I bought a new mower recently and i had a great experience buying a zero turn cub cadet from north central outdoor power. They were so nice , and Profesional. They helped me pickout the right mower for me and got me financing. And i left with brand new mower. They filled the tank and dropped it off at my house the next day.for no charge. Thank you so much. I love my new lawn mower. Thanks guys.

Husband placed an order for parts, he was told they would be in next day and phone number confirmed to notify. We stopped to pick up and no record or paperwork of the order. He was told they would order but no timeline when part would be in. We need to get the yard mowed. Stopped at another local place to check and they had in stock. When I called to order I was told should have checked someplace else before coming in there and was hung up on. We won't go back.

If you know the owner you understand the 1 star. Unqualified staff except parts lady. Arrogant, rude, etc... had to walk out

My son bought a really nice used mower here and got one heck of a deal!. They've expanded their equipment now and stock Dewalt, Cub Cadet , and Echo. There were to many mowers on the lot to even tell you what he has. If you need a mower you need to go to North Central outdoor power!!

So...paid $222 the first time we took it there..it wasn't fixed properly so we returned it for them to fix...4 weeks later the bill is $900 more.I have a voicemail from Mitch stating that they got into the engine and they weren't sure what to do with it. Owner told us that it would be max...max $500 more.Never...never again, we won't be returning customers. And I paid $75 twice for pickup and delivery, even though it was their fault that it needed to go back. After a trial run, exhaust is bright red, tractor cannot be ran due to possibly damaging the engine further.Owner is only willing to refund the pickup and delivery fee of the second time.I'm not willing to give them my tractor a third time because I have been burned twice already.3/31/23 Update, tractor has been fixed by another company and the things that North Central stated that they changed according to their invoices, they did not actually change and yes I have proof of this on the new invoice from the company that truly fixed it. After another $700 spent, we finally have a useable working tractor. I am also out the $1050 that I had to pay to rent a tractor all last summer. Please take your mowers, tractors to McGavic in Kokomo, IN and do not put trust into this company. After all is said and done I am out $2922.98 for a job that should have cost about $700. And yes, I have proof of everything!

I called to have 3 units picked up and delivered. It was a 6 day turnaround including a weekend.I gave them a generator, a snowblower and a mower. 2 didn't run. Not only was their service prompt, but below estimate. When I need new equipment, I will go see this business!Service really counts in this day and age.

This company was the best from beginning to end. They answered and provided explanations to all my questions. They were super friendly both over the phone and in person. The purchasing experience was smooth and they provided extra services and offers I didn't except even thought we were already getting a good deal. I purchased a Ferris is700Z 52" deck and I highly recommend them for their products and service.

Took my JD in for fall service, was referred by someone at the Tire Barn, he said they serviced & stored his JD 300 for approximately $180. I took my JD mower in ,was quoted the $180 including storage on , around first of November 2018. Requested new blades , told the lady I wanted old blades back & would pay extra for genuine JD parts, entire kit is no more than $50 on Amazon. Was crystal clear that the price was $180.00 ,& wanted blades replaced, Old ones Returned to me. Received the Invoice 11/21/2018, along with SERVICE CHECK LIST OF WORK PERFORMED. Dropped by the Same Day to pay the bill, questioned why the price was much higher that quoted, another lady very aggressively told me the price had Never Been $180, ever. Was in a hurry, didn t want to argue, payed the lady that I d dealt with in beginning & asked for the old blades, she went to check , came back said they hadn t gotten to it yet.....didn t argue, payed the bill & left.....wondering why they would bill out b4 Work was completed March 2019 took my trailer to pick up, both women were there, asked for my old blades, questioned why they would Bill Out b4 work was done & why price was $293.63, plus wanted old blades. The lady that was aggressive the first time said they didn t Bill Out b4 Service was Complicated, she s a liar, I called her on it, as I have the bill to prove my point...she still denied it, very aggressive person ! I asked were mower was at, told to pull around back, found mower sitting, not washed, blades not changed, under mower deck not scraped. Brad came out, graciously tried to smooth things over, apologized , wanted to wash mower, I just wanted to leave, & wanted my old blades, he had the service guy look, They had not been replaced....I told him that whoever the aggressive lady in front had flat out lied to me, just make adjustment to bill, & I would leave. He checked found the new blades, put them on ASAP.. just a bad experience for me personally with the price & especially with Billing before work is done. Brad & the service guys were extremely helpful, but would never deal with the lies that I was told & can prove. My advice get EVERYTHING IN WRITING, & don t pay until service is completely done.

Worst service I have experienced. EVER!1. Picked up lawn mower for repair, never called with estimate. Whenever I called to check on it I was told "we haven't got to it yet, but are hoping to get to it today or tomorrow.2. Went in for a face to face since I couldn't get any answers over the phone about the status of my repair. Was told that it would be "about $100-$150" for the repair. Final bill was over $3003. After they had my mower for a week, the informed me that there was a pick-up/delivery fee of $504. When they called to set up delivery they asked how I was going to pay and when I said by CC they said that there was an extra fee for CC. I had already bought some parts and nobody every mentioned a CC fee.5. Dropped off "completed repair" and with-in the first hour of using it the belt came off four times ( they supposedly fixed this). Then the mower deck dropped on one side (again they supposedly fixed this). When we called back they told us that the reason the belt was coming off was because I didn't have a belt guard. They didn't have an answer when I asked why this wasn't mentioned when they had it in for repairs. When asked about the mower deck, they told me how to fix it myself. Nothing like finishing their job!6. Picked up the belt guard they said I was missing and the bill was around $30. When I looked at the receipt they charged $6 each for two belt guards and $2.80 each for 1/4" bolts to attach the belt guards. The belt guards were less than the bolts! I checked and I could have gotten the same bolts at Lowes for sixty cents each. All in all a total nightmare and I will never recommend them, not even to my worst enemy.

I purchased a mower, Cub Cadet right before Christmas of 2017. I was so impressed with the service and help I received with my purchase. I was very specific in what I wanted and Dee and Brad knew exactly what to show me. The price was perfect! We love our mower and the great customer service we ALWAYS get!

Exceptional, personalized service. Very knowledgeable staff. We bought a Ferris 3200 and will let you know how it mows. It is the smoothest ride I've ever had on a mower. The independent suspension and the amount of engineering put into this line of mowers is unbelievable.

Brad always goes above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. Recently, he worked with the manufacturer of my mower to extend the warranty to cover an engine problem I was having. This is the type of service that keeps people coming back and I will be a long term customer of North Central Outdoor Power.

Went in for a Cub Cadet Ultima ZT2 50 but because of the covid related shortages they did not have any. Brad spent quite awhile calling Cub Cadet and other dealers with no luck. He showed me several of the mowers he did have in stock and I ended up purchasing a slightly larger model of a different brand. Brad was very helpful and never pressured me to go one way or another. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Review edit:I returned my push mower the pull crank that was replaced had broken upon a couple of uses due to the pull cord being too short. They replaced it with another new one as well as a longer pull cord as promised. It is now in working condition.I'm glad they took care of it without asking for additional funds because it originally costed me more than i could have expected. The older gentleman that was the mechanic on the job was apologetic and fixed it within a reasonable time frame. ------ - ----------------------I had repair work done here, needed it done in a timely fashion.I felt as though it was kind of pushed off.I was quoted one round about price over the phone...Was charged twice that; including $18 for 3 machine screws.Paid more for this repair than I paid for the mower in the first place. If I would have known, I would have seekd other options before considering utilizing this particular business. The pull string installed was made too short and they offered to fix it but I didn't have time in my schedule. +I needed the use of my mower like a week ago...So I had to take it so I could go back to work and eventually use it at home.I will need to bring it back at another time for a longer pull cord installed. It cranked so technically they repaired it.But over all I'm not as happy as I wish I were.I don't believe I could recommend them to a friend.I feel ripped off to be honest.

Not impressed with customer service AT ALL! Im the person who believes in supporting local businesses instead of big box stores. Big box stores have stock a plenty but really lack in other ways. Well not in this case.Buying a self propelled push mower in Spring 2021 has proven very difficult. Most locally owned places are out of them because of COVID related issues.I went to NCOP and they had 3 or 4 available models of a brand I trust. I ended up purchasing a mower from them and had it at home for almost a week before I used it the first time. As I was mowing, I realized the mower I had purchased was sliding and not mowing straight at all my yard looked horrible. I can't imagine what people thought as they drove by.After googling some questions, I realized a rear wheel drive mower is best for inclines, uneven surfaces, obsticles like trees and corners. I had purchased a front wheel drive mower when I needed a rear wheel drive. I guess I should have looked into things before I went to buy a new mower. Asking what the customer needs are, which equipment will best fulfill the needs is just good customer service, a lot of the reason why I go to a locally owned business. Salesperson didn't ask and I didn'tknow to ask.I called and spoke to the person who sold the mower to me and explained my issue at about 10:30 the next morning. I was told I'll have to check with the owner. I cleaned the mower up and it really looked like new.About 30 minutes prior to close, (6 hours) later that same day, I called back and spoke to the salesperson asking if he had talked to the owner, no he hadn't had time to ask all day. I asked if they take trade ins and had another mower in stock, because I understand my mower was technically used. I was told they had a few, some 500s in stock that would suit my needs and to come in and he'd see what he could do. At that time, I was looking at coming in the next day. When I arrived the next day at about 10 a.m. there were no 500 series mowers, the only mower on the floor was a huge $1199.00 mower (with less than 200 hours on it, so it was used) which I wasn't going to buy because it's way too much for my less than 1/8 acre uneven Inclined yard with patio, planters and trees 30 minute mowing job.Because they had nothing for me to trade into, I asked what am I going to do about the mower I can't use. I was told something like, well, I don't know. That basically sounded to me like well, you bought it you're stuck with it, I'm not even going to try and work with you, too bad see ya and good luck! The salesperson said I'm sorry to which I replied well I am too. Which I hope the salesperson understood coming from me meant I will never bring any of my business to you again because you apparently don't value me as a customer and I will be sure anyone I know looking for outdoor equipment needs service or sales knows my experience as well.******What they could have done would have been pretty simple. First of all when they knew I was coming in to trade my equipment, so, put one of the suggested mowers back so it would be there. Second, offered me exchange of the mower for any amount of what I paid (even $100 of the almost $400 I spent) in a due bill for service, equipment, anything. I had let them know I understood my equipment was used. Everyone I've talked to about this thinks they should've just taken the mower back. But as I tell them, would you accept paying full price for a mower someone had used for 30 minutes as new and be happy? Probably not. What I ended up doing was looking at other local businesses in the area to no avail and going to a big box store and getting a lawn mower I am ok with. As for the one I can't use, I'll probably give it to someone that needs it. $400 LESSON LEARNED.

We had a small issue with some service, but Brad and staff made it right. I have used them for storage and service work and plan on doing it again. We all make mistakes. The real test is how a person or a business handles it. They couldn't have handled it better. Thanks Brad and staff.

Highly disappointed in recent service North Central Outdoor Power provided for my father. Not only did they charge him more than twice what he was quoted for work they did not complete but also loosened the bolts on the blades after he complained about price. The first time he went to use the mower after their service (only a week ago) the blade almost fell off and one bolt was missing.

I have meaning to write this review for a long time but the element of time does not allow . I want to Thank the souls at Out Door Power , a few years back I purchased A X caliber 66 in Cat Diesel from Brad and the folks there .I have not been disappointed once with this purchase . Mr and Mrs Zack at times stopped and help me get my mower going when I ran it out of fuel . At times I am not the brightest in the quiver . I have rarely had a issue with the X caliber . Mark the service manager and the guys in the back are ON TOP OF There game . My only complaint is that I should have bought two machines . Mrs Zack alway there for me for parts ,advice and just general questions . Very knowledgable ... Thank you so much .. Please put a vegetable stand out in font so I may get vegetable when I come in ..... Miss that in the country ... Respectfully , Edward Brian Dawson , Owner ,Morels on the Wabash ,Logansport ,Indiana

Drove from out of town to get the part we needed since they had it in stock, had called other towns with no luck. The ones I called said they could order it which I could do that myself but my husband wanted right away. Great service, very friendly!

Charged me $5 to fill gas tank. Said it was empty, but I gave it to them almost overflowing. Somebody made a mistake. Finished service on Monday, but did not call to schedule pick-up until Thursday.

Went in for a push mower and walked out 5 minutes later with a gassed up machine and everything that I needed to get mowing. Recommend a good ole cub cadet to anyone looking for a long lasting and well built product.
