I will steer away from Jasper Transmissions, in the future. My current Jasper Transmission (in my minivan) lost 2nd, 5th & 6th gears after 76,000 miles. Unfortunately, this was 3 years & 9.5 months after installation, which means it s out of warranty. I spent thousands of dollars on it (in addition to regular maintenance), thinking that I was ensuring that our family vehicle s transmission would outlast the rest of the van. I will now be giving thousands to another transmission company, hoping that it is more reliable than Jasper s production #650447.

Found them very difficult to deal with. I own a small business and needed a replacement transmission. I got a quote and committed to buying. Go to the process of paying: they don t accept Amex. No prob, I ll use a debit card, they can t accept this because it s a personal card. No prob, i say i can send an ACH or wire. I wait for request via email, it never comes. I call back, they say I ve got to prove i own the business. I send Sec of State letter and business articles of organization. I wait another week, call multiple times and email w no response. Finally give up and pay 30% to buy new from dealer.Never had so much trouble trying to pay someone $11k. Won t try again.

I have an automotive facility and trust Jasper Engines And Transmissions to provide my customers with the highest quality re-manufactured units available. I have also toured their facility and was amazed at their dedication to quality in all that they do. Customer service that can not be beat.

I have had a pleasant experience with Jasper! I had one motor fail on me (rear main seal, valves ticking and leaking coolant), but when I called about replacing there was no hesitation and the new motor was in the next week. This one is bulletproof and has not had ANY problems what so ever, just be sure you get the premium service plan!! There are mistakes that happen, for me it is all about how you go about fixing it, jasper went a step further than AC delco or Goodwrench would have, Thanks guys!

Really enjoyed my visit to all the Indiana facilities . It was very informative and helped me to understand the process, time, and dedication put into each component in their product. This will help me, as a dealer, to communicate more clearly to our customer base.

I've been in business for 20 years. I have always bragged to my customers about how great Jasper was. Key word (WAS), now I'm not even sure how they are still in business.

The BEST customer service experience I have ever had. Everyone I have dealt with has been super nice and very knowledgeable! I had an issue with a transmission that was purchased from them and their warranty is top notch and fully transferable. I will for sure purchase from them again in the future and recommend them to everyone I know.

I want the HR team to know that you have a recruiting staff that watches. To all the people who apply with potential, it would be a threat to personal growth. I speak for myself, I applied 2 months ago, speaking two languages, with studies in Florida, and he didn't give me the job for no reason... where my family is recently. Arrived in Jasper Indiana and a relative of mine applied and they interviewed him and she told him that the email said that he did not qualify, when that was not said in the email sent on the 10th and his interview was on the 13th, it seems that he did not know how to read the email where he went the following day and they told him that they were waiting for the supervisor who interviewed him that he was on vacation but it is not so much that at 9 at night she sent him a message saying that he was not hired that last from Ethics and formality has as a company, let's see, that's why we have the power, people who are not prepared to handle the qualification of personnel for a company, I hope someone can read this message.

Jasper won't directly talk to me about the engine, after paying 8k dollars we don't even know what they will or won't ship it with. Was purchased and was told it's on back order, than pushed off again. Sent the computer to them only to be told they couldn't handle the package they sold us, had to send it off to have another company fix their problem. Very poor customer service care and lack of communication. I'd rather go through the hassle of a new vehicle than this company ever again even if I have to get a second job for the security of my personal safety in a vehicle and its drive train.

Don t plan on actually using your car after purchasing a transmission. Had it out of the shop for 16 days before a major breakdown 500+ miles away from home. Towed it to a certified jasper tech and stated it was a transmission issue. Tried to navigate Jaspers unfriendly and unhelpful call line and was told they couldn t give an estimate on how long it would be and the only thing they could offer was $35/day for a rental which won t cover half of what it will cost to return home let alone the return trip back to get it. Jasper was unbothered by the fact that I am now stranded with my family with no means to get anywhere and no timeline for anything. Worst customer service I ve received.

Been installing Jasper products for years. Best products on the market!! Best customer service and warranty in the business!! Just went on the tour of their facility. Phoebe is a great tour guide and the tour was impressive. Finished the day at the go cart track with dinner and refreshments. Would recommend them to anyone!!

This company is truly amazing. I was totally impressed with my whole experience touring the Jasper Engines and Transmissions plants. I absolutely loved how they test EVERYTHING before it's put together and after everything is assembled. It looked like it would be a very enjoyable place to work with a clean work environment. The Jasper tour was absolutely awesome including Stacy who showed us around, she was very knowledgeable. I'm so thankful for the opportunity to visit Jasper.

Zero stars should be an option. Took 3 weeks to get the first new engine, they didn t build it right, then took 5 weeks to send my repair shop another engine. I went a month longer without my vehicle due to Jaspers negligence and they refuse to give any discount or refund. Maybe you guys should edit your mission statement to reflect your true actions. I m not impressed with your quality assurance, not impressed with your customer service.

The tour was great from start to finish! The company pilot and our rep greeted us, with breakfast. At the plant it was obvious they appreciate their customers. Everyone I met was knowledgeable, pleasant, and willing to share their expertise with you. The conversation at lunch was enlightening and entertaining. Were able to watch several repair techniques I hadn't seen before, and can explain to our customers why the Jasper solution is the best way to go. Thanks again for an outstanding day away from the daily grind.

Having been in the heavy duty service and repair industry for many years, I ve always gotten very mixed reviews about Jasper. I decided to give Jasper a chance to earn my business a few years ago with replacements for Cummins and their constantly failing VGT turbos. I also gave them a shot(once) on a Cummins HPFP. The HPFP was DOA out of the box. Recently, we got a rebuilt 4L80E transmission from Jasper as well. The transmission makes a loud noise straight from the crate, so I m certain it will fail soon. What I can share is this: we have installed multiple components from Jasper, and across the board they have a 57% success rate. This is the success rate immediately upon installation. Not long ago I spoke with a rep from Jasper about a VGT that arrived with a bad actuator. Jasper has a policy of if the part or any part of it is defective, they just send you a new part. This sounds ok, unless installing the part is a 4 hour plus job. With a basically 50/50 shot of their part working right out of the box, it really isn t worth it to use Jasper. Had they sent me a new actuator to put on the turbo, I could have had the vehicle back on the road in about 30 minutes. Since they refused to work with me, (and the rep was extremely condescending and rude,) it was time to replace the turbo yet again. They won t cover the labor cost, so it s just lost production and inefficiency. I ve tried and tried to give them the benefit of the doubt over the years, but I have zero faith in their product or company. Avoid them at all costs would be my recommendation.

We have been using Jasper products for more years than I can remember. From the initial phone call of inquiring about a engine or transmission to the purchase and delivery of a repaired vehicle makes my job so much easier and enjoyable. Jasper has been a excellent business partner,friend and mentor like no other. We can install their products with confidence and pride knowing they are getting the best quality and dependability in the automotive industry know today. Been using jasper for about 10 years, They have always taken care of warranty issues in a timely manner the few times I have had them. I have been to many different machine shops in our area and can safely say after seeing Jasper's plant that no one in my area has the equipment or testing procedures they do. Everything mechanical can fail, even new parts. Most of the bad reviews for this company are shops trying to blame poor installations on Jasper or people not following the warranty. Get a good reputable shop to do your work and they will have no problem dealing with any issues that might arise.

Our shop has been an exclusive installer of Jasper products since 1998. We had experienced the products from the competition prior, lured by their lower prices and burnt by their lack of integrity as well as excessive warranty issues. We simply can't imagine a better alignment for our company. We highly recommend Jasper Engines and Transmissions products to anyone looking for the best quality backed by a real warranty.

I own a shop here in Plano Tx, and have installed many engines over the last 27 years. Engine replacement is a large job by any reasonable persons standards. There is many things that can, and do go wrong. That is why when you choose an engine builder, you really need to understand what you are getting. Jasper focuses on high quality products, and so do we. We stand behind our work, and I am glad to report that Jasper does as well. I recently had an issue with an engine replacement, and that issue was not discovered until the engine was completely installed into the vehicle. The issue required a complete re-do of the engine replacement. Jasper stood behind their product, accepted fault, and paid me the 20 hours it took to re-install another engine. They felt so strongly about their error that they even paid me my normal shop rate of $110.00 per hour. Jasper has re-stored my faith in their product, and I wont hesitate to use them again. As a matter of fact, I ordered another engine from them this week. Thanks Jasper, you really impressed me.

I recently visited the Jasper Engine and Transmission plant. I have always been impressed with quality of their products, the reliability of the warranty offered and the excellent customer service. Visiting the plant did not disappoint. They were friendly, the plant was clean and the process was impeccable. Impressive!

I don't normally leave reviews, but I feel that anyone who is looking at using Jasper needs to know this.We bought a re-manufactured transmission from Jasper for my husband's 04 Ford(problem #1) Ranger. Once the transmission was in place and the truck was driven down the road, the truck started jerking. Had it diagnosed and it was the torque converter that they sent. The shop called about it and Jasper chose to send a whole new transmission. Here comes the part that is the most aggravating of all.. The bill from the shop was $1100.00, but Jasper only covers a certain amount of labor cost. So after coming out of pocket with the $1100, following the initial $2300 we spent to buy the transmission in the first place, Jasper is only going to reimburse us about $600. When my husband contacted them, he was told it was his fault for choosing the shop that he chose and that he knew it would be that way from the start.While, no, they didn't do anything outside of what was in their warranty paperwork, and the smart butt in customer service was technically correct with his snarky remarks, IT'S A BAD SYSTEM!!! We didn't plan on Jasper sending us bad product from the get-go, otherwise we would have certainly looked more closely at the details within the warranty. Instead, we are stuck paying a bill for labor on something that never should have had to go back to the shop in the first place!!!! Won't deal with Jasper again!!!!

I have worked with several Jasper engines and am super disappointed! One truck had three jasper engines go bad in less the 100,000 miles. And upon inspection of the least of these three we recovered the rod bearings were severely flaking off. On another truck one arrived full of shavings inside and was sent back.

We have sold Jasper engine, transmissions, differentials and transfer cases for 16 years. These folks not only produce 1st rate products but they are professional AND pleasant to work with, they stand behind their products and their prices are very reasonable. We have rarely, if ever, had a problem with any of the many remanufactured parts we have bought over the years. Their technical service and help is also invaluable. Jasper blows away the competition at every level.

I took a tour of Jasper engines and wow! What an operation, they leave no stone unturned when it comes to remanufacturing power train components. I was thoroughly impressed. I had no idea the depth they went to make sure the customer has a quality product. You know when a company has an excellent employee retention ratio, it's a company that stands behind their product, and do everything they can to make sure their customers are happy. I will use Jasper products if my car needs it in the future.

I recently was invited to take a tour of the Jasper engine and transmission facility in Indiana. I was so impressed with how much pride the employees had in there work. Now I can give my customers some insight of what I saw and learned while I was there. It makes me proud to sell their product and stand behind it. I highly recommend Jasper products to all my customers and anyone else who is in the market for a new engine or transmission.

After my Jasper tour, I have a new appreciation of how hard these employees work for their company and their own goals. The organization is a streamlined masterpiece of years and years of improvement on their own process. The result is a product that the entire company from the employees, to the management, to the sales team can all come together and show pride in. And, a quality level that is high because of the internal checks and balances that every successful business requires. I believe that this company strives for perfection from the beginning to the end.

I was amazed at the sheer scope of Jasper s operations. They stay on the cutting edge of efficiency and newer technology. The quality of their units has only gotten better. I will always recommend Jasper remanufactures units before others because of how they stand behind and improve their product constantly. Thank you for the tour of your outstanding facilities.

I am a Jasper installer and have had great success out of their product! True, once in a while, something will go wrong, but that will happen with anyone. Customer service is great if you do have a problem so it is definitely a good investment.

I have run a transmission shop for 37 years. I have used Jasper for about ten years regularly. Generally no problems and when there is they jump right on it. Mr Ron left a bad review, said the Ford dealer charged him 4200.00 to install a warranty unit. 20 hours @ 100.00 equals 2000.00, who authorized 4200.00, maybe somebody was a sleep at the wheel
