Had them replace my cat. First time taking a vehicle into a shop instead of doing the work myself, so I was nervous bringing it in. But very respectful people with fast and affordable service.

I am from out of state and I needed a new catalvtic converter for my truck. I am from Texas, and cars are required to pass an emissions inspection in order to be registered and when I got the work done, I was told that the car would pass inspection just fine, about six months later I drove home from Purdue where I go to school and my car did not pass inspection and it cost over $200 to get the problem fixed. The welding was not done correctly and so exhaust was leaking out of the catalytic converter. I contacted the shop asking for a partial refund since they lied and the work was not done correctly. Their response was "no way". That's exactly how he said it. I would not recommend this shop at all because even if you don't half to have your car passing emissions standards like that it is evident that they are not doing quality work here.Service: Exhaust

This is by far the best automotive repair shop inTippecanoe county. Mr. Collins is reasonable in price, very honest, and does great work. I highly recommend him. If your short on money he will occasionally let you by the part and just charge you the labor to attach the part.Services: Exhaust, Brakes, Battery, Oil changeServices: Exhaust, Brakes, Battery, Oil change

The only exhaust shop in town that that doesn't make a mountain out of a molehill.Great service. Shop is dirty and smokey, but they have always done exhaust repairs right. A+++I do a lot of my own work except rusted exhaust studs ! ( today's issue) and messu coolant issuesOther shops take half a day for a simple repair and try to tell me about $800 in repairs I need to do that aren't needed or even due.Service: Exhaust

They fit me in at the end of the day on short notice because I only had one vehicle and my brake lines were leaking. Did the work in about an hour and charged a fair price. I tried to give them an extra $20 for helping me out in a jam, and they refused it. Great father-and-son garage. They'll get my return business.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

I had an exhaust issue on my vehicle that I had been fighting for quite some time. Even though I am pretty mechanically inclined, once I got the part to my house, I was unable to free the bolts holding the part that needed to be replaced. After some searching and asking around town, this place came highly recommended. I called them and they were able to schedule me in the same week. I showed up and they were able to replace the part using an OEM part that I provided. They charged a very modest labor charge. They were very prompt, honest, and straightforward. You can tell that they've been in business for so long because they treat customers right. I will not hesitate in bringing back any vehicles I need repair on in the future. I would highly recommend Collins!

I purchased struts for my van and tried to install myself. The bolts were seized and I couldn't do the job. I called several places and asked for a quote and was told $500.00 or more , Just labor!! I was told to check with Collins, because they were fair with the labor cost. I contacted them and explained my situation and they said they would charge $86.00 a wheel. They did the job and in less than an hour. You can go to a fancy shop and watch TV while you wait or go to Collins and get a great job done on your car or truck at a great price. Great people , great prices. They will have my business as long as I own a car.

Good work and better prices. Had my car in for a quote and they had me out the door less than an hour after my car went on the lift with the problem FIXED for under $100. I hope i don't have exhaust issues again anytime soon but if i do, best believe its coming back here.

Fantastic place. They fixed up my muffler for around $75. They even helped me shut my really broken door when I needed to head home. (Driver's side won't close so I just go through passenger's door. They shut it up for me and gave me advice on how to fix it, even!) Wonderful people!

Great work at a great price!!! My y pipe that hooks up to the manifolds had rotted off on one side making my truck very loud. I went to Beck's and they said it was going to start at $1,500 because they wanted to remove the manifolds and start over. They however gave me a card for Collin's shop and he said he could remove the very rusty studs and weld in a new short piece of pipe and it was only going to cost $100. I am so great full for his service and it looks like he did a very professional job. This is a great shop if you drive something older and don't want to invest a lot of money into your ride, he also seems to fix only what is necessary. If you go here be patient however because it is a small shop so he can only get a few vehicles in at a time but the wait was so worth the nice repair and the savings. I have not been to shop in eight years since I do my own repairs except for tires and exhaust, but if I ever have something happen again that I feel I do not have time for or I do not want to do myself I will be back to Collin's shop.

After getting several other exhaust installation estimates from area shops I took my truck to Collins and I'm glad I did.....Their price for installation was a lot lower than all of the other shops. Great prices and friendly people. Drive downtown and save money!!!

Great, quick service, I was in and out in half an hour after them fixing my exhaust pipe. They don't try to rip you off; for me, they replaced a section of the pipe as opposed to replacing the whole muffler, saving me $150-200. Highly recommended.

Great experience today! I was worried about the brakes in my car, and Tom, the owner, was able to fit me in the same day that I called. Not being accustomed to the snow, it ended up not being an issue at all, and I was in and out of the shop in less than an hour. He checked it out and even topped off my power steering fluid (unrelated to my brake concerns), and he didn't charge me anything! He explained everything to me clearly, and we even chatted a bit. I will definitely be taking my car back to Tom's shop for regular maintenance and anything else. Thanks for much for all of your help!

Very honest! They were reccomended to me by a close family friend. Called the shop, was able to get my vehicle in right away and it was repaired very reasonably. I have been back and had the same good treatment.

Collins was very laid back and accommodating. Their prices were competitive and fair. My car had a hole in the exhaust system, and they did a great job of putting in the new flex pipe. The car is very quiet now.

We took our car to a big dealership for an oil change and check up. They were going to charge us over $1,000 to replace something to "fix the problem". We took it to Collins and they found a fuse that needed replaced. Cost us $60 and the problem is solved. Super thankful!

I am a very happy customer.I went to Collins to get a diagnosis of the source of the noise in my exhaust system, and a quote for fixing it. One minute on the lift and I had both: a rusted-out flex pipe, and $100 (and they could get it done in 30 minutes). I'd been expecting it to be more than that, so I told them to go ahead and fix it.Ten minutes later the mechanic came to say that there were small rust holes under some shielding on the rear exhaust pipe that leads to the muffler. He said they weren't making much sound now, but it would worsen with time, and they could replace that part for another $45. He helpfully took me into the bay and under the lift so I could feel the pulses of air coming out from under the shielding. I said to fix that part too.45 minutes after arriving and a modest $145 later, my car is purring quietly once again.
