I had mutliple items wrong with my car like the ball joints and the hub bearing and a lot more things and frankie being the fast worker he is was able to get it done in about 5 hours which is really fast for the job that had to be done. So if your looking for a good mechanic and reliable and good for your money ANDDDD even talking you and showing you what s wrong so know where your money goes, this is the mechanic that I would choose and is the best in my opinion

Hands down awesome work, very friendly and very reliable I would highly recommend to anyone for their future car repairs.. this was my first time using them I've used the same mechanic for 15 years and not was perfectly happy with them until they switched owners, granted they're still not horrible but just not the same. That being said I will be using these guys from here on it, Everytime I need any future repairs !!!

EDIT: I had Frank again. Great guy very timely. Very prompt. He came out and he talk to me about everything that he was doing and what was going on. He replaced my brakes with no issues and I plan on to keep using their service going forward.well, what can I say? They have really exceeded my expectations. Getting a hold of someone was rather quick and easy. And they came out when they said they were going to and right on time! I had to have my horn replaced, and they were able to replace it in under an hour and for a great price. I would highly recommend cool guys to anyone! They will not break the bank and they are extremely friendly and professional. I plan on using them again soon.

Frank came and fixed a hole in my tire and he came after being fully booked and he was already off work. He had such an amazing attitude and was so nice. I couldn t recommend a place more and I never leave reviews!!

DO NOT go to these guys. They aren't certified OR licensed. They broke my car FURTHER, denied it,, and refused to stand by their work. To begin with, the sent someone to fix my car that didn't know what he was doing. He had to call his boss to ask how to open the hood! TOTAL FRAUDS

Made an appointment, took off work to meet them, but they never contacted me. Reached out to ask where they were, got an excuse, and I made another appointment. They asked some basic questions, said they d check on something and call me back in 5 minutes and never heard back again.Not gonna waste my time with people who are incapable of basic communication. You clearly don t want my business for whatever reason, so I ll take my money elsewhere.

I've never left a review before, but I just had to for cool guys! I am a car enthusiast and love working on my car. I started working on some CV axle repairs when it got out of hand. Frankie came by and sorted everything out for me at a very very reasonable price. Everything about this experience was amazing. The prices he offered, his response time, his attitude towards the job and his pace. Would definitely recommend, especially if you're a student!Service: Steering & suspension repair

I was traveling to a friends place in West Lafayette and about 5 minutes out my 2007 Jeep Compass starting throwing a flashing check engine light as my engine was throwing a P0304 misfire code. With no other mechanics able to get me in until about a week later I decided to give Cool Guys a call.They were quick and responsive and gave me the assurance that the issue was going to get fixed. The problem was diagnosed very quickly and they knew what they were doing. The only slow-down during the process was obtaining the parts as they did not have the specific spark plugs or ignition coils on hand, however, quality parts were recommended by them rather than cheap alternatives.Once the parts came in the next day, the service took under an hour to fix the vehicle and they were able to give me a heads up of other problem/issues that were to be repairs next. Before I knew it I was driving back home no problems.They offer fair prices for the parts recommended as well as labor. If you are in need of a mechanic and do not want to wait weeks before other mechanics see you, Cool Guys is a great service!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Frank was awesome to work with and I can't recommend him enough! My car started making weird noises right before I was about to leave for thanksgiving break to drive 4 hours away. On a Saturday, I tried calling any mechanic that was open to book an appointment, but every place I called was booked out for 2 weeks. Frank managed to get an appointment for me at the last minute for the next day to replace my rear brake pads. While working on my brake pads, he found some serious issues with my rear CV axles and hub and bearings, which all needed to be replaced ASAP. He managed to do all those fixes a day later. My trip was delayed by 2 days but I'm still going to make it before thanksgiving and now my car won't be in danger of falling apart during the drive! His price was super reasonable and Frank was thorough, friendly, and accommodating during the whole process. I will definitely be going back here for any future car problems!

Frank got here and immediately was helpful. I couldn t get my car to crank at all and he came over messed with a few things and then messed around with my fuse box starter and next thing ya know my car was starting. Frank was very honest and didn t even charge me for a full diagnostic. Great guy and very helpful. Definitely will call again if I have issues.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Frank, a Mobile Mechanic with Cool Guys came out 38 miles from West Lafayette to service my Mom's vehicle. He replaced the blower motor and even had my mom test out the new motor before he ok'd it. He was highly knowledgeable and professional!! I highly recommend this company as it was the smoothest and best from the communication to the actual work being done. Great job Cool Guys!! Their experienced team pinpointed my vehicle's issue of engine losing its ground just from what I've told them over the phone. Excellent service!My car that has frequent battery trouble. They ran a full diagnosis to make sure all the essential parts were working, even waited while I drove around and recharged my battery to make sure it worked fine when I came back! Car broke down on 52. These guys not only showed up on time but had me going 25 minutes of being onsite. Replaced coil pack and eeplaced 2 blown plugs and got my old gem purring again!
