La Porte In Main Mufflers has some of the best employees!! Took my car in for a light issue to have them handle it with utmost care and took care of me and explained what I was doing!!Kudos to the best customer service in our town!!!!

Younger lady at the front desk was nice so was the mechanics in the shop.Went in for an exhaust leak was quoted $320. fiFitting costs $30, the mechanic was trying to work with me on price. Older lady at the desk came down to $200. Asked if they could do better knowing the cost of the parts and labor, she just replies with LET HIM DO IT HIMSELF and walks away. No chance to discuss or anything.Workers were friendly, but given the ladys unprofessionalism I won't consider ever going back.Understand as a business you need to make money, but that's no way to treat customers.2 stars because everyone else was friendly and approachable.

I've been coming here for years for a few of my cars. The ladies at the front desk are always so nice when I come in.The mechanics are all well skilled and have always done a good job at servicing my vehicles.

I just talked to the front desk person about a free estimate because I have a leakage in my seal somewhere up around my windows and the last time I was in I had an oil change in the young lady told me that yeah they give free estimates, so when I called today to see about getting an estimate on what it would cost to fix my problem the woman says I don't know who you talk to we don't do free estimates and was very rude I said talk to people like that I will take my business elsewhere and I'm sure other people will too.

I went In first for leaf springs on a 4x4 sierra they did a great job even added my lift blocks for me. Second i went in a week later for an alignment. Although the alignment costed more than expected it was still cheaper than anywhere else I called and I have no complaints. John was great to work with he made sure that he answered every question I asked and made sure to take care of me through the whole process. Thanks guys I appreciate you and will be doing business again in the future I'm sure

We had a problem with our transmission on our Ford Escape. Thankfully we had a warranty. Main Muffler was AWESOME and worked with our warranty company and John fixed our car.I would recommend them to anyone who needs a honest mechanic to go there and get an opinion.We are very pleased with our service and will gladly take either of our cars there for major and minor repairs. Thank you so much John for all of your help with this.

I ve been going to Main Muffler for over 15 years and trust my vehicles to no one else! Renee as a customer service rep. Is caring and enthusiastic and just the sweetest John T. Is trustworthy, honest, and always looks after my daughters and my vehicles. He s very professional and always explains each fix that needs to be done. Definitely I will continue to have our vehicles serviced at Main Muffler Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment, Auto maintenance, Oil change

Brought our truck in to specifically to get the power steering distribution line replaced, they changed whatever they wanted to and said it's still leaking from the rack, "who would have thought" $1000 more to replace the rack on top of the $700 to replace the wrong line. Brought it directly to another shop, they had it fixed in 15 minutes for $120. Main muffler save yourself the reply we won't be back, and to anyone who reads the reviews, you have been warned. You will be robbed and set up for return visits to be robbed again at this place. They took no responsibility for work done wrong. Just wanted to charge more for there mechanics shady work.

Didn't wanna give address to get an oil change. Lady behind the desk starts yelling at me and kicked me out of the store. Absolutely rudest person iv come across in the past year. Don't bring your business here. And the lady at the desk would be fired if it was my business.

Just got my vehicle back and once again, great job and price. This is the only place Ill take my vehicles to be worked on. They only fix what needs fixed and always confirmed what is being fixed before just fixing it. I couldn't ask for a better place to do business. Thanks again Main muffler. You have my loyalty..

This place. The last time I took my vehicle in here was about 3 years ago and I had to take it back three different times for them to fix it right and each time got charged for it. I needed some work done on my brother's truck and every other place was booked solid. I take it to main muffler. Rotors and pads all the way around, $750.00. I started up to leave and it runs rough. Put it into driving about dies. They look at it again. Coil something. 161$. Then today something else is wrong, it won't start. The guy wanted an additional $35 to look at it. $70 to tow it and then whatever the repair cost would be. This place in Apex muffler are the two biggest scam artists here in LaPorte. Nobody can prove their scam artists, but they are. I know this is happened to other people before, you take your vehicle in and it ends up being three or four different things or wasn't fixed right the first time so you had to take it back. Let's put these people out of business. They charged too much, They are scam artists but do it in illegal and non-provable way.Service: General repairs & maintenance

It seemed to me that $35.00 was a little too much for removing one tire and putting another one on. No balancing no new valve stim I kept the old tire so there was no disposal fee. I already had the tire and rim off of the trailer.

My car had a timing chain issue. We called 5 places all with the price of $1200+, but this place was $800. The job was well done, the people were polite and courteous, and the prices are crazy low. I will be recommending this place in the future.

Mechanics are knowledgeable, courteous, professional. My brothers BMW had steering issue thought was power steering pump but not the problem. Part will be ordered and ready to pick up in a few days. Thanks

My check engine light was on in my 2017 Jeep Compass, an issue with the manifold...I took it in and John checked it and fixed the issue and only charged me the diagnostic fee, letting me know that he felt that what he did would resolve the issue...it did!! I appreciate the way they treated me and did not charge me for service I did not need. My late husband always took our vehicles to Main for oil changes, brakes, etc. They will always get my business!!

Took my car in to have the alternator replaced. They were professional, and completed the repair in a timely manner. Employees were great, and the prices are well within reason. I will definitely be bringing all my vehicles here in the future!

How ironic Quick Auto in Laporte Indiana sends all new buyers here. I predict Superior Protection Plan, also a bogus warrenty entity, will not cover repairs on my son's new car of a week. We will get a second opinion and an attorney. Google reviews, BBB, are very helpful...

They take care of everyone and price is very very reasonable. I have them do all the work to my vehicles and only them. And NEVER had any issues afterwards. They take the time to show you not just tell you. And they are great people.

Main Auto Care Mufflers in LA Porte, has exceptional service and integrity when it comes to servicing YOU the consumer and Your Auto. Friendly and courteous staff all around all the time. Service is available for new, not so new or just plain old cars.
