. The only thing is maybe have a place for a car to be pulled into when it's raining so the customer can check the car over before buying and I kinda felt pushed to buy the extra warranty that I didn't want. Other than that, good experience
