Our friend was working on our daughter s car Sunday (yesterday), late afternoon and asked if I could stop and pickup parts on my way home (since we live 25 minutes from town). He said they should have them under his dad s name at the counter.When I got there, the two employees were in the middle of a conversation about being under staffed and having too many duties. I understand this as it is with most businesses today, especially customer facing roles. (Probably not a conversation to have in front of customers though.)Anyway, the female asked if she could help, I gave her our friend s dad s name and I said I was here to pickup parts that were called in. She said she didn t know that name and hadn t spoke to anyone.The male asked me for the name and when I said it, he gave me a confused look. He asked what vehicle and I told him.He looked through the trash for paper with notes on it but didn t find anything. He then looked in the computer and found a similar vehicle for wiper blades. He asked how long ago they called and I told him in the last 30 minutes. He said that vehicle in the computer he saw was this morning and I told him I thought it was a bushing and not wiper blades and he still looked at me confused.I called our friend and asked what parts I was getting and he said brake pads and a control arm. Armed with this new information the guy finds it in the computer and says it s under *** ****** and I politely said I m pretty sure that s the name I gave you.He got the part numbers from the computer, went in the back to retrieve the parts and came back with brake pads and says they don t have the control arm.I was still on the phone and our friend says they told me it was in stock. I asked the guy if his computer showed stock but it was wrong? He said yes. Unfortunately, this happens but one more reason to check if someone is coming to get parts.He found the control arm at another store about 18 minutes away (and the wrong direction from my house) and I asked him to make sure they physically had the part in stock, not just on the computer.He made the save and was very polite about it (that s why rating is 2 instead of 1) but I feel like I wasted my time and gas which was the whole point of calling ahead in order to avoid that.

A lesser rating is more deserving. This store has gone down hill in the last few years.O'REILLY'S is a better choice for customer service, and conveniently located right next door.Don't expect any type of customer service on your vehicle at AutoZone, in the cold temperatures. They'll refuse, and did refuse.

This place has seen its better days. The store looked a mess and the staff that helped didn't know where everything was. Just go to the other parts store next door.

Found myself in need of a new battery on one of the coldest days of the year. AutoZone's employees were considerate, helpful and even smiled while replacing my battery in the cold weather. I greatly appreciated their service and highly recommend this store!

Very helpful and very patient. Even if you don't know a thing about cars these folks will help you. Also you won't have to worry about being sold things you don't need. My engine light came on in the early morning and I literally walked in the second they opened and needed all kinds of things and the people there was super nice!! I feel like if I would have been in their position, dealing with me, I would have been like... Bro just get out already!

Fantastic experience! My daughter, a student at Purdue, called at 9:30pm to tell us that her car wouldn't start. Being 500 miles away, we weren't in a great position to help. She had someone to provide a jump start, but had no way to ensure that she would be OK the next day. I called the closest auto zone, explained the situation, and Talitha said, "We will help her". I was extremely relieved. We took care of things over the phone. My daughter arrived about 2 minutes after they closed, and she was taken care of as promised! You can't ask for better customer care. I am totally impressed! Thank you, Talitha!

My wife brought wiper blades home and were wrong one's. Returned next day. Young lady was very professional and friendly. Even put them on the vehicle for her. Everyone makes mistakes, nice to see old school values at AutoZone when it comes to correcting the problem.

The service quality deserves a solid 10/10.I purchased a new car battery to replace my old one. My car is a niche car which has a very compact space for battery. Ryan ( if I remembered correctly) from Autozone helped me try multiple solutions and we final found the best one after 1.5 hours. It was a 20 degree snowy and windy day!!! I really appreciate his help. Big shout out to Ryan!

Absolutely incredible service here!!! I was experiencing what seemed to be a battery drainage issue and the gentlemen assisted me with sourcing the problem as a bad alternator. I would rate this a 6/5 star experience as they simply went above and beyond all expectations. They understood my situation and were very understanding and accommodating.A sincere thank you,Ali A.

Not impressed with customer service on the phone, was put on hold for 15 minutes, was able to drive across town and get into the store and find manager and associate just chit chatting not helping anyone, lovely lady that did help me, I appreciate the customer service but overall not impressed with the laziness of the staff

01/12/23- I stopped to drop off my battery to have it charged. Haley was working. She had finished with a customer and went to the register to help the next one. That was me. Haley was professional and knew what she was talking about when I asked her a few questions.I hope the people reading this will let Haley know she's doing a good job representing Auto Zone!

I completely understand during the pandemic why customers may be prevented from using the in-store terminals to look parts up themselves...I do look forward to the day this might be restored to have 1-2 terminals available for personal look-ups, especially when the employees are busy with other customers.

I went to them for help about 2 different cars. I had the awesome luck of get the same employee twice over the phone. He was super nice and very helpful. He wasn't like most that try telling you about products or anything that cost you more or you don't need he told me the actual name of the items I needed and even gave me help on a online search for a engine block. Thank you so much Dustin for your help and great customer service. He is definitely someone I will ask for when having to go here.

Dale R is the rudest person I have ever interacted with. He does not know how to treat a fellow human and will lie to you. His buddy Joe is just as worthless. I was told by Dale that if I bought the part I had a lifetime warranty on again that I would get a refund when I brought the old part in. (As any other autozone would do) When I bring the old part in Dale will only offer me a gift card and refuses to refund it to my card after telling me that it would go back to my card instantly earlier that day. I had to get taken care of at the Lafayette location because Dale and Joe are out to scam people.

Most of the staff here are extremely helpful. The managers have always went above and beyond to help me out with my auto parts. This AutoZone always gets my business first before I go anywhere else. If the part is not in stock they can usually get it the next day.

I came in at like 9pm when it was raining to buy a battery jump starter because my battery was dying regularly. Chris offered to instead perform a battery analysis and suggested I replace the battery to fix it for good. He then helped me find the right battery for my car and installed it for me on the spot, despite the late hour and the rain. He was such a life saver and a great guy. Thanks Chris!

Floor staff is mostly clueless managers included ..she was upset she had to come out of the back room to do my return then left and never returned when I asked why I was Given a merchandise card vs my money back ..all I got was sorry sir ..place is a joke

Quick and easy. Knowledgeable staff. Convenient location. All car knick knacks and fixed in a jiffy. I got my headlights fixed, 2 minutes :)One year fast forward: Cory H. was awesome. Went there to replace my car key battery. Helped changed the battery by opening my stubborn key up. If all stores had customer service so rad, the world would shine brighter everyday, one day at a time. Thanks Cory and Christopher for your awesome service.

It was great experience. Logan helped my figure out what is wrong with my car. It was the battery and the was rust on the hocks too. They replaced the battery and clean the rust on the cables and the car functions perfectly now. It was quick and good service. I highly recommend this branch.

I came in to have my battery checked. Cory was super friendly, and he answered every question I had! They didnt have the battery I wanted in stock, so they got it shipped the NEXT morning. I came in the next day, and Ed changed my battery quickly. I asked him what the Check Engine Light meant, and he tested to see. He explained what the codes entailed and what code of action to take. They were so helpful!
