Took my 2008 Mitsubishi Galant (236,000 miles)for transmission trouble. Greg and Montana were very gracious and welcoming. Greg explained everything he was going to and offered additional needed maintenance options. We meet in the middle and I was able to get my car back same day. I have not complaints and would not hesitate to return or refer others to the shop for services. Great addition to our neighborhood.

Greg & his team were nothing but friendly, professional, & honest. They were able to get my vehicle in and turned around in very reasonable amount of time. The work I needed done was completed as requested, as well as inspection for any other issues. I highly recommend The Auto Center for any repairs/maintenance needs. Up front honesty, & friendliness will make me a repeat customer.

The Auto Center is our shop for maintenance & mechanical repairs. Greg has been my mechanic for over a decade. He is honest, authentic, reasonable, and he does not take advantage of you. You can save a ton of money and support a local business owner by doing your vehicle maintenance with the Auto Center.Whenever there is a major issue with my vehicle Greg shows me and explains in laymen's terms what is wrong with the vehicle. I send my daughters to Greg because I know we can trust him. My husband, who does know about vehicles, said Greg is first class and a doctor of mechanics.Today we took a vehicle we were looking to purchase for my daughter to be inspected because it seemed to have a few issues. Greg saved us thousands of dollars, the engine was failing because the previous owner most likely didn't do regular oil changes. There is a difference between a fee and a cost; you will pay a small fee to use a great local professional like Greg & his staff to save yourself a huge cost later. Thank you Auto Center, keep up the great work!

I spoke with Greg when my Honda dumped a reddish/purple liquid on my garage floor. He told me they could take a look at my vehicle, and once they were able to examine it he walked me over what happened to my car and what would need to be done to fix it. The shop was able to repair it in about 24 hrs. Because of a mixture of of fluids that happened from my car's break down I will need to bring my Honda back in to be flushed again to try to make sure the fluid is clear it contamination. I would highly recommend The Auto Center for anyone looking for a business that is straightforward and honest about the work and what to expect.

First time customer but now one for life. Referred by my neighbor, they were everything he said they were; professional, fast, friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly HONEST. They were able to get to the bottom of the Honda Odyssey's "issues" in a day. Will be bringing all my vehicles to Greg and his team in the future.

I was in need if what looked like a complicated repair. The Auto Center investigated and found a simple, quick solution and I had my car back in a short amount of time. Shop is very clean and the management is friendly and polite!

I must say they re the best in the city. Such honest and genuine people!!Brought in my car for a service and I paid way below the estimated value given before the service. The staff is way friendly and cooperative. They just make you feel like you re at home.I highly recommend THE AUTO CENTRE!!!

Last summer I had bought a used Chevy Tahoe from a dealership in Greenwood. All great, no issues. In late November, it died, got it back up running.. then about a week and a half later, it was intermittently dying and I could not drive a mile down the road without it dying. It sat from December to mid February. I don t trust dealerships, so I was prolonging taking it in everywhere as everything I have read on forms, this wasn t anything dealerships could figure out. My dad happened to recommend this shop to me, contacted Greg on a Monday, had it towed on that following Wednesday. My dad delivers their mail so he was able to get frequent updates. In the short time, Greg could not get my vehicle to replicate the issues. Getting discouraged thinking I had a giant paper weight that no one is going to be able to figure out its electrical issues. Greg kept trying and was finally (I say finally, but this was all less than a week lol) able to get my Tahoe to recreate the problem. With it finally acting up for him, Greg was able to pinpoint exactly what was wrong with it AND fix it. I had my vehicle back within a week!! He also did a complete look over my entire vehicle and let me know things that needed fixed, replaced.. so on. I would recommend anybody to this shop and see Greg! In my initial conversation with Greg he assured me I was in good hands and he had the knowledge in electrical and my model year Tahoe specifically. He came through with everything he said and I could not be more pleased I took my vehicle to him!

I took my car to the Auto Center for some fuel/air/emissions repairs and a tune up. It was on a Thursday so I was thinking I d be without a vehicle until Monday at the earliest. Well, my car was ready first thing that Friday morning and I had a ton of work done! I ve been driving around and my car is running better than when I first purchased it!!! Montana and Greg were extremely informative and professional and I most definitely recommend the Auto Center to anyone needing repairs. Keep up the great work guys!!!

I called Greg and left a message to get a quote on how much it would cost to replace the motor in my 2017 GMC terrain. He called me back very quickly and informed me that I most likely didn't need a new motor that I probably just needed a new timing chain and timing gear. I told him that I was broke down 180 mi from home and he very thoroughly walked me through how to safely get the vehicle to his shop so that I didn't blow up the motor. I followed his instructions exactly and everything worked out perfectly the vehicle is now running better than it did when I bought it and I cannot stress enough how helpful kind and fair Greg and his team were to me now everyone in my family takes their vehicles to the auto center. I would recommend anyone in the area to take their vehicles to Greg and his team at theauto center. Not only can they do it all big and small but they will treat you fair and not try to rip you off like a lot of other like a lot of other mechanics.

Spoke to Montana on the phone and he was very kind and respectful and got me scheduled for an appointment very quick. Day of the appointment they kept me informed and they were very reasonable and helpful. They even pointed out I was due for an oil change and they changed it out for me. I will continue to use them and I will recommend this awesome place to everyone!

I brought my 2007 Chevy Colorado in that needed a alternator to The Auto Center. I was greeted with a smile and taken care of right away. I dropped my truck off late afternoon and Greg diagnosed my truck and looked over the health of the rest of the truck before he called me. Greg quoted me a fair price and my truck was up and running the next day. There was no waiting like at the dealership and the price to repair was alot less . I will now go to the Auto Center for all my automotive needs.Thank you Greg!!!

We ve had great experiences using the Auto Center on our cars. The owner, Greg, is trustworthy, reliable, knowledgeable, personable, & explains car mechanics in a way that is understandable. He finds creative ways to fix problems to keep cost down. He never tries to upsell us.The shop is convenient, has plenty of parking, and has good turnaround time. We rely on The Auto Center to fix and maintain all of our vehicles. We recommend them.

After looking high and low everywhere people said to go get my transmission repaired The Auto Center came through in the clutch. Friendly service and a job well done. These guys know their stuff. This is now my go to for repairs on my Durango and Cadillac. Thanks guys you saved my vehicle.

I was referred to Greg and The Auto Center by a friend. They got my Jeep towed to them within an hour and it was ready the next day. Greg was honest and took every call and question I had. He was fair on price and didn't try to talk me into any unnecessary repairs. I will be a customer for life!

First time taking my 2019 Honda Pilot to the shop I pass every day on my way to work. I was having some transmission issues with my car not accelerating smoothly. The team quickly identified the problem, ordered the parts and had my on my way in the same day. During the diagnostic, the team also sent me photos of the problem so I could see them. I appreciate the honesty and transparency. They did great work, and the price was more than fair. I probably would have paid 2-3x at a dealership or a chain auto shop. I will definitely be back.

Greg has been honest and fair with recommendations for repair and service on two of our vehicles. One needed extensive maintenance and repairs due to wear and tear (2007 vehicle) and he broke things down in a way that I understood so that I knew which repairs needed to happen first.

Bought a used truck and 2 weeks later it threw a code. Diagnostic said it was the thermostat. I typically try to do my own work but really didn't want to drain the radiator myself. Called Greg and he quoted me a price. Got me in the next day, then I got the call that the shop that did the intake manifold put the thermostat in backwards (This work was done right before I bought the truck) so was pretty upset. Not only that but the other shop stripped the bolt, and didn't use a gasket. (They used glue) I even went to change oil myself and it was a quart low and the filter was cranked down too tightly. After those mistakes I didn't want the old shop touching the truck, even if it was under warranty. Well Greg took care of me and made sure it was done right. Even inspected the new intake manifold gasket to make sure they didn't mess that up. TAC did a great job and the truck is running great.

My vehicle had a transmission that went bad. Fortunately I had a warranty that covered most of it. Greg and team not only did an amazing job of getting a new one put in, he took time out of his work day to stay on the phone with the warranty company for hours on in to be sure my warranty was honored the way it should have been. That s going above and beyond for the customer and he will forever have my business! If you need any car repairs please take it to TAC, you will not regret it!!!Service: Transmission

I won an oil change from a giveaway that The Auto Center was doing with other local businesses. Greg was super friendly when I went in. He was honest about me not needing breaks done on my 2022 carnival that Ray Skillman said needed done. When I called to schedule my appointment the lady was super kind! My family will definitely be using TAC from now on!

I have a mechanic in my former home in Lapel that took fantastic care of my car, but it is difficult to coordinate getting a vehicle in need of repair the distance and requires busy family and friends to assist.The Auto Center assisted me in my time of need for immediate local help. They were friendly, very professional, convenient and informative for less than the internet suggested retail prices for the work I had done. Had a timing chain issue with my truck. Greg and his mechanics tried to replace the timing chains, only to find that the motor was toast. They worked with me and got a new engine put in. They were super honest and showed me the issues that needed fixed.

We took our expedition in for warranty work and greg and his staff were extremely nice and professional. The shop is neat as a pin and the old building adds a cool vibe . Greg went to bat for us with the warranty company , in my opinion above and beyond. I won a bmw as well and the fact that he can work on import and domestic is great. There is not enough room for me to tell you how great my experience with Greg and his shop. Our 2018 Jeep had some issues and they were taken care of in the same day that I brought it in. Dealerships were a month out. Greg s professionalism and knowledge were outstanding. I would recommend this place to anyone. The best!!!
