A great shop that is priced well and got the car in and fixed quickly. Very helpful when trying to fix an old car on a budget. Itemized the most important fixes and helped a mom feel safe giving my son his first car to drive and BE safe...... Thanks so much! You will be our go to shop for any future repairs!

I always have a good experience at West Side Auto. Justin does a thorough job of explaining the problem and gives me the worst case scenario of the cost, not knowing the full extent of needed repairs until they take things apart.So far, the true cost has been much less than the worst case.Brittany is efficient and very niceI highly recommend them.

My car window would not roll down. The dealership wanted some astronomical price just to diagnosis the issue, I chose West Side Auto Care instead. My first time having my car serviced here and I will say I was impressed with the price and the thorough explanation of my repair verbally over the phone as well as on my repair order. I will bring my car back here in the future. I felt the technician was very honest about everything I asked and provided a very concise explanation. I appreciate the honesty and fair price.

Justin fixed my car in 2 days (slave cylinder/clutch) which was much sooner than I expected. They quoted me higher than it ended up being by a decent amount. They performed more work than they said they were going to do (cleaned and lubed up all the linkages between the shifter and the transmission, fixed my knob from rotating). Justin even called me 2 days later to make sure everything was running smoothly. I have never been this happy with a repair shop before. Excellent job guys, really. Thank you.

They got my car running sure, but they left me with an overtightened serpentine belt, missing valve cover bolt and a leaky head gasket. Even though that's what I brought it in for. They also took almost a week to do it. I would only suggest this shop for regular maintenance. ( So, in other words, things you can do yourself.) Then when I went to pick it up they made sure to tell me "It's safe to drive." Safe to drive was not what I asked for.

I would HIGHLY recommend this business for any work you need done on your automobiles. They offer excellent service, excellent communication, very affordable pricing (I'm not sure how they do it!), and honest advice. It is truly a good feeling to know that you have a mechanic that will fix any issues you have (and ONLY the issues you have), and will also recommend when things don't necessarily need done at the time. I used to work on my own vehicles, but refuse to do so now, because I have found an excellent auto shop that knows what they are doing! Get it fixed fast and without any hassle, and at a reasonable and appropriate cost. My wife and I have come to West Side Auto Care since it s days a Such s. From flat fixes to routine oil changes and troubleshooting they ve always taken great care of us at a great price. The staff is friendly and communicative and get the work done. It s a nice locally operated shop, which I ll always choose before another chain every time. It s nice to have good people to turn to when your car makes a bad turn.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Tire rotations, Vehicle Inspection, Auto maintenance, Oil change

I've been taking my cars to West Side Auto Care for several years, since they were Such's. Same great service and honest pricing. They never recommend work that isn't needed, they charge a fair price, and most importantly, they have a great list of referrals when the work your car needs is out of their wheelhouse - I TRULY appreciate that they don't just "take a crack at it." They were my first call when I needed work on my 2012 Prius v, and they're my first call on my 1994 Lincoln.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Oil change

I was recently referred to West Side Auto for an issue with my air conditioning on my 2013 Toyota Camry. I had gone to a place in Plainfield,, that I had patronized for decades, but wanted a second opinion when their estimate came in over $1400. The staff at West Side Auto are not only friendly, but they are also very knowledgeable, when it comes to automobiles. They assessed the situation with the air conditioning unit , and discovered that it did NOT need to be repaired, it was only low on coolant. Needless to say, the $201 fee from West Side Auto set better than the $1400 quote from the other place. I offered a $40 cash gratuity, but it was politely refused. I highly recommend West Side Auto Care for all your automotive needs!!!!Service: Air conditioning

My family has been using Such's since they moved into the old vacant gas station adjacent to the Chapel Hill Shopping center. My Father and Mother took all their cars there over the course of many years with good results. My Father would recommend them whenever someone mentioned they were looking for an honest place to get their car service. Mr Such was the man. In the past, I have had multiple vehicles serviced there with good results. I subsequently moved out of the area so I have not used them recently and not since Mr. Such retired. My Mother still lives near Such's so I took her car to Such's to get the battery checked, since that is where their cars had been getting serviced for around two decades or so. I went into the shop and started speaking to the young lady at the desk. A young man interrupted and said "what do ya want?" Like I was wasting his time. It was late in the afternoon but at least an hour before closing time. I explained the issue and the young man said they could not get to it, and "They weren't taking in walk ons." Or something to that effect. Thinking he meant not today, I said there was no rush, I just wanted to drop it off and could pick it up at a later date. He then said they would not be able to even schedule an appointment until October 17 and made no effort to ask if I would like to bring it then. Finally took the hint they did not want my business and left. To anyone I have recommended Such's to recently based upon how good it was when I was a regular customer and the experiences my parents had when Mr Such ran the show, I apologize for recommending them to you. Sure I can find someone who would be happy for my business. What a disappointment to get treated like that by that rude employee after years of patronage.

I have been bringing all my vehicles here for years. Its now called west side auto care. Even though the name has changed the quality of work has not. Excellent service friendly faces and they go above and beyond to help me out. Extremely trustworthy and I've never once had an issues with them. I highly recommend them to all my family and friends. If your looking for a good honest place to take your vehicles this is the place.

Westside Auto Care took very good care of me! Justin was very straight forward and was very friendly doing business with. The Lady taking calls (never got her name) is also very friendly and the prices were very fair and they got me in and out in no time!! Don t hesitate; they will get you right!!

While they couldn't ressurect my transmission they did not charge me for the time spent and referred me to a trnsmission shop that is within my transmission's travel limits. When I have other problems with my car, and I will have other problems, they'll be my go to garage. Any one want to buy a 2015 Nissan Versa, rebuilt trainy and new serpetine belt?Service: Transmission repair

They are very Honest.iv got several things done to me truck and car here at Such auto place.Very nice .AND WAS HONEST ABOUT MY BRAKES SAID THAT I CAN STILL DRIVE FOR ABOUT GOOD THREE TO SIX MONTHS. OTHER MECHANICS WOULD HAVE JUST TOOK ADVANTAGE OF A WOMAN NOT KNOWING THESE THINGS

A coworker who has bringing her cars here for years recommended this place to me about a year ago when I needed some routine maintenance. I have had my car in a total of three times since, and they always do great work at very reasonable prices. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always interested in letting you know what was wrong and what can be done to prevent similar issues in the future (when applicable). It's very hard to find a good mechanic that you can trust, but Such's fits the bill and will be getting my business for a long time.

I took my 2012 Toyota Tacoma in for West Side Auto Care to diagnose a rattling sound. Dropped off at 8. Had a call from Justin by 10:30 with a full explanation of the problem and a suggested resolution in detail. We agreed on the next steps, the parts were ordered, and my truck was ready to be picked up by 5 PM. I could not have been happier with the experience. I will be recommending this place to all my friends and family.

As usual, Such''s was great! my car had a real mystery puzzle of a sound going on and they called me right away and were honest about their approach that it was going to have to be a let's try one thing and if that doesn't work we'll try another kind of deal. of course the first thing they tried worked like a charm and my car is running great. To top it off, the bill was much lower than anticipated. They charged over$100 less than an estimate from another place that I had received for this problem. it might take a little more of a wait to get in, but it's worth the wait. And that's why you do wait because they are busy with a strong clientele base because of the good work they do Hghly recommend!

Great experience! Great prices! I had an appt to take my car in for a wiper related problem. The morning I took it in, my actuator went out and they fixed both of the issues in less than 4 hours. They were so friendly. Over all a very good experience and no complaints. I will definitley make them my go to mechanic from now on (:

We were in Indianapolis for a reunion, driving a rental car. One tire kept losing air. We were desperate because we needed to pick up someone at the airport. Brittany told us to bring the car over. Justin took time from his busy day to fix the tire, removing a nail, and checking all the other tires. These two people are the ultimate in excellent service, done with a smile. I will definitely recommend them to all my Indy friends.Service: Tires

The name is not Such's Auto anymore. It's West Side Auto Care (Service Shop). I would say the price was fair, but the mechanic left my vehicle in a state of disrepair. Firstly they couldn't give me an estimate over the phone even though I knew exactly what was wrong with my vehicle. Secondly they didn't tell me what time to have my vehicle towed in so I had to make ANOTHER appointment, and was met with a bad attitude along with the blame being shifted onto me. I don't appreciate them telling me that it was "Safe to drive" with an overtightened serpentine belt (which caused my bearings in one of the components to squeak excessively) and missing valve cover bolt (which I'm sure has something to do with my oil leak) when my family rides in this car on a daily basis. Also they could have mentioned that I was running on three bad tires from the previous owner rather than charging me for an unnecessary alignment. I do not recommend this shop to anyone looking for a serious mechanic.

Was recommended to them by a coworker. The guys have always been very upfront every time I come in. I like that they'll take a moment to explain what exactly is going on and how urgent or not the issue is.They usually take longer than the corporate repair places but I think it's because they don't rush and take their time to make sure your car is done right.Services: Transmission, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Heard about Such s through my spouse and his family. They had used Such s Auto Care on many occasions and I found myself with a nail in my tire and not wanting to spend a fortune. I had put on the spare and dropped off the busted tire and ran some errands to return in the afternoon to a fixed tire and no nonsense. Great price for the service!
