My brother took his car to this place for an oil change. If he had told me he was going there I would have advised him to steer clear having had my car messed up at a Midas shop years ago. Unfortunately he found out for himself.While attempting to change the oil and an air filter, the mechanic apparently damaged a sensor. The car started flashing warning lights when he picked it up and started to drive it from the shop. After immediately calling them and taking it back, they said that they didn t know how to repair it. They told him to take it to the dealership, Thru said that they would reimburse him for the tow and any repair.The tow was just over $60. The repair was nearly $700, the car rental for two weeks while it was in the shop was around $750, and the initial work at Midas was around $180.Want to guess what the Manager agreed to reimburse my brother?$0. Zilch. Nothing.We re not even going to try to reason with this location. The management is apparently not interested in any reasonable dialogue. We re going straight to the corporate office and then to whatever consumer protection agency that will listen. This company s business practices need to be investigated.

LIFE THREATENING EXPERIENCE!!Took my car to get the front end inspected and an estimate for repairs. They said both of my rotors were warped and needed replaced. I had them checked elsewhere on a machine and they were fine...far from discard even. They broke one of my wheel studs and said they replaced it. They did say that our right front CV axle needed replaced and that was true. Husband and I decided to do the repair ourselves due to cost. We drove our car to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and back. No issues with the front end... however, we started noticing a horrible sound coming from the left rear and the car began feeling shaky. We got off of the interstate and stopped in a parking lot to check it out..... we were MISSING an entire wheel stud and the other four lug nuts were so loose that I could turn them with my fingers! My tire was on the brink of flying off!!! This could have cost my family's lives as well as those around us!!! I called to let them know what happened. The man told me to bring it back to them to get tightened...lol!! I guess I was expected to drive it for another hour and a half like it was. I told him "absolutely not! I will NEVER return to Midas again!" I called roadside assistance and got everything tightened up. Then I took it to RnR Tire who replaced my wheel stud for no cost.

I have been bringing my car here for oil changes for about two years now. I ve always worried about being taking advantage of at maintenance shops, but being a car girl, I can tell when I am or not. I ve walked out of MANY establishments because of being treated such way. NOT HERE THO! Honest, helpful, cool to talk to, they get work done in a timely manner. I just had to have my turbo replaced (right before Christmas) but they had me back in my car, on my way to work and to see family for the holidays in no time!! 10/10 recommend!!! These guys are AWESOME!!!

Took my car in for an alignment knowing the front tires needed replaced. Scheduled my appointment for noon and they didn t get the car in the bay until 1. They told me all the front control arms, the tie rod assemblies, and sway bar end links needed replaced. They were using a two foot pry bar to wiggle the components around and claimed they shouldn t have been moving that much they were barely moving. As an engineering student, I found it hard not to laugh at them considering they re using their entire body weight on a lever to apply a stupid amount of torque on things. Lucky they didn t bend anything or there d have been hell to pay. They told me they could not bring the wheels back into alignment because of how worn everything was. Got home, threw the car on jacks and looked for myself just to find that the bushings and ball joints could not have been any better without being fresh out of the box. I thought maybe they were just wanting to scam me out of my money considering the first thing the tech said to me was People have the money to buy these BMW s, but you probably can t afford to fix it can you? But this was not the case as they later flat out told me they wouldn t repair it. I can not recommend this shop full of clowns any less. Bunch of morons that don t know what they re talking about.

Everyone here has been great to me and my car. I brought my car in for tires and got the inspection, without them I wouldn't have been aware of all the things that needed repaired/replaced. So grateful of these guys. I've gotten estimates for services and they've done me right by telling me all that can be expected with the things needing done. They really do everything here. I wouldn't trust my car having service anywhere else.

Where do I start. 1st of all I've had my daughters car in there 3 times for the heat not working. $900.00 total later, and it still doesn't get hot, just slightly warm, and that's only for the defrost. It doesn't get warm at all coming out the regular front vents, and now the left turn signal won't work bc the radiator they put it in is drawing too much power and it won't allow the turn signal to work!!! They are now saying they can't do anything about that. So now I have to find a different place to fix what they've messed up, and I'm out over 900.00, not to mention who knows how much more to get it corrected!!

The mechanics at midas in kokomo are excellent..Jerry and the mechanics help me I brought a lemon trying to get a suv for 16 year granddaughter..Jerry was excellent kept me informed services n knowledge was again excellent. Thank you all.

Took my car there for an oil change and tire rotation a few days ago. They had my car for almost two hours and only charged me for an oil change.. now my car is messed up not sure what they did but I will not be coming back.

Cameron was very helpful from my initial call in to the shop to closing out the service ticket. He was able to get my car in and repaired the same day. He was also so kind to assist in getting me chauffeured to and from work while my car was being repaired. Every single person that I came in contact with at Midas today was extremely professional, honest, friendly and helpful from the technicians to the management team. I was pleasantly surprised and charged less than what I was expecting. I highly recommended the staff at Midas on Markland in Kokomo!Service: Steering & suspension repair

I would love to give 5 star review but my tires were not rotated as promised on the coupon. I know this because the tires on my right side had the missing caps still and the tire pressure showed that the pressure was still the same as when I went in to the store. They also had to be reminded to do the quick inspection to see what code came up for the light on my dashboard. I will use their service again but before I leave I will check to make sure the tires are rotated before I pull out. I was extremely pleased otherwise with the customer service! Excellent customer service. AMAZING tires for a fraction of the price in the area! Facility was CLEAN. Best of all they talked me out of what I thought needed done, by showing me on paper that my car did NOT need the work done! Stopped by today to get work done on my 2013 Nissan Altima and they were very professional and helpful with my needs. They even discovered some things wrong that I hadn't noticed and offered a military discount. I highly recommend this location if you want honest and professional work at a fair price

Very friendly, honest, and sincere. Took a little longer than I would have liked, 4 hrs for brake inspection and change, with a special needa child who has waiting issues, but they were very apologetic and sincere about it. will definitely use them again

We Took our 2022 kia Sorento for a routine oil change this afternoon, sadly we got our car back without oil! As i was paying my wife and kids drove away, i got into my car and before i even got out of the parking lot my wife was calling me stating her check engine light came on, along with her oil light and the vehicle has no power. Of course i tell her to come back now, as she pulled up i couldnt help but hear the horrible ticking due to no oil. Midas is taking full responsibility but now we are forced into immediately having our vehicle towed to kia in Carmel for damage assessment.. SIMPLY IM TELLING YOU DO NOTTAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!Service: Oil change

I took my daughter's car here a few years back because I was concerned the muffler was going to fall off. I assumed it needed the brackets replaced. Was told to leave it and they would check it out. Received a call 2 days later to come pick up the car and was handed a $2000.00 bill!! The car was barely worth that much. I had not received a call from them asking me about anything they were going to do or my permission to do so. Much of the work they did had recently been done at a reasonable price and was totally unnecessary. I've never been back there and never will.

I really don t have much to go on here because they inspected my car and said it was a problem better suited for the dealer. I wasn t charged for the inspection, which was great, and they were super friendly, which is always appreciated. Next time my normal shop is all booked up I ll give these guys another try.

Called around for a quote on a mid muffler delete. Most shops locally told me $65-$85 out the door. Midas quoted me $225.... It took a shop less the 35 mins to do the job.I paid a total of $70.CALL AROUND DON'T PAY MORE THAN NEEDED.

Midas Kokomo did a great job on my car. I had major issues that needed addressing. As someone not very familiar with cars in general, they took the time to take me out to actually look at my car to show me the issues, what needed fixed, explained every fee/cost in detail, with different options. I appreciated their patience and support! I would definitely recommend their team.

I have been here on a few occasions. All the gentlemen are extremely helpful. Each visit has been pricey for me, but they have always done what they could to help me in that department too! I will certainly be back and always recommend them.

Came in for a noise coming from the exhaust. After two hours, they had rotated the tires (why?), took it down off the lift, then said they couldn't hear anything and would I have time to drive them around the block to see if they could hear it. I would've gladly done that if they had asked me that in the beginning, instead of making me wait two hours to perform work that wasn't asked for. Here's a tip: if you can't hear the noise driving from the parking lot into the service bay, just tell me at that moment. Don't start doing work on it that I didn't want, and especially don't waste two hours of my time. I made an appointment, hoping that meant I'd at least have a diagnosis relatively quickly and then I could determine whether to stay or go back to work.Edit: I took it to the place right next door and they had found the problem, fixed the problem and called me back in an hour. And it was way less than I was anticipating. Thanks for the suggestion that I call customer service, Midas, but there's no need.

Quality work, never have to worry about workmanship. Friendly and fast customer service. Lifetime warranty on brake pads. And they never try to up sale. They tell you what you need and you decide what work is done. Finally, they represent their Veterans with a discount. Only place i will be taking my vehicles.

A great place to go...if u want to get screwed on price. Even as a single woman, I know that $600+ is way too much for rear pads & rotors, and machining my front rotors! But since my rear brake pad is now broken, I have to pay over $200 to replace the rear pads!Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Very professional group in Kokomo! Great manager; he is a great guy and has been managing a midas shop for around 30 years! He'll bend over backwards to treat you right. Prices are competitive but they always have great coupon offers for regular services. I've been taking my vehicles here for the last 18 years. They do great a great job and stand behind their work as well.
