from the staff taking my call, the tech who works on our vehicles, to the personnel who takes our payment, everyone is friendly and services us well. we are able to have everything explained to us, and they even send us a copy of the work order with their finings. I brought in a new to me older truck for an oil change and multi point inspection. They really went over the truck with photos and explained what needed to be done and what could wait till a later time. I appreciated the complete overview and detailed inspection that was sent to me by text message.I was happy with all the information provided and will be back for the work.Thank you!David Wilson

I was referred to Brad's from another auto service shop. I must say, they exceeded my expectations and we're able to fix my vehicle same day. Would recommend to anyone in the Lafayette area.

Replaced timing belt and 2 auxiliary belts , water pump, valve cover gasket refilled new coolant. Great job they did . Kept me updated with pictures and getting ahold of me if something needed done . I am very picky on people working on my vehicles because I like to do my own repairs. Too big of job and time for me so I trusted someone. Not disappointed at all

I would no longer recommend Brad s to have my vehicle repaired. For years I brought cars in to be serviced and never did they charge a diagnostic fee. Recently took a car in and they never mentioned a fee on the phone and I dropped the keys off after hours. Came in to see what the quote was (which was too high) so I declined, but they wouldn t release the car until I paid the fee. The rude girl at the counter pointed to a sign on the desk about the service fee. I asked if this was a new policy and she said they always have had a diagnostic fee, which I can tell you they have not. Good to know Brad is all about they money and not customers service anymore. I will not be back.

After my experience with Brad's Motor Marketplace, it is my opinion that they should NOT be trusted to repair your vehicle. We dropped off our Challenger so they could find and repair an oil leak coming from the back of the engine. They called us to say that they ran a camera to the back of the engine and it appears that the oil filter adapter housing was the issue. We explained that the housing was recently replaced and had the mechanic that replaced it look at the car and he noted that the housing was not the issue and it had to be coming from an oil plug or other source, but didn't have time to fix the car. That's why we took it to Brad's . Brad's said they can tear apart everything, but the labor would be over $300 to find the issue. We gave them permission to do so. Next thing we know, we are getting a call saying the car was ready to be picked up. The cost?... $1,000. They never called to tell us what they found, how much it would cost, or anything. The bill even had a $25 charge to check the air pressure in the tires, check fluid levels, etc. We didn't ask for that to be done. We had our usual mechanic call to inquire about the costs that were billed and Brad's said they upcharge the price of the parts in case they go bad the extra cost will cover future labor. He asked why the housing, a switch, and a sensor was replaced to which Brad's explained that it was nearly impossible to know which was the culprit. Did the car get fixed? Well, it's not leaking now so time will tell. The issue is that when you tell them you'll pay for the diagnostic and they say they will call, you shouldn't just get a call saying it's done and will cost $1,000. The upcharge for parts probably is a normal practice as many repair shops tend to be shady, but that was a huge upcharge compared to what we could buy it at retail. With all of this, it is my opinion that you try to find another repair shop for your automotive needs.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Brads did a brake fluid flush, new rotors, and pads at all 4 corners on my work van which currently has 85k miles.The brakes now feel better than the day I bought it off the lot. They grab so much sooner and feel smoother than ever before.I believe They used better quality parts than OEM.Great people and great service.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I've been taking my vehicles to Brad's for probably close to 10 years and they've always been good to me. Everyone's friendly and the work they do is top notch.Brad's a down to earth guy, honest about his work, has always worked with me on pricing for the more complex fixes, and if he can't fix it he knows someone that can.And this all shows in their parking lot. It's always packed!

My family has always had good things to say about Brad's until this past year. Even though they were having issues here and there I decided to believe the overall opinion. I will admit my family's bad experiences have influenced my opinion but I don't understand why my vehicle was kept for 4 days, never given updates even when called just told they'd keep it another night so they could see how it drove in the morning, wanted to verify all was well. On return I check my insurance safe driver's app and see it was moved from the parking spot to the garage engine on for 59 seconds at 5pm (it was dropped off the night before). The the next morning they drove it around the building for a total of 1 minute and 59 seconds at 11am, yet I called that night and was given the previous story of wanting to drive in the morning, blah blah. Car was never moved again. The following day they called saying it was ready. The work was great, car is running great, but what's with the stories? Is it company line for when people call? Why are the customers having to call, it's so easy to keep people updated through email, txt, call. Especially need to be keeping customers in the loop when a one day job becomes 4.

I can't even begin to tell u how much I wished I never gone there. They claimed they are honest but far from it. They lost my battery then they used one of theirs, then they claimed they found mine, but it was not at all, it didn't even fit it my car, so they had to give theirs back to me and the guy that waited on me slammed the door behind him when he was done handing me the battery and was going in the back room. They had my car for 2 weeks, they changed me 75.00 for diagnostic.. they said I had rust and needed a new exhaust,I had told them that on the phone when I called to see if they would look at it, so I they just made that up they did no diagnostic tests at all. I do not and will not recommend this place to anyone.

I am an out of town business owner. I needed repair work done on my patrol car, the quote came in and we decided to use Brads. The repair was done quickly and to my surprise, it was 40% less. I appreciate their honesty and integrity. I highly recommend them if you need your vehicle repaired

I've been going to Brad's for a few years bow whenever I need something done to me vehicle. They are always very friendly and helpful; even showing recorded videos of what they will work on. Their estimates for cost are very accurate and for the first time in my life and estimate they gave me was actually more than my final bill. Brad and his team were able to do the job faster than they estimated and didn't charge me for by dragging it out! All of their prices are listed on their wall and can be helpful to first timers that are unsure how things cost. Very positive experience! The only issue I can find is that due to their popularity, you will almost always have a few days wait to get your car in.

Just got back from Brad's. Told car would be fixed on Thursday, but they finished the job on Wednesday! Paid decent price within $5 of original estimate. Will return for all my service needs.Edit: Just had oil change completed 7 years later on a newer car and had the exact pleasant experience i had before. Highly recommended.

I only go to Brad s for my car repairs because he (and their other employees) are always honest about repairs. They will fix issues that ended up being simple and not overcharge me for it. I always recommend my family and friends to go here for their car repairs and oil changes! I have been going for years and will continue. Thank you Brad s for always being honest!

Brad and his crew are the best mechanics I know! Lafayette has plenty of Auto repair shops but none compare to Brad s! Brad is the most honest shop owner I know. You can feel safe and confident you will not get ripped off. They will do the job the correct way and in a reasonable price! I highly recommend this auto repair shop! I myself drive an hour to Brad s motor marketplace just to get my vehicles serviced, so you can see how much I value his work and repair shop! They also have someone who speaks Spanish!

Brad s has done all the work on the vehicles I have owned for over 30 years. Thanks to his teams great professional service on my last vehicle I drove it until I had over 175,000 miles on it. They always know how to fix any problems I have have had. Would highly recommend their service to anyone.

This is the only place that I take my car for service! Brad is fast and his work is guaranteed. His prices are fair and I never feel like I'm being taken advantage of. I've recommended Brad's to friends who have them also become loyal customers.

We have been with Brad for years. We bought a new car a few years ago and were lured into the dealership for warranty service, it was a joke, even simple jobs required multiple visits, and the charges were outrageous. Brad is quick and efficient, almost always completes the job the same day and at a fair price. Glad to be back at Brad s!

I started going to Brads 6 yrs ago when a dealership quoted me over $1200. to fix something to do w my spark plugs. Brad told me , in short, they were being dishonest. He s did the work and my total bill was $374. BIG DIFFERENCE! Brads has always been courteous and patient with me. (Single lady 68 yrs old). I take my car there for oil changes and anything else that goes wrong! I believe he is the most honest young mechanic in Lafayette !! Thank you Brad & your awesome staff.

Since moving to the area 5 years ago, we ve been using Brad s for any car issues we ve had. They ve done fantastic work installing our car hitch and wiring. Great work with the best prices around. I always recommend them.

We've been using Brad for over 20 years and his team is still the best. I asked him to check all that was wrong with my vehicle and he gave me several quotes to choose from. He is a man of honour & integrity who can be trusted. I think he knows take CARE of people instead of take ADVANTAGE and you forge a long-term successful business relationship!
