We had a really good car buying experience at this place. JODRY and RORDRIGO was extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process. Getting financing for first time buyers is never easy and JORDY Really did a good job as well with that. And we love our new Mazda CX-5 !!!

I can honestly say that I love Ray Skillman Mazda West. The people I interface with in the garage are knowledgeable and very friendly. I receive a video every time showing why work is or is not needed, and I can get my own work done at very comfortable work stations (with coffee/snacks!). I plan to go here for all of my auto service needs.

My husband and I bought a 2024 Mazda CX-5 from this dealership over the weekend. We traveled 3 1/2 hours from the St. Louis area to Indy. The car they said was ours (which had just arrived the previous day) was there with a nice red bow on top! Our salesperson, Dylan, was so friendly and helpful and showed me how to use the Infotainment system. The finance manager, Gordy, was also very personable and we were actually laughing and enjoying our time with him. That was a first as those negotiations are often brutal. The Sales Manager, Barry, helped negotiate the sale from the beginning and made the entire process painless and transparent. Thank you to Skillman Mazda West - we are thoroughly enjoying our new CX-5!!

Keenan was the most unprofessional salesman I have ever worked with. He tried to get me to buy a car without seeing it. When I said no, he would get very upset. He was so pushy and was not friendly at all. The next day he called me and said be a normal person and call me back. He did not deserve my business nor did I want to give him my business. Later on after I told him I was not interested, he called me again and asked me if I was still interested and I said no and he hung up on me. I bought a car elsewhere the following day and was so happy I did.

A simple call answered by a very unprofessional staff member: My husband had to cancel our cars service due to a family emergency and we got charged a restock fee of $165 for parts. I m familiar with such fees and willing to own it but he was never told this at the dealer nor does any of the paperwork provided to him or their website state such policy. He had already told me he was treated poorly over the phone when questioning such policy so I decided to call since I wanted to be better informed on this policy and so that we wouldn t be charged for items that don t fall under this policy since it s not listed on the receipt nor online. After requesting to speak with a service supervisor, I explained why I was calling and that I just wanted to see where we could find such policy. He got very defensive immediately and his tone changed and stated that he had already spoken with my husband. I replied kindly that I knew that but that I just wanted to see if they could email me or him (since they have his email/info) a copy of the their policy where it lists their restock fees. He said my husband needed to call and that I could not call on behalf of my husband to which I said I can get verbal permission if needed. But he said nobody can ask about his car except him . This concerned me since he was very rude and not true at all! Legally my husband is allowed to give verbal consent if they can confirm his information, and I ve done it many times. So I kept calm and I asked, as a new costumer, could I get a copy of your policy where it states you have a restock fee , but again he replied in a very rude tone that I needed to get that in person. My husband has purchased two cars from this dealer and has taken his cars to get serviced there since around 2016 but I will make sure he takes his business elsewhere. If I called as a new costumer requesting information and I m treated like this, you bet we will be reporting this to the BBB. We shouldn t have to drive to the dealer to get proof of why the dealer is keeping $165 of our money. If it s a policy why will the dealer not provide the written policy?

I purchased a car from here for $8,500 a few months ago. The next day it made a loud noise upon cold start. I'm not a car guy, so I turned the car off and turned it back on and no noise this time. Didn't think it was a big issue. Took it on a long trip and there was a knocking noise and then the oil light came on. Turns out the $8500 car has several oil leaks and a faulty timing chain. Something that I'm certain the dealer knew when they sold the car. I called the dealer and they said all they could do for me was a $100+ diagnostic fee to see what all is wrong. Tough stuff, Lotta money down the drain.

I had the worst experience ever here. Took a car for a test drive and the brakes failed on me and ended up in a wreck. The salesman Keenan Hoffman took off with the car leaving me and my niece to walk back to the dealership. Upon arriving at the dealership I was told to exchange info with the car I hit! I WAS TEST DRIVING THEIR CAR!!! we did call non emergency police so we could get a report. The manager Vince Stennet? Was rude and unprofessional to me and the girl who's car I hit. I feel he needs to go back to customer service school cause he sure didn't show any to me or the girl I hit.

Daren is a rock star. Ever since I moved to the area, I've had a number of issues arise with my vehicle at the hands of others, and Daren (the Service department as a whole) has been extremely helpful, accommodating and friendly! I loved the service at my local dealership where I bought my car, but I can rest easier at night knowing that my new, local dealership is top notch. I've been very unfair in my requests to the team and they've always taken it in stride and made sure I was taken care of and have never once been nasty, unwelcoming or anything else I might expect of another business elsewhere when met with my issues.Can't say enough good things about the Fixed Ops at Ray Skillman Mazda West!

Thanks, Christian, Owen and Barry for bringing a great Mazda CX-3 to my house for my house for me to test drive, then giving my old Saab a home so I can enjoy a modern, stylish, safe ride for me to use to teach my teenage daughter to drive! I'm stoked to have great gas mileage and the ability to transport my massage table! Plus, this futboler appreciates that other futbolers got this deal done for me with maximum efficiency. Thanks for being there - and taking your COVID protocols seriously! Also, I walked in as a woman on a solo buying mission and you guys didn't talk down to me. My kind of guys! Thanks!P.S. Only good things to say about these guys. Worked with both Jon and Vince to lease my CX-5 and the experience was flawless. They worked with me to reach the price I wanted to pay and I left really happy. No pushy sales tactics here and it really shows through great customer experience. Would highly recommend these guys.

I haven t experienced customer service this amazing in so long. I was greeted the minute I parked for my service appointment. Given a tour of the area in order to enjoy my wait. Was kept updated via text and video! Showing what they found wrong in my car. Overall the best experience I ve ever had having my car serviced. Just wow!

Some wonderful cars bought at this dealership. Working with Adam has been a very nice experience. Unfortunately the finance manager can be quite mercurial and does not deal well with Black racial difference if that difference fails to conform to his own notions of how a Black person must conform to some widespread and basic untruths customers typically face at car dealerships, including his own. In a conversation with this manager today he hung up on me as I was explaining how race plays a role in car buying experiences. He apparently believes that because he has visited Harlem, he is free of racial bias. Nonetheless, Mazda cars are wonderful vehicals.

I was so impressed with them even when I called to ask to drive their cars. The first person I spoke to was Drew Levy. Totally awesome on the phone but even more awesome in person. When I got there, I worked with Jonathan Thornburg. Excellent sales person! I had a request for him to show me other vehicles on other Ray Skillman lots. He took me to the lost and let me see the others which saved me 3 trips to other dealers and the hassle of having to explain my needs. Honestly, you can't get better than these guys or this place. They were totally awesome and I actually look forward to going back and having my oil hanged just so I can talk to them again. They are knowledgeable, personable, professional and they listened to my needs. I feel like they actually cared about my needs, payed attention to details, delivered what I asked for and I got EXACTLY what I went in there for, an excellent quality, reliable automobile that I intend to drive for years to come. Thanks to all there for one of the best car buying experiences I've ever had. You guys are excellent. I will certainly refer you and shop there again!!!

My experience was overall pretty satisfying. I had my mind torn between two vehicles a pick up or an SUV. Both needed to be AWD. The employee that helped me decide showed me different vehicles of both variants. He was knowledgeable about every vehicle and even showed me all the gadgets and gizmos that came with. Overall, it was quick and easy and didn't take very long.

Today I stopped in for service on our car. Peyton, who helped us this summer when we found ourselves unexpectedly needing a vehicle, was in and I said hello. He asked after my husband by name, even though we haven t seen him since one June evening. Not only that, the oil change was free because they had a special for teachers in September. Cost and quality are deciding factors for a purchase. Service and making me feel appreciated will keep me coming back. I highly recommend this dealership.

I had an excellent experience at this dealer. I was on a long driving trip and needed an oil change and tire rotation. After calling another dealer in the area who couldn't get me in I spoke with Daren at Ray Skillman who was very upbeat and eager to make an appointment for me on short notice. When I arrived Daren was just a accommodating and friendly as he had been over the phone. The service was done quickly with high quality oil (Valvoline full synthetic), I received a 'report card' on my vehicle (everything good) and Daren applied a $10 coupon for the service! I wish that I could transplant this dealership to where I live....the service was excellent all around!!

Absolutely the best place to buy a vehicle in INDIANA the manager here is phenomenal!!! Which means his staff are nothing less than the ideal people you want to trust when making a vehicle purchase. I will always buy Ray Skillman and you should also if you want honest sales guys who truly want to help get your family into a great vehicle!!! for amazing prices , buying a vehicle is an investment and you have to pick the right people to work with! if I could give them 20 stars it still wouldn't be enough for what they deserve!! I can't even forget the finance manager and the wealth of knowledge he shared with me... not to mention the amazing approval from the credit union he was able to get for my new vehicle!!! If you buy a car anywhere else in this state your truly ripping yourself off. Take my word for it and buy your next vehicle here!!!

Excellent experience. I was in no rush, shopped around every dealership with CX-5 trim I wanted within 250 miles of me (I m in Chicago), researched a bunch. Other places gave lots of the typical BS you might expect when buying a car, but everyone at Skillman West was professional. Didn t do the hard sell technique, kept focus on what mattered to me personally (total cost, particular features, easy acquisition during COVID, etc.), could not have been more professional or easy to work with. Josh Stewart happened to be the guy who took care of me, and he was great, but so was everyone else I spoke with during my long/patient buying process at this dealer. Plus, I got a fantastic deal I feel great about. This place really is a cut above all the other dealerships I contacted, so I m writing this review out of respect for the professional culture they ve got going - I wish this type of culture were less rare.

Great Experience.My wife and I spent most of our Saturday, (2/12/22) test driving cars, with a very specific car in mind, in the Indianapolis area. We drove from an hour away.We started our journey based on a car that we had first viewed on a dealer's website. That particular car turned out to be, well, not for us.On a whim, we googled similar cars in the area. That took us to 3 different dealers, until ended our search at Ray Skillman Mazda West. We were greeted by salesman Dylan, who practically tackled us getting in the building. I started skeptical.Dylan had to go to another Ray Skillman lot (nearby) to get the car. When Dylan returned, we were introduced to Ivan, a new hire who would be shadowing Dylan. We went for our test drive.I explained to Dylan (and Ivan) during our test drive that we were familiar with the 'games' dealers play, and that should we decide to purchase this car, we need to be in and out of this dealership in 2 hours. We had an event to attend an hour away. I expressed to Dylan, should we come to an agreement, I didn't want to speak to 3 managers, (or even 4), to simply get me the manager who can move the numbers. He did exactly that. No hassle in waiting.Next, we were greeted with Vince - 'the manager.' The dealer ran my trade value, and came in about $2k less than what I was expecting. There was no haggling, I asked Vince: "If you can make this number say xyz, you will have my business." Vince made that happen in 5 minutes, with no argument. He pushed the trade value up $2k.Next, we were shipped off to Chris in the finance department. Excellent service from Chris. Ran our applications and got us through the financing portion in about 25 minutes. We signed our paperwork, set our terms and then had a set of keys in our hand.Dylan informed us that he would be happier if we would let the detailer work the car prior to our departure. Here's the thing: the car was basically spotless. I told him Dylan I appreciated the offer, but we had to go.Needless to say; the dealership met all of our requests, all individuals were incredibly friendly (even the tough-manager) and we test drove, traded, financed, and got in and out of the dealer in about 2 hours and 15 minutes.Thank you, Dylan (and trainee, Ivan), Vince, and Chris. This service was EXCEPTIONAL. Once we left, my wife even commented, "when I am ready to trade my car, I want to come back here."Most importantly, we feel like we won. If Ray Skill Mazda West could get 10 stars, I would give them 10.

Excellent service experience! Darren and the team were very helpful! The fuel pump went out on my CX-5 and I needed the car repaired before the warranty expired. I was able to get my car towed and repaired very quickly within Mazda warranty. One of the best auto repair experiences I've had. Highly recommend!
