Tyler Automotive is a trusted automotive shop and I will continue to use their services while living in Indianapolis. They are knowledgeable, polite, and efficient in their work. The entire experience was superior than most automotive repair shops that I ve dealt with historically. Thank you Tyler Automotive for the awesome recommendations. I ll definitely be back for troubleshooting and repairs in the future.

My check engine light started blinking on/off while driving to work. I was able to get to Tyler Automotive where they diagnosed and resolved the issue in same day. Communication was both thorough and transparent and they had great customer service.

I am so thankful to finally have a smooth-riding, quiet vehicle! I actually had a few issues going on with my CRV and after taking it to the same place a few times with no luck resolving the problems, decided to try out Tyler's. So glad I did. One of the issues they discovered was a previous shop had put on the wrong serpentine belt and this apparently was causing several of my issues (loud sounds, flashing dash lights, etc.). This went undetected by several mechanics so was THRILLED that Tyler's caught it. I'll be going back there in the future.

Very grateful for Tyler Automotive. Communication was clear and timely. Each interaction was kind and helpful - from scheduling, drop-off, authorization of work, payment, and pick-up. The inspection report, estimate of work document, and text updates are great. They talked me through their recommendation, prioritizing what needs to be completed, why, what could wait and for how long. I did not feel pressured or ill-informed at any time. I recently took my car to 2 other shops for a different issue - one made it difficult for me to decline their recommended work, charged me $200 for the inspection, requiring me to bring my husband to be able to drive off their lot, and the other offered an all-or-nothing package of work, charging a lot without instilling any confidence. What the 2 other shops described as "nothing they have ever seen before", Tyler Automotive said they had seen it before and had a plan that gave me comfort. Car drives well, and I now have a mechanic that I trust. Google reviews helped me decide on Tyler, so including my experience for others. Thank you!

My wife had a really great experience getting her car serviced here. When my typical mechanic had a long wait time, I made the switch and have now brought my car to Tyler automotive twice. I could not be more impressed by the service we have gotten. They are efficient, honest, and prices are very fair. You get clear communication at every step.

Very happy with my experience at Tyler Auto. Communication is everything, and they provided it. I received many phone calls providing me with updates and the mechanic called to answer any questions. You get a lot through text message as well, making it super easy. Overall, the staff is friendly and my car is fixed. Would recommend.

I made an appointment to check my Acadia for brake pads and they did a 22 point inspection which I'm not sure I have ever had done on the car. Some things were pointed out to me to look out for in the future. I really appreciated the thorough inspection and the summary of everything they did for me to review. My car was fixed and I did some of the other recommendations and I am very happy with the work. I have peace of mind that the car will be fine all winter. It's a 14 year old car so, the 22 point inspection was very worthwhile.

I needed a new battery installed. Even though I purchased it elsewhere, they were happy to perform the task. Only a reasonable labor cost. They continue to carry on the tradition of Tyler Auto being fair, honest and cost competitive.Thank you for being there.

Have seen Taylor Automotive for years, but never paid much attention. USAA recommended business, so decided to try it out. Had a great experience with Taylor Automotive. Preformed an inspection of the vehicle and noted some items needed to be addressed. Discussed the findings with me and made a plan of what to address. Did it try to over sell services. Will definitely return to have other services and maintenance done in my Mini Cooper before going to dealership.

Found my auto center. I had heard nothing but glowing things my entire life and finally was organized enough to make an appointment vs being reactionary to car issues and man does it make a difference. The honesty, quality of service and speed/delivering on schedule were all impeccable. I knew going in I needed brake service, and knew I was due for tires in the back of my head, but they didn t push at all, but did express honestly - hey you do need to do this in the immediate future whether you do it today or not . I have total faith and trust in their opinion and service and will only be going here moving forward. Also, I have received photos of issues before, but really loved their inspection email with detailed photos and green, yellow and red color coding for severity of issues. Thanks again Shane, Becky and the great technicians.

Always gone to the dealer and finally decided to give my neighborhood shop a chance. Been twice in last 3 months and they have been nothing but great. Worked me in this week while slam packed, cost efficient and genuine nice people. Recommend services based on need, not to upsell. Will be back next time for repair or general maintenance!

Replaced a head gasket, free of charge, on my 2015 Honda Accord, which the had put in sometime over the last year. They are very honest & upfront about issues found & estimated cost.I sometimes drop by with windshield wiper I can't get on and they have been happy to put it on & not charge me, since I have been a customer for 3-5 years now.I trust them with my car needs.

The best customer service I ve ever had from a mechanic shop. They gave me an extensive report highlighting what needs immediate attention, and what needs to be addressed in the future. They did not perform any services without my direct consent. They were upfront, prompt, and very professional. the after hours lockbox made it very convenient for me to come and pick up my car even though it was after hours. Thanks for all that you do. I had to find a new mechanic that accepted Maxcare from carmax, so I decided to give Tyler Automotive a shot, and they were amazing. Listened to my wants and didn't try to upsell me on things that didn't need to be done. The transparency of everything from photos to explanations, everything was made very clear. 100% will return.

1/29/2024I again used Tyler Automotive to work on the Jeep, and again they did a great job on the service! 212,000 miles and still ticking!Tyler automotive has alway been there for my Jeep. DO NOT GO HERE. They may know what they are doing but you WILL GET OVERCHARGED. Just because they are in Broad Ripple they think they can rip people off with their location and family atmosphere. Just go to Best One down the street.

My family went to Tyler s for a pre-purchase inspection. They were extremely thorough, taking pictures and providing explanations for anything they noticed. All the staff I talked to were super kind and took the time to answer any questions I had. Their prices are reasonable and I will definitely be going back if I ever need another PPI or have car troubles.

This was my second time using Tyler's. They've replaced both my rear and front brakes. Easy to schedule. Front office staff is good about communicating repair needs and repair progress. They're informative, but the don't push a bunch of extra repairs. Had dead battery as I left work, person who jumped car said it was alternator. Dropped car at Tyler s & it was very busy. Called me next day & after installing new battery & checking alternator & starter, said everything checked out ok. Did not charge me for diagnostic, plus gave me ride home Following wk had service light come on & a weird glitch. Again dropped car & got ride home. They spent quite a bit of time thoroughly checking engine & found everything in good working order. Did not charge me diagnostic!! Car has been running great!They are thorough, honest, & fair. We use Tyler for two vehicles and it s always a positive experience. They provide skilled diagnostics, competitive estimates, and work well done. The staff is professional and friendly, things are completed on time, and they keep us informed along the way. It may take a little time to get appointments, because they have a loyal following! My brother was an honest mechanic and he would have fit in great there. I was there recently for an oil change and the staff gave me detailed advice on buying a particular used vehicle what to look for as far as past service for that model. They are super knowledgeable, love cars, and treat their customers like gold.Service: Oil change

This is the best place to get work done on your car! The whole staff are nice and extremely knowledgeable. I thought I needed something done and it was gonna cost an arm and a leg. Thankfully these are the guys to trust! They reassured me that I didn t need everything completed and prioritized the things that most definitely needed done. The pricing was better than other places I ve gone to and they didn t just see me as a transaction. I felt like I was in the presence of family. Thank you to everyone there that helped with my car and I ll be back to get routine maintenance from now on! They are the best!

After a hiatus of 5+ years I have returned to Tyler Auto. Even though the business has changed hands it s still the same friendly, exclamation Tyler service that Tony Tyler provided for years.I purchased a decent used car from a Dealer over a year ago and the two times I had service there I was not impressed so when I heard a popping noise in the front struts I knew I had to have Tyler take a look. I was seen promptly and given a quote to replace the struts that was reasonable. I was also advised it wasn t a safety issue and I could wait awhile if need be.I scheduled the car for a week later and it was completely quickly and professionally.I recommend Tyler Auto 100%Services: Steering & suspension replacement, Wheel alignment
