negative stars for me. DO NOT reccomend. took my car here after it got stolen and my insurance paid them to fix everything and my car is in even worse condition leaving this shop. They don't take fault for their mistakes.1, broke my antenna off my car and took then 2 months to replace it.2. after driving off the lot my engine seized.3. They overfilled my oil tank with dirty oil.4. put my steering wheel on crooked..5. my car wont lock at all.6. they threw away my spare keys to a set and said you don't need them".Not to mention their customer service!Trish (receptionist) needs to be fired, completely disrespectful and has no clue what she is talking about.

I took my vehicle in for an electrical relearn- I was told by Dustin the process was not on my vehicle. I loved the honesty! They could have just charged me for doing nothing and sent me on my way but they didn t. Would send my vehicles in again with that kind of honesty for sure!

Was referred to Sharp's for brake ljne issue. Calls were helpful and courteous. Got the truck in within 3 days and had it completed by noon same day. Great customer service. Will return if need be.

I have been going to Sharp s Auto for 6 years and never had any problems. The owner is very nice and knowledgeable.

Rip off I understand charging to find out what's wrong with you car but you pay 107 dollars and it's not applied to your bill if they fix it your out 107 dollars stay away from this company sure you can find something better

10/10 recommend! My fianc� and his sister recommended this shop so I booked an appointment and got it done today. The price was reasonable and the customer service was top tier. They have a customer forever.

I've heard nothing but great things about this place, so I decided to give them a shot, and I'm not impressed. I take my truck in, and they tell me I need a new transmission and elaborate on what's wrong with it. They don't tell me anything but the astronomical price to do just that. I'm not a car guy, and I would assume many people they talk to you aren't Car Guys either, so when I get the paperwork, I would at least expect a detailed explanation why it's a transmission and not just because it won't move when it's in gear so basically all I got was the price tag of $4,100 plus whatever for a new transmission I'm not even sure if that included the install or not.

I've been to this shop before. They generally do good work. Never really had an issue with repairs. They were able to get in right away, and I was out fairly quickly considering the work I had performed. Prices are reasonable. They are closed on the weekends.

My first experience wan in 2007 and he did a wonderful job of fixing my car and at far cheaper than quoted from others. To today calling and dropping my car off same day. Trish answered with a smile I cam hear thru the phone. Pleasant and helpful made a schedule for my wife's car and I have no doubt they will take care of it with same professionalism from answering phone to driving home, consistency is what you get. Much needed place needs to be cloned and taught to other service companies.Thanks Chris and crew. Sharps is my shop.

Another great experience at Sharp s- third vehicle that I ve entrusted them with. Personable, polite, detailed. Chris takes the time to explain everything and give options so you can make informed decisions on what to prioritize for your vehicle. Very trustworthy. The receptionist is knowledgeable and detailed in her response.Small waiting room, but I was able to work on my laptop while I waiting. Burger King is a quick walk away for a quick bite.Highly recommended. They have done exhaust, electrical, driveline, suspension, brake, and inspections for me and I ve been satisfied every time.

Everyone at Sharp's was extremely kind, honest, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. I had come to them for a second opinion after visiting a chain auto care store. Sharp's mechanic explained honestly and clearly what was wrong with my vehicle and explained exactly what was going to need to be fixed for safe functioning. I felt the mechanic was honest and open with what was wrong-no fluff, no extra, and no scamming. They are way beyond more trustworthy than the chain auto care shops! The chain I went to said I was going to have to fix 3 times as many things and the chain store was going to charge me over $1,000 MORE than Sharp's did (every feature/part was cheaper at Sharp's). Definitely recommend Sharp's Automotive for a quick, efficient, honest, thorough, and reasonably priced auto care!Services: Auto brake replacement, Battery, Oil change

Add my name to being a fan - Competent, friendly and fair priced is Sharps. They put in a new clutch and flywheel on my 07 Ford Focus, then couple of weeks later had to put in a starter as well. Old girl drives great now. When the starter died I was right by that Burger King there and just pushed it over to the shop myself. I was sweating and huffing and puffing, lol. Trish, their office manager, offered several times to get me water, etc. Very nice of her. This my go to place for now on. (it's busy though, make sure you call and schedule ) Everyone is keeping their car nowadays.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Friday check engine light came on. Not wanting to drive all weekend with it on I called Sharps as they were close to where I am working. The lady said they usually work by appointment but if I could leave it they would try to squeeze it in.By noon they had it fixed for a reasonable rate.Thanks Sharps!

I call on 6/30 to set an appointment for 7/1 @8 am to get my brakes done. I drop off the vehicle at the exact time. I do not get a call until 12:30-1 pm to tell me they did an inspection, and all work would total to over $1600. Problem #1 all I asked for was brakes!! Well moving forward! I call and say I will be to pick up the vehicle(NO WORK DONE AT ALL). That s when I m told about the $102 inspection fee(THAT I DID NOT ASK FOR) So all and all.. very horrible experience! They don t do what you ask! They will charge you for a service they choose to do! And then question you like you are insane

Shop was amazing pricings or labor and part are way cheaper then dealerships and few other shops. I went in to get my struts done and it was done in one day. Literally when I was being charged almost 2k at most places but they charged me $600 cheaper. They also explained everything and didn't push anything to get done.

I called Sharps Automotive after my car started making an unusual noise near the radiator fan. Dustin answered the phone, asked me a few questions, and told me that although they were slammed, I should bring it by. I walked into the shop and Dustin greeted me. The phone rang, he apologized for the disruption and spoke to the person for a moment. After getting off the phone, he mentioned how much he appreciates the person who is normally there to help customers. His true appreciation for one of his employees/teammates was all I needed to hear to know I wanted to support the business. He dropped what he was doing and checked my car out. After maybe 5 minutes of inspection, he told me to leave him the keys and that he would have it fixed by closing time. He called me 30 minutes later and had already identified the problem as well as one that was going to be an issue in the not too distant future. Dustin gave me options for how to proceed and then had my car fixed within a couple of hours. Other auto shops I called couldn't get me in for days and required me to leave my car with them all day long. Dustin got me in on short notice, identified the problem quickly, and then fixed it (quickly) for a fair price. I will use Sharps Automotive for all of my vehicle repairs moving forward.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I always get excellent service at Sharp's Automotive. They are straightforward, honest, use top quality parts, and have fair prices. The shop is clean and neat, too. I will continue to recommend that people choose Sharp's as a cost-effective alternative to a dealer for service. I have been using them for many years for all of our cars. They do simple stuff to the most advanced. Glad to have them in my "toolbox".

They are GREAT !!! Going home to Virginia from Illinois - wheel bearing in drivers' front tire went out. Said they could fix it right then - would take about 1 1/2 hours. They had it done in less than an hour. Pricing was real reasonable. I would definitely give them all my business if I lived in the area ! ! !

Brought my 1996 F-250 to Dustin after the engine seized. He gave me a great quote over the phone that beat his competitor's prices by thousands of dollars.He was very quick to respond to my calls and questions and finished the job before the timetable he gave me.My truck drives like it did 20 years ago. I have since taken the same truck back for other miscellaneous fixes and each time is as great as the first.They have a lifelong customer in me. In a day and age in which we're inundated with overpromises and under delivery, it's nice to know businesses like Sharp's still exist.

Live three hours away, was down in Indy for the weekend. My truck blew a spark plug out the side of the motor on a Sunday night. With no shops open I only had reviews to go by. This place didn't let me down. I dropped it off with my keys and a note, then went home hoping that they could do the work, and do it at a fair price. I was warned by a local mechanic friend that this could be a very expensive repair, and it would probably take the shop a few days to get to it, but not here. What I feared would be well over $1000 turned out to be only $260. I was hoping I would be able to pick it up by the end of the week, but instead I picked it up the next day do to their speed. I felt so much trust in them because they could of told me anything and in my situation there wasn't anything I could do but accept it, instead they took the time to explain everything to me and didn't try to do anything that didn't need to be done. I felt so much trust in them that I then gave them a list of things to do. They did a great job fixing my truck and giving it a tune up. They got it in quickly, did a great job at a great price. My only concern is now my new mechanic is over three hours away from my house, but to me it's well worth the trip. Will be doing business with you again. Thank you

Prices are competitive and reasonable! Staff is very friendly. Actually prices are great! This WILL be my mechanic from now on! They had given me a quote and even after taxes, it was $30 cheaper than the quote they gave me. My jeep is running even better than it was before I started having certain issues with it. Special shout out to Charles and Dustin. I appreciate your customer service,work and expertise!

Awesome service! I came in from out of town and heard a strange noise in my front end. Dustin checked it out without an appointment by taking it for a test drive and looking at the problem. He assured me the car was safe to drive home and when I asked how much to repair, he offered a very reasonable price. Still deciding whether to do it now or wait. The shop is spotless and comfortable. If I lived here, this would be my go to mechanic.

I ve been going to Sharp s Auto Repair for about a year for small to medium repair jobs -- oil changes, A/C, brakes, shocks, and other miscellaneous problems that occur regularly on vehicles. Each time (over 10 visits), the overall experience has been great. The problem is diagnosed correctly and an estimate provided, then the repair is completed efficiently and at a lower cost than many other places that I had previously been using for auto service. The manager, Dustin, is very knowledgeable and is accommodating to my schedule. Many times, the work is done over a lunch hour and I m on my way back to work (with a little prior scheduling). The location could be closer for convenience but don t mind driving the distance for the great service .. A gem of a business in Indy!

Dustin was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. He diagnosed my problem quickly and put in extra effort to give it a long-term fix--all done quickly and for a great rate. Sharps may well be the best experience I have had with an auto repair shop, and I would recommend it to anyone.

I would recommend Chris to anyone having car issues for a lifetime!!!! He has not only kept his word but went outta his way to do a good on my 69 Buick skylark every time I bring her in lol (she has a name ) . As a women I have never had the feeling of being taken advantage of because I don t know car stuff with Chris. He s a really good person & you can tell that by working with him. His shop is really nice as well as really clean ....not like the many other local shops I ve been to. Although he s usually busy he is definitely worth the wait .

I brought my car in to get the air fixed. They told me what they would need to do and how much it could possibly cost. The were very knowledgeable and friendly. When they called me back to tell me what was wrong and how much it was more than what I was expecting. He explained to me exactly what was wrong and what they would need to do to fix it. I appreciated that he explained everything to me. I didn't feel like they were trying to take advantage of me. I would recommend this place to anyone getting their car fixed. They were GREAT!!!

We were coming from 2 hours away and I had called several places, they were by far the most accommodating and understanding. They ordered the part our vehicle needed and had it ready when we arrived. They charged exactly what was quoted, with more than reasonable labor, and let us know what would need attention soon even though they knew we weren't from there and wouldn't be back.

Awesome experience from secretary/ receptionist, and the time and quality of service and workmanship was great. Impressed that I don't have an appointment to have to get my oil change. First time there and will be back when the need arise.

My Toyota Tundra was having eclectic problems I took it to several mechanics. Finally I found Sharps and they fix the problem when a couple hours. They were friendly and gave me my veterans discount. I was most happy because I have been trying to get this problem fixed for over a month and Sharps fixed it in just a few hours.I would recommended everyone go there
