WowSo many bad reviews for this dealer. I was very nervous to come here for recall repairs seeing the reviews. Will see how it goes. The driver lounge looks like what I d imagine a visitor waiting room at a prison would look like. Dirty chairs a tv and a water cooler is all they have. These are very expensive vehicles I d expect the waiting room to be much nicer.

Went in for a PM, an this is not the first time this has happened. They are not helpful at all. They keep your truck longer then they say. They fix one thing but when you get your truck back u need something else fix that was nothing wrong with it. All bad , something needs to be done about this!!! If I could give no stars I would!!!! An this is how we got our truck back!!!

My experience with these guys were great. Came in with an oil and coolant leak and they got me in early. You don t have to get a hotel with these guys because they let you stay with your truck on their property. I was out of there less than 24hrs.

Oh how I wish I would have read the reviews! 2.9 speaks for itself. Only good thing to say is most of the employees were pleasant except for tech Salem. If you don't like your job just go elsewhere . Can't really blame your for being miserable,I wouldn't work for these folks

Hello, truck driver's and owner operator's I had worth experience today this location. I drop my truck for pm service few days ago and I received call today DEC 26 my truck is ready to go. I went there in afternoon after pay my service I get key for my truck park in side freightliner boundary. Gess what.. my truck fuel tank cap is open and my gas was stolen I went back to office and tell them situation . they start watch fase each other and told me clearly we not responsible for this happen and tell me call the police make a report . How unreasonable??

I went to there Saturday about 0840 am 12/2/23 to check in and get my work day started. There was a husband that not only parked his vehicle in-between the bay doors for outbound yard . He went straight to the employee only service department door. He was also behind the service counter where the staff takes care of the customers? He said he was dropping off breakfast to his wife and was pretty rude. The two young ladies behind the service department desk didn't see anything wrong with what I talking about. Surprisingly, they were pretty rude. Finally, the lady said that she'll open the doors for me. The husband goes back to his rice burner and revved his engine off the re limiter with the bay doors still closed. I've never had any problems at stoops or with any of the employees. Hopefully, no one else won't have to deal with anything like this again. A little kindness and professionalism goes a long way. Thanks for your time.

I tried to call and complain about a driver swerving all over the road and hitting the curb and they told me it must have been a vehicle they sold. But why would you have your company name plastered on all sides and your phone number if it was a car you sold. The car was covered with company decals and wrapped in their colors and such. The lady just wanted me to get off the phone. It was quite obviously a company car.

Read the reviews before coming here!I was told to get my truck looked at within 2-4 hrs then after 6 hrs they said to bring it in the evening then in the evening said overnight so they have put me in very difficult position having my trailer dropped at truck stop which usually do not allow trailer drop offs.And staff talks to you like you re in desert with only shop around.Finally I ve found better solution to get my truck fixed. Less than a mile away who can work on specificly DEF issues with twice less time wasting and $ of course. So think twice before coming to this facility if value your time.

Took our flatbed Freightliner to Stoops to look at some problems regarding our regen on the diesel engine. I will unfortunately be adding to the litany of negative reviews on here for 2 main reasons: ease of doing business and pricing. The pricing and up-charging was pretty high. I expected to be paying a premium rate, but upon seeing my estimate I wanted them touching as little as possible. Check-in was anything other than smooth and fast. When it came time for them to perform the work I was told I must drive back to the store to pay in person as there was no other way to pay(other than wire transfer over the phone). I had a small $3600.00 repair job they they refused to start if I did not pay half up front. Instead of going out of my way to pay over top dollar for a simple fix we opted to get our truck out of there as fast as possible and never look back. 10/10 would not recommend doing business here without a revamping of how they do business.

My trailer was brought in under an insurance claim and assessed on 10/24. I was informed that they ordered my part from the manufacturer, painted to match my trailer. The manufacturer told them & my insurance claims rep that there was a 2-week lead time on the part.4 weeks later, I attempted to call the service department, parts department and tried to be transferred to a manager of either department SEVERAL times, on Monday 11/21, Tuesday 11/22 & Wednesday 11/23 without any success. I was placed on hold for 15-25 minutes at a time on 4 separate occasions, and was told that someone would give me a call back today on 3 separate occasions neither of which happened.I also reached back out to my insurance rep. He has been the only person to respond to me but, he also mentioned that he hasn t heard anything from anyone at Stoops. He thought that the trailer had been completed and the job was finished because it has been so long and they had taken full payment.So far, I have not received any communication from anyone at Stoops. They have been paid in full by my insurance company for the necessary repairs, so I am utterly confused as to why I can t get a response back from anyone in the Indianapolis location.I had my truck repaired at a different shop and they completed $18,000 worth of parts, repairs and paint BEFORE a coupler could be ordered and installed by Stoops?!?!So please, for the life of me, someone let me know what I m supposed to make of this!?!

Stay far away from this place, my driver had issues with a oil pressure gauge moving around (the truck still was running fine) I had him pull over and wait for a tow truck because I didn t want to risk a bigger issue. These guys charged me four grand for a diagnostic then told me I had a spun bearing. My truck have 250,000 miles on it ,no engine light ,no noise coming from the engine AT ALL then turn around and give me a $30,000 estimate, you re better off waiting for Roadside than going to this place or find a shop in the area besides this one whatever these guys did to my truck now it would not start and my engine is seized up. I picked my truck up to get a second opinion found out they took all of my oil out didn t put nothing back in it left every nut screw loose they touched because I didn t pay what they were asking to fix it. What these guys are doing should really be a crime this place really needs to be investigated by the feds. Being that I m from another state I wasn t familiar with the area so I found what I thought would be the best shop,I sure wish I would have read the reviews before hand then maybe I wouldn t be out of a truck !! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY

They are just making bad the name of Freightliner with their insane pricing and employees' aggressive approach. Just for diagnosing the problem they charged us 958$. For total repair they asked for 8000$. Guess what another local shop did it for 1500$.I will never come back to this facility again.

Only reason I m giving two stars instead of one is because I usually never have any problems at stoops but today 12/8 I waited a few minutes at the front counter to check on my truck before anyone even came to help me. There clearly was not any one in there to help because even the phones were ringing with no answer. Then two blonde young lady s waltzed in just giggling and talking away like no one was standing there waiting to be helped. One who had an attitude like I was bothering her. Even though it s her job.I usually love stoops. But this was very unprofessional and should not be happening. Hire better staff please. You re going to lose a lot of business with staff like that . Thanks

Had one of my company trucks there. The Mechanical work was excellent, we were very happy with the work that was completed on our truck. The service department there's another story. The service department at the stoop location in Indianapolis is not professional and not friendly. At all. Due to this, we will not bring any of our trucks back to this Indianapolis location. We strongly recommend all other companies to do the same!!!!

I had a disappointing experience at Stoops while trying to purchase truck parts. The workers were unprofessional and exhibited behavior that I found to be RACIST. Despite being fluent in English and having never encountered such issues elsewhere, I felt uncomfortable explaining myself at this establishment. They re rude and seems like they re not happy to work there.

Beware!!! Scammers Lied and told me a one price then fixed the truck without my consent and charged me 3x more than what the original price. Please do not go to this place. They will hold your truck hostage.. they are unprofessional and wouldn t not give me back my truck and until I told them I would tell them I will call the authorities.If you don t want to be scammed, disrespectful DO Not GO

Ok...For me I was a little scared to use this dealer based on the reviews I read but have to say my experience was excellent. I checked in about 4:00 a.m. I was the only 1 got checked in. I had 2 amber engine lights and a flashing def light which caused engine to derate in power. 8 hours later fixed & outta there. I am impressed that this dealer has alot of days there 24/7 & let's you temporarily stay in your truck until called for them to start on your truck.

Went in for a repair an was told they would get right on it. After waiting almost 9 hours for a simple repair finally got back on the road. The guys on 2nd shift was too busy acting up to help anyone it seemed like.

This Freightliner is the worse freightliner in the USA .i took my truck to check for air leak ,they told me there is no leak and charged us 480$ for few minutes diagnostic . They tried to charge us 500$ to replace one air filter . Air filter all over USA is 120$ , they selling it for 250$ . Omg don t go there . The staff there are so rude.

Stoops is a great place to get parts for your truck or trailer. The staff are generally very knowledgeable they usually have the parts you need or can get them in a timely manner. The worst thing I have to say about them is that the trailer shop/parts counter is closed on the weekend - they NEED to fix this.

Worst dealership everService-0The ladies over there if u ask anything about your repair they rudely answer the question my truck is underwarrenty and first they told me this is covered underwarrenty but they said because of exessive idle time we cannot cover it under warrenty i am a single owner operator i never idle my truck.disgusting place

If it were possible to zero stars, I would!I was towed here due to an accident. After completing an assessment of visual damages, I also expressed that there may be damages unseen that were also caused by the accident.Upon "COMPLETION" of my vehicle, I noticed right away there was an obvious air leak and a coolant leak. The technicians claimed not to realize these problems. I spoke with the body shop manager, Tom, and he was of no use. Every problem I pointed out, he blamed on damages existing before the accident. That was completely FALSE. After getting no resolution, I had to take my truck to a reputable shop to repair my vehicle properly.

This is one of the worst company that I ever went to. They are not descriptive about anything they offer, I booked a truck for a test drive for a deposit of 1,000 dollars, and when I did not like the truck I booked obviously because the truck had defects and was not in good condition to buy, I never got my deposit back. Person named Stephen Dunkin, refused to pay me back my deposit for a truck I did not buy due to bad conditioning and had a very bad attitude while dealing with my situation. Worst customer service for sure. They advertised the trucks for being in good condition but after test drive there were couple malfunctions were found that were not mentioned anywhere such as main seal motor, head valve cap damage, etc

This is the absolute SLOWEST truck repair shop in the entire midwest!! Any other freightliner franchise is worth doing business with other than this one! I will say one good thing about them, the staff is quite friendly and easy going but, actual truck repair time...an absolute complete joke! Simple, replacing windshield wipers may take them a week to complete..Real talk!

My truck came in with an electrical problem and the DT12 not shifting. A week and 4200.00 later.(they told me the truck was ready). truck still has the same problem, stoops misdiagnosed at my expence. They also told me the truck didnt have the fuse cover on the sam chasis, but their mechanic actually broke the tabs taking it off, i know because they made the mistake of leaving the broken cover in my truck trying to get my money back so i can take it some where else.. should have read the reviews before coming here... beware owner ops.. don't come here they will take your money and not care about you. Maybe thats why they require you to pay upfront, so that if you're not happy with the repairs, oh well you've already paid.

Needed a new transmission considering how busy this place is I was in and out. You guys rock......I checked for updates Monday evening and all day Tuesday every 3 to 4 hours any and everyone was quite helpful and gave me what I needed to know the repair was moving right along. Thanks so much for getting me back on the roads..........

We droped our truck on because of mechanical issue we were told the job is done after week , we were even charged because they hook there computer to diagnose while the equipment is totally under warranty , we did pay the payment thinking that they are frieghtliner dealer and might they will take good care of the unit we pick up the truck not even one trip and the same problem again how we gonna make payment on our unit and other payments of our daily expenses if we have to keep bringing the unit for the same problem not even making the unit run for 1400 miles .who going to bear the losse because of stoop unproffesional attitude .

Worst customer service and most expensive dealer. They wanted $4300 to replace my radiator, no thank you, I'll get it done at another dealership for $2940.
