I ve spent the last six years taking my 2017 Chrysler Pacifica to Sternberg s for regular oil changes and minor maintenance. They have always gotten me in timely. Most recently, they have provided top-notch customer service in addition to excellent technical service. I can t say enough good things about them. I really don t know what has changed, but over the last couple of years, they have gone from good to great! If you haven t gone there recently, I highly recommend checking them out!

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Help me with emergency flat tires 2 times. I get my oil changed here due to the great staff and great prices. Thank you Sternberg for caring about your customers.

Really not a very good experience this time had to wait over a week to even have my car looked at, just to tell me they couldn't find the problem & I would have to take it to a dealer. Also had to have my sister come & pick me up because they didn't have a loaner car. So I had to have my sister to bring me back to pick it up. So still looking for someone to fix it. At least they halfed the diagnostic test & labor so I only had to pay half of that charge. I live in Tell city so alot of miles traveled for what feels like nothing. Luckily it is drivable just feel like the problem will worsen if I keep driving it.

The bodyshop I work at down in Newnan Ga had a seatbelt on order from a local dealership for 2 months. Parts locater found one at this parts department. One call to the parts man at sternberg and he had a the seatbelt overnighted to me. Excellent service!!!

The owner of Sternberg's should be ashamed of themselves and their service department. Naturally I called the dealer when our truck needed extensive work. The truck was shifting hard and jerking all symptoms of the transmission. We were sure Sternberg would fix it the 1st time as they have diagnostic tools and what I believed to be qualified mechanics. As stated on there website they have highly trained technicians whose expertise allow them to quickly diagnose and repair the job at hand. The shop manager called and stated the mechanic drove the truck and knew exactly what the issue was, quoted $1400 parts and labor under the truck, nothing to do with the transmission. Of course we were happy with his diagnosis as we were sure it was the transmission. After picking the truck up, it continued to do the same thing, I would have thought the mechanic would have driven afterwards to make sure it was fixed. I called and told them we would be bringing the truck back after returning from vacation, we had only driven a handful of times approximately 50 miles. The transmission did indeed go out prior to taking it back, it would not move in drive , and my husband had to shift into 2nd to get home . I called Sternberg s told them the transmission went out, we would need it towed. Upon receiving the truck in the shop, without asking they changed a line, because they did not believe it was the transmission, this of course didn t fix it. They did utilize the computer to diagnose this time, which is why we took there tobegin with, it showed transmission issues. I spoke with service manager multiple time to voice my frustration not only because of the unnecessary tow bill had this been fixed properly the 1st time, but the other unnecessary parts, that did nothing to fix the problem. The last of about 6 calls he said they did diagnose with computer the 1st time, but did not write it down, charge for it or mention it. (if you didn t write it down , you didn t do it). The service manager says it didn t code the 1st time, I find that hard to believe as it had the same symptom the entire time. So here we are, paying around $2000 and no transmission. A dealers service department should be dependable and have integrity. Shame on the owner for allowing your service department to provide this type of service with no obligation to the customer when they have made very costly mistakes. No one has an extra $2000 laying around to pay for unnecessary services. Also, the service manager said when we called for the tow truck he would discount the tow charge, he also said he would discount the 4 hours of labor for the last unnecessary encounter, that did not happen either. We have filed in small claims court and will update with decision .

I will never do business with this company ever again. My company has ordered a fleet vehicle through them and they have made this the most long drawn out process it possibly can be. There are many other car dealers that will do a heck of a lot better than the people that work at this place. If you do decide to do Buisness here I would highly suggest you bring a phone charger and a snack because you will be waiting around for a while.

Alex and Ben in the sales department are awesome to deal with! Always answering and returning calls! Everything you want from a sales man is there! Very good guys! If I owned this business they would have received a sweet raise from me! Guys like this keep places like sternbergs in good graces! I will be sending people to them!

Crooks they charge more than the national average on labor by like 6 hrs a job so your 100% extended warranty with a 100 .00 deductible ends up being 6 or 7 hundred dollars call do your homework before taking anything here I'm stuck because now if I take somewhere else I gotta pay the 250.00 diagnostic so yeah horrible place

Would not recommend this place. I will be sticking with Berg s or Ruxer s from now on. I just took it here because I have a Jeep. When I first took my SUV there for a scheduled appointment because my battery was getting drained overnight, they never called to update me, so I called them about 5 days after my appointment. Come to find out it was done. I was told that they couldn t find anything wrong with it and didn t even work on it for 30 mins. I pay and go out to my car, and it still isn t starting. I go back in and drop my keys off again. They were just going to jump it and send me off on my way. I was not okay with this as something is causing my battery to drain (I had already replaced the battery before taking it in). About a week goes by and I call them for an update, again. They have to order a part. About another week goes by, I call for another update. The part is in, but they still haven t worked on it. They said they would call tomorrow morning with an update. They never called, so I called them. They told me that they won t be able to work on it for another week and a half. Week and a half goes by, no update. I call them today for an update and surprise surprise, STILL NOT DONE. They ve had my SUV for about a month now to replace a fuel pump that may not even fix the issue

It was a nice experience going here. The guy that helped us was very friendly and showed us a good deal. Even though we didn't get approved it was good experience because they treated us with respect the whole time.

I wish I could leave less than 1star. I had the electrical system worked on. It took 2 days in 2 separate weeks (waiting on a part), and failed 3 days later. Every warning light on my dash was flashing, and then my headlights joined in and flashed too. I was over 40 miles from home when the flashing began. And their service department head was less than helpful. Don t take your vehicle to Sternbergs.

We were traveling home when our van (2008 Chrysler T & C) broke down near Jasper, IN. I stop in Sternberg Chrysler to have it look at. They diagnose the problem as solenoid in transmission. Told us they would not be able to work on van till Thursday which I total understand. They started working van sometime Thursday. I never received a call or update about van until I called late Thursday afternoon. That's when I was told the mechanic had to leave and van would be finished till Friday morning. Friday I never received call about van being finished. I called about 9:30am and was told van was done. The reason for my low rating is because of their lack of communication. The mechanic did fine job fixing transmission van ran great going home.

Went in to have a tune up and they basically took my money didn't check my transmission fluid which was the main reason for going to them and lost out on my hours because they didn't have my car done in the time they told me

Sternberg was very helpful during my breakdown on a long road-trip. They were able to squeeze me in the next morning and got my issue fixed within a few hours. Repair seems solid and my Jeep is still running great, even after 1500 more miles in a few days.

Took my truck in was supposed to be a one to 2 day job. They had the truck for about a week, didn't do half of the work requested. On top of that I was overcharged twice on the same visit. Check your receipts if you dare to try this place out. Wound up having to finish the job myself.

My ex husband was having overheating issues with his jeep on Monday 7/26/21, so he heads to Sternberg. They have him make an appt for Wednesday 7/28/21, to replace waterpump and service oil change. On his way to appt from Louisville Kentucky (dealing with family issues) the jeep decided it had enough and broke down between Corydon and Leavenworth exits. He calls sternberg to let them know, so they send a wrecker (little less than $300.00 for this service ). They get jeep to sternberg and now there is a warranty issue, so evidently this takes us up to Friday evening now. What irked me the most, you now call at 450PM and say it's done, when we are having supper. Oh ok we are on our way, oh no sir we are closed, you will have to pick it up Saturday, gave us no hours to pick up. Thank God we called back because they (the finance dept) closes at 11 am. I would have been fit to be tied if I arrived after hours Saturday. This is not counting the numerous times he was asked if he still wanted the oil changed and serviced. So here we are $1019.68 later. He was not offered a loaner to get around for these 3 days of no vehicle, so I was a taxi service, hard to do when I have to work myself. So I'm very disappointed in their service, lack of communication and no assistance on their end except the wrecker service, which didn't hurt them any. I will never use or refer them to anyone.

I had an absolutely amazing experience working with Sternberg Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Jasper Indiana. Jay Maxey in particular has been extremely helpful in my search for the perfect Ram Promaster to convert into a custom camper van. I highly recommend working with him!

Went in for an oil change and to have my brakes looked at in March. My car had started having brake trouble and would shake anytime I used them. The oil was changed but the brakes were not fixed. Had to go back to have them looked at again and they were finally fixed. I was told that it would only take a hour and a half and if it was going to take longer I could borrow a loaner. Three hours later I was finally offered a loaner and told it would take two more hours. Between that, the loaner with the messed up gear box I was given, and the uncomfortable comments made about my age, they will not be receiving my business again.

Super friendly employees who helped out when my appointment didn't show up in the computer. Didn't charge for labor when they couldn't figure out a solution and helped me figure out the actual problem.

Do not buy extended maintenance from them. Was quoted "not our problem" . Getting a refund if you do not use it, they will not help you because they have made their money from you. I have bought 3 dodges from them but will never go bac . Their accountant told me that it would be a full time job to worry about customers maintenance polices. Now there is great customer service NOT

Where to even begin. Long story short walked in to purchase a $65k truck and the entire transaction was a mess. The salesman ended up being fired over the deal and we then dealt with a manager. Now every time the truck is taken in for service there's an issue. Had to pay $200 for something that was under warranty, the first time the truck was in there. Cut wire on the bed from install was somehow our fault. Mind you, this is a brand new truck. Now entire electrical system from bed is messing up. I don't understand how this place is still in business. This will be our last deal with these place ever again.

Been sitting here at there service department since 10 am it's 1:10 PM now all for them to put a starter on. Car has been in there since 8:30 am. I have replaced starters before and I know it doesn't take more than 30 minutes to an hour depending on how hard it is to get to. This is the worst place to take a vehicle for any type of service. I shouldn't have to pay for some moron that doesn't know there job.

Typical old style dealer. Not particularly great customer service. Though I've been here about a dozen times, I don't feel they enjoy their job or serving their customers. They do typical dealer service though and will probably fix your problem, you just might not feel it. Many other dealers provide the same and better service, but you'll be Jasper going somewhere else most likely. It isn't that they are rude or treat customers poorly, it is that they don't engage customers or make them feel like they are being served. Hard to get into service for routine work too. Even an oil change takes an appointment for a couple days out most of the time.

Came from out of state to buy a used vehicle. Salesman (Ben) knew I was very picky and did a great job of identifying any defects or issues with the vehicle over the phone. We were able to negotiate a fair price over the phone with the caveat of "If its not exactly as you've described, I'm walking away with all of my money". Vehicle was exactly as described. Paperwork was a breeze.

Andy was fantastic, he came to change my tire that 4 other people could not get the lug nut covers off of. He was kind, professional, and did the job quickly. I would highly recommend this company!

I have had many bad experiences at this place. They have lost my business. I have my warranty through them and purchased my vehicle here so I took it here for service, etc. They are very rude in the service department. They have awful customer service. I do not recommend coming here for service if you don t have to. I have given them plenty of opportunities to show me maybe they just had a bad day or week. However, that was not the case it turns out.

Took my 2018 Journey in for a problem, Uconnect would not connect with my phone. I talked to the receptionist and she said it was my phone. I explained I had bought the car the day prior and the car had been paired with my phone. She still blamed the phone, I then talked to service, they said it was my phone, the receptionist then yelled over the entire lobby, "That is what I said"!!! They had not even looked at the vehicle. Then they proceeded to take care of other issues and ignore me, I insisted that it was not my phone, the service tech finally came to look at the car and it did not connect when he tried to connect the phone. The service tech then did something else and the Uconnect finally kicked in, still giving me problems but I will not return to that place.

Purchased two vehicles from dealer and besides Danny, have had a bad experience. All of my service on four vehicles that I have that are Chrysler or Dodge have been worked on here. Watch the deals that they try to offer you and make sure that you check all paperwork so that you're not getting on the wrong end of the deal. Some information is held. The review Score says it all about this dealership.
