For over 50 years, they ve been repairing vehicles that others couldn t handle. Whether it s an old school ride or the latest Hi Tech computerized vehicle, Stan s team tackles it all. And that s not all they even rebuild starters and alternators for any vehicle ever made! Their commitment to quality service and extensive expertise has made them a trusted other electrical shop recent repair. They did even negotiated a lower price on the final bill because I'm on a set budget. Thank you. Stan and I will be back if I have any future Auto Electric needs.

I'm late with this review, but we brought them a 2008 Cadillac with a wiring issue involving the injectors, setting up the appointment was easy, our experience was great. At the counter the conversation was simple and professional. The price really wasn't bad for what the tech had to do. The car was ready the next day. This was over a year ago and still no problems.

These guys fixed some obscure electrical issues on my 1963 Lincoln Continental a few years back. These were problems two other shops couldn't even identify, let alone repair. The Lincolns of the early sixties were decades ahead of their time in convenience and operations. Because of the lack of modern technology, the systems in these vehicles were extremely complex. Of course, this made the diagnosis and repair more complex. Thanks Stan!

My name is Dave Nelson. I had heard about Stan's Auto Electric and after thinking we had the electrical problem fixed I brought a 15 passenger bus to Stan's. The bus would start after a jump and then it always had to be jumped. Something had kept draining the new battery that was put in by another auto repair. Dustin at the service counter said they would research the problem and do their best. Thanks to Dustin and their team of Mechanics they found a second battery that had not been replaced in 12 years and the terminals were corroded and that was the reason for the the other battery to be constantly drained. Hats off to a great company and a quick turn around with our problem. Dave NelsonService: Electrical repair

If I could I would leave 0 stars for this place. Charged me $352 for a relay and what they say 5 hrs of work and it still didn't fix the problem. They also said my truck needed a new fuse box and reprogrammed. They had my truck for 5 days and still didn't fix anything. I took my truck to Norms auto electric on South Keystone. He fixed the truck within 2 hrs. Didn't need a new fuse box or that relay. Said it was the plug in for the AC. Norms had my truck back and AC working in a couple of hrs. If I want a job done right don't take it here take it to Norms on S. Keystone

Stan s electric is a total ripoff! They overcharge me for a simple electrical repair, overcharged me for labor, and when I left I felt a overwhelming disappointment in service, pricing, and customer service. If you don t know much about electrical auto issues don t go to Stan s they will take advantage of you. You ve been warned!Service: Electrical repairService: Electrical repair

I've had multiple vehicles worked on at stans. They do fantastic work and are very fast and efficient at what they do. Would recommend stans auto electric 10 out of 10 times to anyone

I strongly do not recommend them. Flat rate of $145 pr hr then for them to tell me what I had told them .( no power getting to front..battery good )..but they say to find your significant problem we will have to charge you another Hour or whatever it may entail. Funny thing though it only took me 15 minutes total to find out my BCM was faulty ( with my portable scanner ) !!! Oh yeah before I posted this I called to let them know I was completely dissatisfied with how they operate. So with this being said , if you have any mechanical/electrical knowledge DO IT YOURSELF. I DONT LIKE RIPOFFS.DAVID E HENDERSONServices: Electrical repair, Auto engine diagnostic

Believe all the bad reviews on Stan's! I wish I had read them before I took my car there. This place is the WORST! I had to take my car back for the THIRD TIME for the SAME THING! Each time, it was something new causing the SAME issue. Their customer service is absolutely non-existent! They tried to keep my vehicle over the weekend and weren't even going to call and tell me. I called to get a status, and they said, oh, we didn't get the part, so it's going to be Monday. I asked them to put the car back together so I could have it for the weekend as this is my only mode of transportation, and was assured they would have the part on Monday and be able to fix it then. So I took the car back at 8:00 on Monday. By 4:30, had not heard a single thing from them, so I called to let them know I was on my way to pick it up, but was told AGAIN that it would not be done until Tuesday! I asked again if they could put it back together so I could drive it and was told that was not possible. I live out of town and this is my sole means of transportation. So 5 days and $150 in Lyft bills later, and they tell me this time it's fixed. I'll believe it when I see it.I was also told by the owner that they're too busy working on 45 - 50 other things to call people to let them know the status of their vehicle. This seems strange since whenever I've been there, they're always standing around and the parking lot is always empty. But I can see why they're too busy when they have to work on a vehicle 2 and 3 times to get it right! Doesn't matter - they will NEVER see my face or my bank card again!

I went here last week to have a diagnostic performed for a check engine light. When I called I was told $105 (Nothing additional). Mind you, when I walked in there was a sign that stated diagnostics/checks would be $65-$105. I dropped my van off on a Thursday morning around 8a. I didn t receive a phone call at all on Thursday. I called on Friday around 11a for an update and was told it was hooked up to their machine and I would receive a call back once they were done. I received a call around 3:30 and was told they couldn t figure anything out after it was hooked up to their machine and was also told it would $340 to complete the diagnosis and they wanted to keep it over the weekend until Monday/Tuesday according to the mechanic on the phone. I told them never mind and paid the $105. It was literally a waste of time and money since nothing was resolved/accomplished from their diagnosis. I would not recommend their serviceService: Auto engine diagnostic

The guys said they were 100% accurate with diagnostics and wanted to charge me 1500 for an alternator , to change some electric locks and for an exhaust leak. Told them no, took it to American muffler and found out it wasn't an exhaust leak at all, spoke to stans electric and Bob malone was very unprofessional and told me I paid for a diagnostics and American muffler is the one inaccurate. Stans is very unprofessional and unreliable!!!!!!!!!!!

I would never take my car back there. Something is draining my battery....they charge me $209 to do a diagnostic test ......I was told they had no idea what is draining my battery told me it was ok. The car work 4 days and I'm still having the same problem. I call again to let them know I having the same prob..... I was told bring it in for another DX test for $105. The devil is a lie. I would not recommend this place. Stay away

This place took full advantage of me!!! They replaced my fuse box and charged me almost $600 for the work. Fine ok. 2 days later my wipers stopped working. I went back and they told me it would be a $400 fix!!!! I went to auto zone and got the wiper switch for $45 and it took a guy literally under 5 minutes to replace it!! They were trying to rip me off yet again out of another $400 for a $50 fix. Who knows how much cheaper having that fuse box replaced could have been. So disappointed and never going back to this place!

I received auto service repair from Stan's Auto Electric and within 3 months after my service was completed the same area's in which I had issues failed again. I contacted Stan's and addressed my issue with one of their employee's and was told the appropriate person would contact me. I then waited a little longer than I should have and when I did call back I was told there was nothing to be done regarding my failed service through their company.I explained to the employee that I lived about 45 minutes away and I was unable to come back and forth and wanted to speak with someone that could give me solid information regarding my vehicle being fixed properly. I was still told there was nothing they would do.At this point I'm out of hundreds of dollars for failed repairs with a company I trusted to service my vehicle.I will never go back to Stan's and hope no one else goes there and experience the same issues I did. It's very hurtful as a young woman to experience these type of issues in the auto service industry in which I have little knowledge in and could have been taking advantage of.I advise anyone reading this review to take sincere consideration in this complaint, due to I rarely take the time to share my review, especially when it's related to a complaint, but this was a very bad experience and overall poor service.

I would not give them a star if I could. The quoted me one price even gave me a worse Case scenario. Then when I had an $80 toll given they came back with double the price. The even came up and said I needed a part that as it turned out I did not need and on top of that the part that they said I did not need was one they were gonna move anyway so they were gonna charge me extra to put a part on that they had to put back on anyway $50 more. Don't use them I had used them years ago in had a wonderful experience now I don't even wanna go past their place where they are located. They give auto shops a bad name.

I have all of my cars serviced at Stan's and have for many years! They provide great service and are a top notch team! I'm always impressed by the way they keep me informed on what's going on and how knowledgeable they are! If you want fast, dependable service in a friendly/caring atmosphere, and security in knowing you won't be overcharged, this is the place!

The labor is to expensive. I know I need a catalytic converter on my vehicle I will not let them do it the labor will eat up my pocket. I will go back to safehaven. Bad enough I was charged 105.00 for a relay switch. Didn't call to say what was wrong before they put it on.

These guys charged me $320 to replace a starter on my car. Charged me 2 hours of labor when it should have been maybe 1 hour. Bad attitudes all around. Took my car there again another time because I couldn't figure out what was draining my battery. Said it was the lock switch on my door. After replacing it and taking 4 days to do so, $377!! These guys act like they don't want to work. Not worth the time or money. DO NOT GO HERE!

I was told I could bring my car for a diagnostics test and that I didn't need an appointment unless I was dropping it off, the following day I arrived before 1030am on a Friday and they said they were short staffed but I could leave it to get a diagnostics on Monday?! Who wants to leave their car all weekend unattended? Not cool

This place is absolutely horrible! The staff was very disrespectful and had a bad attitude. I brought my car to them and they told me my car's computer was bad and I needed a new one I paid then almost 800 to fix it waited almost 3 weeks for them to get the part for them to tell me that's not the problem and they need another 85$ to look at it again. Plus whatever needs to be done I would have to pay again....that's bull they are very unprofessional don't go there cuz u will be disappointed! And ready to smack one of them!!!

I have no connection with this place, but I am very pleased with the service and honesty. They tested my generator and voltage regulator And offered to do further testing for only $57, while the competition wanted to charge me $250. Problem has been solved. Thank you!
