I had a tire destroyed by debris getting off the expressway and was forced to pull into Novak's. They were closed and hosting a child's birthday party, and the kind owners of this business helped me change my tire and get the spare on in 2 mins. Couldn't believe how kind and considerate they were. Definitely recommend doing business with these guys.

I was on my way from picking a vehicle up when the rear tire popped. Instead of stopping I decided to try to find a shop to replace the tire. What I didn t know was that I had a far worse problem. While I was slowing pulling the vehicle up the road I noticed Novak s auto repair and decided to give them a call. Needless to say he went above and beyond to assist and help me. If I stayed closer he would be my go to for any mechanical needs. I recommend this shop to anyone who might be reading reviews and in question of where to take your vehicle.Service: Steering & suspension repair

They did an excellent job at a great price! Got me in quickly, fixed my AC, did an oil change and replaced all my brakes. Explained prices before starting, showed me the worn out brakes. Very honest and fast service! They did an outstanding job! So glad I found them! I will definitely return here next time I need anything done to any vehicles I own. Highly recommend them! Joe Jr. even though they were not open graciously let my mother and I stop in to fix my mothers car by screwing on the under carriage cover. Doing it fast and efficiently got us back on the road for our 7 hour car ride. I would recommend them to anyone. They are a very kind family owned business.

Took my Ford F250 dump truck to them it running when dropped off needed a few things had issues starting once warmed up but now truck was given back to Me with all types of wiring issues as well as it will not start at all They had my car for over a year. I always called and they never called me back. I had to get to the point where I showed up at their shop just to get answers. Definitely will never recommend them lost money and time.

Excellent!I am always skeptical when there are few reviews and all 5 star. Novak s deserves it. Honest, knowledgeable, helpful.I didn t know what to expect, because the workshop doesn t look like anything from the road. BUT: I had called ahead, there was no wait, Joe did excellent work, and I am happy to have met an honest mechanic. Highly recommend!

My husband and I broke down on the I94, just two miles from the Novak's shop, late Friday afternoon (very close to quitting time). I called around and almost no one was able or willing to take us. I called Joe and he waited till 7pm for the tow truck to drop off the RV. He called the hotel to make sure we could get a room for the evening, and then personally drove us there! Working through his Saturday morning he had the water pump fixed by 11, and were were back on the road by 1. So many times people are worried about getting taken advantage by a mechanic, this guy is the real deal. He could have easily charged us more, he could have just turned us away, but he cared. I highly recommend this shop, they're good people who do great work, for a very fair price.

I sat in the garage while he worked and talked to his Dad. He saved me so much money than the dealership and did it in great time. Great service,great company all out great job. I highly recommend

My family was traveling to our cottage in Michigan. We were passing through LaPorte on I-80 and suddenly my car immediately stopped. Like everything stopped working! We miraculously made it over from the left lane, coasted down the ramp, and then coasted into a gas station. We were an hour away from home so I started googling auto repairs in the area. Several companies popped up but I noticed Novak s repair had 5 stars. I now understand why he got 5 stars. Seriously, Joe was AMAZZZING! I called him and he answers immediately and came to our rescue within 10 minutes. He ordered the parts right then and there and had us jumped to bring us back to his shop. We pulled into his lot and he began working on our car immediately. He offered us something to drink/eat and let my kids run and play in his backyard! This was all on a Friday at 11:00. He had us back in our car and on the road 3.5 hours later. He not only for us back up and running but he does high quality work. Our mechanic back home said this entire situation was amazing and unheard of. Joe far exceeded our expectations and didn t make this hiccup ruin our vacation! Thank you so so much!!!

Got a flat tire getting outta Chicago on 1-90. A shout-out to Hoosier State Farm Emergency Crew for helping changing the tire.Called Novak Auto Repair on Rte20, unexpectedly closed for today, but they were kind enough to answer the phone & give out places close by that may be able to help. I was buying a car out of state in South bend, and needed to get a pre purchase inspection done and these guys here were able to provide me with excellent customer service even with the difficulties of me being out of state at the time due to my situation. I would highly recommend.

We kept being told that someone was coming to do an insurance quote for our truck & they were always a no show, no call. We had another vehicle that also needed work done on it but after the horrible customer service, we took it to someone else. Wouldn't recommend them at all.
