These guys were great! They were really busy but squeezed me in. I had a trip to make and needed new brakes and rotors resurfaced and they made sure I got out in time to leave for my trip. Very detailed in the work they do and they are very informative and honest. Definitely would recommend them. Service was great! I'll definitely be back. Thank you!

I've been taking my cars to the shop for three times and every experience is nothing but positive. Scotty is very personal and the guys only suggested the services that's needed. They get the job done quickly and do not sell unnecessary services. Price is great compared to some other shops in the area. Highly recommend!

This is where I will continue to visit, should I need anything done to my car. They were so nice, and knew exactly what they were doing. It took a while to get the service completed but I was 100% satisfied, and my Camry runs like a dream. Being there so long, I spent some time talking with the manager, Scott Smith, and he is an incredibly down-to-earth guy.

This place was excellent. I ve taken my SUV for a oil change and tire rotation in April and they made me feel welcome. 1st place in 15 years that I didn t feel pressured or stupid like some shops do when you are a woman.

Worst auto shop in Lafayette. They lied to me that they can't rotate my tires because it is not safe (i had a cupon that included this service for free) and Honda was able to do that. Also, when I left I had my tire pressure on and returned the car to them for air to discover 3 tired were low and one was very low, this tells me they didn't check the tires at all, and possibly didn't do anything right. Someone needs to seu this company and or fire their employees. I will tell everyone I know about this.

I've been using this place exclusively to get my oil changes since I moved here in 2019. They are very kind, friendly, honest, and do a great job of caring for my car. I will continue to be a loyal customer.

I come to carx for my oil changes but was highly impressed with the store manager Scott Smith, and how he handled the customer before me. He was extremely meticulous and patient when explaining himself to the customer regarding services for his vehicle. It's nice in such a fast paced world to witness this. Kudos to Scott! Still waiting on those parts?Headaches. STAY AWAYWent in for a simple oil change, they broke my hood rod clip, they over tightened and stripped 4 filter screws, then whatever trained technician that did the oil change left grease all over the paint near the wheel well that needed cleaned off. Thanks.

I operate a pilot car. I started having problems in Rockford IL. I couldn't find anyone to look at my car as I made my way home to North Carolina. When the service engine light came on, I started looking at every single garage for 100 miles before I found Car X in Lafayette, none would look at it for days. Scott Smith squeezed me in the next day. They identified the problem and hadme up and running within two hours. My car was misfiring and running very sluggish, sometimes stalling. Scott and his crew did an outstanding job getting me up and running and I truly appreciate his efforts. I am home in NC writing this as I made it home problem free. Car X store 1348 Lafayette IN. Noah was the tech. Thanks to both of you.

They have great customer service! I went in because Tire barn broke a piece on my car and couldn t find the piece or know of it was and they was there to help me with my issue. I highly recommend them if you need any service done.Service: Wheel alignmentService: Wheel alignment

I came in without an appointment due to an emergency and they got me in very quickly. William at the front desk was super friendly and helpful! Eddie worked on my car and ensured that it was good to go. They both showed me what was wrong and what they did to fix it which was really helpful to a girl who doesn't know much about cars. I will be going back for sure, very good work and service!

I have been looking for an Oil Change that actually cares about their customers and I have finally found it! Car X - they are great! I called in to try and set an appointment. I was easy, an Oil Change and Rotation and I can leave my car for a day and a half. He had no appointments but allowed me to drop my car off to fit in. Beau was my tech, and he got it done! I could tell the minute I drove off that the tires were actually rotated, I did not have to question any service. All around, great place! Highly recommend!!

Every time I go they get the job done in a timely manner and don t make up weird extra charges by breaking things in the car (like another place).The staff is friendly and patient. I wish they did all car services, I would only take my cars to them if they did.

Booked an appointment to replace a tire while on a road trip for my honeymoon.Employees came out to check on my car to ensure they could help me. After determining that they couldn t replace my tire, they called around to local shops to find a location in town that could assist me this morning. Along with their stellar customer service, they followed up via email to ensure we were able to be helped.This location and their staff turned a honeymoon nightmare into the best case scenario. Out on vacation hours away from home when my car decided to goof up on me. Called many places and Noone was able to service my car on such short notice. Then William called me back and was able to squeeze me in. Got my car repaired and was good to go. They even gave me a lift to and from the mall across the street so I didn't have to wait hours in their shop. Very happy with my service here. I had an appointment for 10am and I showed up at 10am. I waited in the showroom for 15 minutes and no employee or really anyone was in the showroom. The service people in the garage did see me, but they were busy working on vehicles. I left after 15 minutes and I plan on never going back. Poor customer service and I wasted my time.

I usually go here for oil changes but not after this last time. My suv was in there for 15 minutes tops. When I left my tire pressure light was still on which tells me he didn t really check my tire pressure. So he probably didn t even check the other fluids. It s a bit disappointing because I ve always liked this place but to just rush my vehicle thru and then charge me $45 for an oil change isn t cool. I m even questioning if the oil change even happened.Service: Oil change

The manager William was patient, knocked the price for my battery down, and added an additional promo. Called to keep me informed. Courtesy transport to work while they worked on my car (thanks Cody). I recommend them.

Picked up a new set of tires from this Car-X today. I asked, and they did a fantastic job of making sure that they didn't damage my wheels during installation. I guess I've had some bad luck at those "discount" places. I called around town looking for the best tire prices, and Car-X actually had everyone beat in both price and in scheduling convenience. I'll definitely return for other mechanical work as a result of this positive experience.

Was from out of town and got a flat while heading back home. They were back up with appointments and one of the workers said he would look at it on his lunch. I've been coming here for all of my car needs for the past 4 years. Much cheaper than the stealership and they don't try to force parts or unnecessary fixes down your throat. They'll also work with you on prices if it's not affordable for you. Great service as well. 5+ to these guys.

Very unprofessional. Had an issue with steering where it was hard to turn the wheel. Took the car in, had them inspect it, and they charged me $600 to fix the issue. However, the steering was exactly as bad as it was originally. They said that it would get better as I drove it more since they "lubed it up". However, this was not the case. I then took the car into another car x location in Illinois, and they said that the Lafayette guys replaced the incorrect part entirely. They would not offer a refund regardless. If you are new to driving, they will take advantage of you. AVOID.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I called Car-X when my car started making loud rattling noises, I was on my way home but still had about 3 more hours. Bill answered the phone and even though they were booked for the day he let me come in! They were so quick to fix my issue and so kind and understanding. Very trustworthy- Im so grateful for their help!
