The only place you should allow to rebuild your transmission. They have rebuilt a Honda Accord and an Acura TL of ours. We love Ross Brothers!! Highly recommended!

My transmission went out while my wife was on the road heading to Tennessee from Scherereville Indiana. This was the closest transmission shop and the reviews were not bad so we decided to have them fix the vehicle.That is where our nightmare begins.The commute was 3 and half hours from my house to the shop, that was not a worry because I never thought I would have to drive back and forth to the shop,So after they fixed my car, we drive 3+ hours to pick it up, get it back home, my mechanic says the front seal on the trans is leaking. So now I have to drive back for them to fix their mistake. I had to wait 2 weeks for them to fix their error.I drive 3+ hours to pick it up again, they don t have the key to my car, good thing I had my spare. They were supposed to mail my key once they located it, they said they sent it out, but we never received it and me or my wife have called them 10 times to try to get the key and have been told they sent it out Fed Ex, Us Mail etc.So you don t fix my trans right which causes me extra money, you lose my key which causes me extra money, and you can t even offer to replace the cost of the key that you clearly loss.This is lack of character and a business you can t really trust.Service: Transmission replacement

I waited a couple of months to write a review because I haven t had a lot of long distance driving since Ross Brothers replaced my transmission. I took my car here after it sat for 2 years waiting for me to save enough to fix it. This place did a fabulous job on my transmission. I feel like they were fair and honest. It was an expensive fix but I wanted it fixed correctly. There are times after I take it out of park that it doesn t want to get in gear but I honestly don t know if that is transmission or bad gas. Overall, I m pleased with my experience here.Services: Transmission, Transmission repair

Had a transmission fluid leak ... They didn't find out where. Didn't get fixed proper. Continued to leak.

Absolutely the best around!! This is stand up honest business. They found the problem with my car after being incorrectly diagnosed by a different repair shop. They came in $1,300 cheaper then the first shop quoted and had it done 2 days sooner then they originally told me. I absolutely recommend them to anyone in the Kentuckiana area.Service: General repairs & maintenance

This place is great. For anything transmission related, there's really no other place you should go. I needed a torque converter for my late '60s Ford C4 transmission, and after looking for one everywhere, I tried this place, and they had one on the shelf. Later I needed new return springs for my direct clutch, and ended up walking away with new springs AND a different direct clutch, just in case the springs didn't work. Any time I need anything with any of my transmissions, I'll be going here.Service: Transmission

They gave me a quote to fix my Clutch, stuck to the quote, got it done pretty quickly, and they were honest about what they did, and the condition of it all. They didn't pressure me into to buying something I didn't need. They are really good and trustworthy. Highly recommended these guys.

I have had many of our delivery trucks over the years here for transmission replacements and Ralph has always been great to do business with. The price was always fair and the trucks have always ran great after they get done with them. It may take a couple days longer due to them being so busy, but the quality of their work and the price is better than you will get with most other people. Do yourself a favor and call Ralph for a quote and rent a car for a couple extra days if you need to. The end result will be worth the couple extra days

Had transmission rebuilt and within a year started acting up again. They fixed that problem but then within another couple months had another problem. But the new problem wasn't under warranty this time so put more money into it, and then after getting that fixed wasnt even a week and it still acting up. Not worth the money after they "rebuilt" it to keep having so many problems

They had my car in the shop and back to me in no time. There was a slight issue but they was able to get it fixed very quickly and it was best price i could find to replace it. Definetly my new favorite auto shop!

I have a 2003 Ford Explorer. They worked on the transmission back in February. 8mo. later, transmission started making noise. They had to rebuild entire trans..... still under warranty. It took about 8 days longer than they said. But I was happy with no charge.When I picked up my car, they mentioned the wheel bearings were going bad. I agreed and they quoted me 5 days for the repair. 15 days later, I got my car back with it in working order expect they did not plug in the ABS sensor. But they corrected it.They did great work, but extremely slow.

We were 3 hours from home and the bushing on the shifter linkage went out on our van. These guys fixed it for us lickety split! We were so grateful. Highly recommend them!

I ordered a transmission pan for a 2009 Ford F-150 4x4 from Ross Brother and when I picked it and try to install it would not fit correctly. Took it back a found out it was for two wheel drive. Ralph called there supplier to see if they had the correct one in stock. This was on a Friday. He called me and said they had it and was waiting on the call to make for sure it was the correct pan and he would call when he found out. Ralph then called me an hour saying it was the correct pan and would be here Tuesday. My truck is on my mechanics lift while waiting to get the new (correct) pan. I called Tuesday evening to see if it arrived just to find out that Ralph received a call from his supplier after speaking with me that Friday that they did not have the pan and couldn't get it. I never received a call that he couldn't get the pan. Ralph said he lost my information and couldn't call ( but called me an hour before the supplier called him back) me to let me know. I am being charged everyday my truck is on mechnics and when I told Ralph if he would do anything to make it right he said NOPE real rude. He said they can't get the pan. They are a transmission shop and can't get a transmission pan for a Ford? I would not recommended you take any car to them. If they can't do paperwork correctly think what they will do to your car while working on it.

Friendly environment! Great service! I took my transmission to two other places before being referred to Ross Bros, I kept having problem after problem with the other companies so I took it to Ross Bros and they got my transmission running smooth again

Ross Bros Transmission Have been in business for years and there's only one reason why they are honest, and that my friend holds value in the wrold we live in today. Rest assured Transmission repairs are not cheap repairs however dealing with a honest shop is the way to go when you incurred a major or minor Transmission failure thades of knowledge.ey are the best in the business with deacService: Transmission

Ok so I drop my ford explorer off thinking it has a transmission prob, turns out my axle broke. It took them over 3weeks to tell me that yea my axel and most of the rear end needs fixed (both rear wheel bearings and all)qouted at $1793(with new parts). We tell them go ahead n fix it. So after a month of my truck being there they finally call and say it's done totalling $1993, but now the front right wheel bearings r making noise, it wasnt when we towed it there. I just wanted my truck back at this point so I goto pick my truck up, and the battery is completely dead. I tried to jump it, barely turns over. And the inside smells like gas real bad. Mentioned all this to guy at desk, he says nothing bout the gas smell but does manage to start the truck with a jump box. Get it home turn it off and battery dead again..ended up having to buy a new battery also cuz they let it sit so long. Youd think a paying customer of over $1900, could have atleast picked up their truck and it start right up and try to keep there inside from any mechenical smells! Ill never take my truck back there..And for sure wont recommend anyone else does.

They told me truck would be ready in 8 or 9 days to fix my transmission and rear-end I just picked it up on day 15. I called every day after day 9 to get an update which lead to them supposedly calling me back which did not happen and never once tried to compensate for my loss of time.

Took my van there 2 weeks ago and still have not got it back or got a call about any thing going on if they cant tell me what going on it to calling the police to get my van back

Had my trans the first time for a week, mechanic put it back in, no better then before, after I paid them, they then took 3 weeks to fix my transmission, because they already had my money, and it still shifts rough.

Called to get quote for transmission issue, based on recommendation of friend, was told would have to wait till 8th June before could get quote.
