The best service one could ask for! They fixed our car in a timely manner and the price was great, too! The car looks so nice! And, they even cleaned the interior! Very grateful for their excellent work!

My car started shaking on the interstate. I got to the shop right when it opened the next day (I recommend arriving a bit early). The staff was friendly and helpful. They fixed the issue, and I got my car back the same day.

Came here on a friend's recommendation after getting a new (used) Civic and needed a bunch of things.Got new brakes (carquest), a serpentine belt, an oil change (brought oil and filter) and a transmission drain+fill (brought OEM fluid myself) at a pretty decent price. The quote was lower than another mechanic I went to in the area plus they have a Purdue discount!While leaving the shop the next day it was cold out and my battery died. After jump-starting the car, they diagnosed my battery as completely dead and that I needed a new one. Got that installed (a diehard gold) in a few minutes at a fair price and was on my way.Also had a wheel alignment for new tires I bought the week before. A few days after I left, I noticed something was off a little and went back. They re-aligned the wheels for free and it feels great now.Think I'll be a loyal customer!

I called Automotive Solutions early on a Saturday morning while driving from Chicagoland area down to Alabama when our wipers suddenly stopped working. I called when I was 45 minutes away and they began looking for the parts then. By the time we got there they were able to quickly look and determine what the problem was. The service was quick and the two younger adults working in the front were extremely kind and patient with us and our two young kids while we waited. Extremely appreciative for their quickness and fair pricing.

The BEST auto repair shop in great Lafayette!!!Update: Aug.11th, 2023. I have to say, indeed the best. They just fix the noise issue on my car for free. What I thought was the suspension problem came out to be a simple loose plastic piece. The mechanic fixed it without charge. Wonderful people, great guys!Also, they have free WIFI and charging station inside.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

I am an Uber and this is my only mechanic. Best service I have encountered. Have been going here for more than 4 years.Waiting room sofas are comfortable, can charge your phone, has Keurig coffee available and the bathroom is always clean.

We were stranded with a broken down rental and they inspected it for free just to help us out. Can't guarantee they'll do this for everyone, but being willing to do this even once is just so nice. Great people, good at what they do, and clearly very kind.

I took my Chrysler 200 year 2013 model multiple times there and they were very accurate with the issues and sorted them out in reasonable prices. Jose is a nice guy to chat with and so his staff. I was impressed by how quickly my car was diagnosed and repaired at the shop. I broke down on a Friday and by Saturday my car was ready for pickup with good communication in between. The people in the shop were nice and Alex is obviously a very talented mechanic. Good, honest people.

Brought a 2011 Jeep Wrangler in for pre buy inspection. They got me in quickly. Kind and courteous greeting when I entered. They did a very complete pre buy inspection. Visual and driven evaluations. Took my car to a different shop where they told me an outrageous price and huge time delay. Called Automotive solutions and they were able to give me a way lower quote and fix it in a day. Super helpful!

They said it only takes half an hour to test my battery however it took 1.5 hours. Later, they said my battery had low capacity, and asked me to replace it with a new one. I said yes, and asked how long would it take for a replacement, they said just 20 minutes because my car was ready for a battery replacement. Then I waited for another 2 hours.Later I requested them to return my old battery to me, I tested my old battery elsewhere, it indicated my old battery was in good condition.Battery testing and replacement finally cost me around 350 dollars and a whole morning from 9am to 12:30am. If they told me it will take me 3.5 hours, I would go back home and do something else instead of just waiting there.Very bad experience.Service: Auto battery replacement

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I have received from your company. My car has been in your possession for over two months, and I still do not have a fixed vehicle. This delay has caused me significant inconvenience, as I have been without transportation for an extended period.Furthermore, I am highly dissatisfied with the exorbitant charges I have incurred. The cost of repairs has far exceeded what I was initially quoted, and I believe that I have been overcharged for services that were not necessary. Additionally, I have noticed that some items were added to my invoice that were not agreed upon beforehand, leading me to believe that your company is engaging in unfair and unethical billing practices.I had to wait for over four hours without anyone checking on me or keeping me updated on the status of my car. This lack of care and attention to customer needs is unacceptable and has left me feeling highly dissatisfied with my experience with your company.

Honestly, best and most honest shop in town. I will not take my cars anywhere else as long as I live in Carroll or tippecanoe county. Honest work, they don't over charge, they don't lie to you and say something needs fixing when it doesn't just to make an extra buck, and the staff is always super patient and polite to their customers. There was one lady today that came in yelling at the owner about issues with her car. He was calm, polite, attempted to reassure her, and the rest of the staff were professional and didn't get involved and let him take care of it. Everytime I go in, no matter who's working, they are always very kind and patient. You get quick service as well for how busy they can get in the mornings. Great place, great service from the staff to the mechanic work, and very knowledgeable people who can explain what's wrong, how they are going to try and fix it, and they can explain it to the least mechanically inclined person to where they'll understand whats going on. If you don't understand you can ask and they'll explain it even better.

Did a great job. Not sure why new thermostat didn't increase heat output. I believe exhaust as well as air cleaner reattachment needs to be gone over to ensure all is well.

I have been going to this mechanic for about the last ten years. I have recommended numerous people to call or stop up here. I have always got excellent work at a fair price, and have never felt like I was getting hit with unnecessary repairs. Jose also shares donuts with the customers sometimes. Great place, great staff, will go again next time I need any work on my car. Check out Mooz Motors also, same guy.

These guys are great. First, automotive repair is expensive, so don t complain about prices. Second, these guys are honest. I have taken 5 vehicles to them over 4 years. Every time, they treat me and my vehicles with respect. I have trusted them with new and old vehicles. They have quoted my $xxx.xx and ended up only charging me half when they realized they didn t need to charge what they initially said. When they did that, I decided to stick with them. They can get your car in and out quick, and if they miss something they own up to it.Transparency from a garage is hard to come by. Give them a try!

Car broke down an hour away from my destination, Jim s Garage ( amazing tow folks I had a husband & wife in the truck, super friendly and made it stress free) picked me up & took me to the Automotive Solutions and arrived around 3:30, they without me asking asked where I was going on a Saturday and offered to stay after (they close at 4) to get my vehicle fixed so my plans wouldn t be wrecked. They were fast efficient and super friendly. Great group.

This place is fantastic! They are very welcoming and helpful. Although they may be a little pricey on a few things, the service is definitely worth it! My car needed a new head gasket and they gave me several different options at prices and gave me recommendations on what the best plan of action would be. Would definitely recommend!
