I came here about 2 weeks ago needing a reliable vehicle for an affordable price. I came in knowing what I wanted to look at, and Dennys was very knowledgeable about both of the products I was interested in. He answered every question I had, and got me hooked up with a Honda Accord that fit my needs by the end of the week! They were very clear and concise about the details of their products and payment expectations; in addition to being very accommodating in the process! Definitely a 5 star car buying experience and would recommend to anyone asking for dealership recommendations.

I had such an amazing experience here. I went to plenty of locations to look for my new vehicle and I have to say that the customer service has been nothing short but stellar.Henry did such an amazing job describing the 2024 Sonata. Afterwards, Jake the financial guru truly gave me an amazing experience.I would recommend coming here any day.Thank you!

Ladies, steer clear of this place and their predatory service tream. The service department is exactly the ones they warned us about who takes advantage of women who don't know cars. I've tried to service my vehicle at this location multiple times over the last three years and the service workers are useless and lie about the work done. I have paid for several services from them only to come home and discover they didn't even do what they charged me for. Like changing air cabin filter but not changing anything. Or saying they drove it but not a single new mile on the odometer. They even charged me a service fee for a factory recall last year. This place has made a fool of me three times and I'm done.

I dealt with Patrick, Rick, and Nick during my time using Skillman Hyundai West, and each of them were up-front, professional, and polite in all dealings. I had a warranty issue with my Hyundai that was accepted with next to no hiccups, and work was completed to a high degree in an exceptionally quick time frame-- I am thoroughly impressed with the degree of care and expeditiousness of work done here, and will be bringing my Hyundai back here for any service needs moving forward.

I was in this place and I received excellent attention. I am delighted, I do not speak English and they have Spanish-speaking staff there, they did an oil change for me and they were very attentive and fast. I did not have an appointment, I arrived and they took great care of me. I am very satisfied with their care and services. Thanks guys!

UPDATE 11.16.23:I have had this vehicle for 9 months now and at the 8 month mark, my car started smoking when I m driving it and often times worse when running the heat. I took it in last week for the initial look and they told me there was an oil leak and oil was everywhere underneath. They cleaned it and put some dye in it and had me come back on 11.15.23, only for me to find out my vehicle is leaking oil in several places and I have several gaskets that are bad and need to be replaced.Now when I took my car in to get the oil changed in September (which is the time that it was due to be brought in per the sticker on the vehicle when I purchased it), this wasn t addressed or told to me. And I have reason to believe when I brought it in around that time for the oil change, they put the wrong mileage in because when I called to set up the appointment, they asked for my mileage and tried to tell me I m due for an oil change again.I only drive my car to work and back so I know they put that mileage in incorrectly. But back to my follow up diagnostic appointment: I was basically told that I now have to pay over $3400 for repairs when I have not even had the car for a year. When I went and spoke with Danielle in the lease here pay here center, she said that all their vehicles are as-is, no warranty and the customer is responsible for any repairs . So long story short, I would not recommend coming here for a car. Unfortunately, when I had no other options of getting a car elsewhere, I was sold a vehicle that they knew had problems. If you re considering going to them for a car, I would think twice. I will never again go here to purchase a vehicle.**************************************************I went to the Ray Skillman on Pike Plaza Road in Indianapolis and dealt with Henry. He was very nice, helpful and helped me get approved for a very nice vehicle. When I came into the lot, I was not in the greatest of moods not was I feeling very optimistic about the visit. I had been without a vehicle for about 4 months and pretty much screwed over by a second-chance auto company that I had dealt with for 10 years. I had been going to every used car lot I could think of and was getting turned down left and right. So when I landed at Ray Skillman, I was already preparing to be turned away, but Henry & Danielle really came through for me and got me approved. My car payments are very reasonable and I love my car. I highly recommend this dealership & this location. I will continue doing business with them when it comes to getting a car from now on. I wish I had gone to them 10 years ago instead of Oak Motors.

I went to test drive and make an offer on a car. Salesmen was very nice and worked with me when it came to the price. I could tell, however, that if I was uneducated on what the car was worth, or got talked into extended warranties/paint protection plans I would be financing much more than the car was worth.I could immediately tell that they didn't like my first offer on the car, but after 30-45 minutes they decided that since the car was on the lot for months they were okay with my price. Once I got into finance I was surprised that they only offered an extremely overpriced tire protection plan and an almost $5,000 60,000 mile warranty. I immediately turned them down.Everything else was okay, I financed through my own bank so I didn't have to worry about them running my credit 8+ times. I was slightly disappointed that they left me with 20 miles of gas in the tank, so my first stop after purchasing was to the gas station.A few days later I went back to return the dealer plate and pick up my temp tag. I asked if they were going to fill my tank up (something that should be done to every single car purchased at a dealership) and was told that they "only fill a quarter tank on used cars". Doesn't make much sense to me, so again my first stop after leaving was another gas station. Also not even an offer to wash the car before I left.Overall I would say my experience was average. If I haven't had much experience working at a dealership or didn't know a few common sales tactics I would've easily overpaid for the car, so just be on the lookout for that when shopping here and be ready to walk away:)

I can't say if they do good work, but when their policies are to even ask about getting work done are as poor as they are, I would suspect their actual service is just as bad. I understand that a business this size is large enough to need to protect itself from unscrupulous individuals and I assume that is the motivation behind not giving estimates for repairs. Everyone knows that repairs thru a dealership are going to be expensive, but it is a poor practice to not give even a ballpark estimate for a repair that other mechanics have told me needs to be done. I could understand giving the estimate with a caveat that said estimate is not valid until after they have done their own inspection, but they charge over $100 for that inspection and if they were to tell me then that their repair is more than I could afford, that is money - and time - lost. FURTHERMORE, I called about getting a 2nd key made and was told they wouldn't guarantee the key to work. i.e. If it did not work, I could not get a refund. Amazing. So, not only does the dealership charge more than it should in the 1st place by virtue of being a dealership, they won't guarantee their parts and service. I lament the fact that this is the only Hyundai dealership in Hendricks county. I am enjoying owning and driving my 2007 Accent. I just hope and pray I will continue to find alternatives to having to utilize Ray Skillman Avon Hyundai for parts or service.

Even tho I live much closer to dealerships on the north side, I will only take my Palisade here. I experienced an engine problem on June 10. The N ville location wouldn t even schedule me til JULY 25 - they expected me to not use my vehicle for 6 weeks!! RSHW let me send the car to them and looked at it the next day. I had my car back in a week. Unfortunately the problem was a little trickier than realized and when the error message popped 2 weeks later and just 5 days before our summer road-trip, they got me right back in and I had my car in time to leave for vacation.I cannot say enough good things about Patrick and Nick who not only paid attention to what I was telling them but understood our predicament and went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help us. Nick even called after just to check in and see how it handled on the trip. These guys are the best. Unlike the north side dealers who make it clear they don t care at all about timeliness or that you need to have use of you vehicle, RSHW gets it. Thank you so much.

Bought my first new car, my fourth car from Ray Skillman. Service is amazing, staff always goes above and beyond. Austin Burns has to be one of the easiest salesmen to work with, he is charismatic and not pushy. Over all another great experience buying a car from Ray Skillman.

Buying a car here was a great experience! My wife was looking at getting a new Tucson and the people at Ray Skillman Hyundai West made it easy and enjoyable. The salesman, Andrew Broady, was very helpful and transparent through the whole process. The manager, Jeff, was kind and always looking out for us as well. And we ended up with a great vehicle in the end that we love! Would definitely recommend getting a car here.

Walked in and was greeted with a smile and hand wave by one of the managers-- Dave Pittman and Product Specialist Henry Velezquez-- they treated me like royalty!! Mr Shultz the finance mgr was also so friendly and worked with me and got a great interest rate!. Everyone at Ray Skillman Hyundai are super friendly -- I left the dealership without having any regrets. I loved the Red carpet set up and giant red bow Henry placed on my new car-- we took photo's! What a nice surprise!! This has to be the best dealership in the city-- hands down!!! Some of the staff even give great hugs! Ray Skillman Hyundai you ROCK!!!

Great service yet again. I really appreciate the honesty given regarding my car and needed repairs. The service department has always been super nice, easy to schedule repairs with, and helpful when I've had questions. I've scheduled online before, and just drove in hoping they could work me in and was treated exceptionally well all times. Great Group of people hands down they make the repair costs much easier to handle.

Great place to purchase a vehicle, Sales team is excellent.Service---if it's a simple wait and go (oil, brakes) it is fine. If it will require actual repairs, due to warranty or breakdown don't expect strong customer service, communications, or updates.

I arrived at my appointment 5 minutes early. I gave them my name and confirmed I was there for an oil change. The tech mentioned there was a recall on my vehicle for a tow hitch. I told him I didn't have one. He inspected my vehicleand said "youre right...ill just have to take a picture to document there is no work to be done"After 90 minutes I asked a representative what was taking so long. He went to inspect and told me that they "had to complete the recall on the tow hitch" after another 30 minutes I went to the bay to find out how much longer. The tech told me "well...yours had a 7 pin which is why its taking longer" I explained that I didn't have a hitch and that I didn't want/need the recall. He said "we have to do it". I told him I should have been given the option since I hadn't planned on that and that I had another appointment I needed to get too.Shortly after, he brought my paperwork and said I was ready to go. However, the car they pulled around was NOT MY CAR! He seemed confused when I said i drive a white Santa Cruz NOT gray. Another 5 minutes elapsed until my car was brought out. I venture a guess that the GRAY Santa Cruz DID have a tow hitch and that mine had been mishandled in confusion.I find it completely unacceptable that it took so long. To be told I was waiting for almost an hour for a .non existent recall to be done is ridiculous. Any time I've brought a vehicle to a dealer and there was a recall I was ALWAYS given the option to have it done or rescheduled since people have to plan their time. Had I known it would take 2 hours for a scheduled oil change I would have rescheduled or gone somewhere else.

I was told no coupons were available yet, but a good friend who took his car in earlier the same day got a coupon discount, plus a free car wash, inside was vacuumed, and proof of a 21 point check-list. I didn't get any of that and paid more. Consistancy???

I am currently looking at trading in my VW Tiguan because I have a lot of equity in my car and there are some pretty good lease specials that would be substantially cheaper for comparable features.I reached out to RS today and someone in sales was very polite, however, they advised there is not a car lease eligible for the current promotion in over 250+ miles of Indianapolis. And that it was important I come in to get my trade in valued and look at higher trim vehicles.In less than 5 minutes I found and confirmed with two other dealerships in Indiana they had the exact model I needed to get the lease promotion.I am not opposed to looking at higher trim vehicles but there is no need for lying, just be transparent...

This is a terrible dealer ship. They made a deal to transfer my plates to the new car and lost my plates and never reimbursed me for my plates like they promised. They kept on rescheduling my service appointments. The full warranty does not cover anything. Go to Mazda. Mazda provided great customer service and provided me a wonderful and affordable car.

I went in yesterday for my first service appointment for my new Tucson and instead of just receiving an oil change and a tire rotation, it s not like I m driving an entirely different car (and not in a good way). It s like my car was entirely reset. None of my driver assist functions are currently working. My display and settings are completely different than what they were before I took the car in. I don t understand how I go in for an oil change and come out with a worse car than before I went in!

They damaged my car and are currently refusing to take responsibility to fix it. My car was working perfectly when I took it in for a recall. They installed a software update and now it will not shift back into park and the power locks no longer work. A third party mechanic verified the damages were caused by the Hyundai dealership incorrectly installing the software update. I had to file a complaint with Hyundai.

We just bought a new 2023 Hyundai Elantra! It was the quickest experience I have ever had buying a car. They didn t keep us there needlessly and I really appreciated how helpful our salesmen, Henry, was! He was very knowledgeable and friendly! Jake in the finance department did an awesome job getting us a great deal. We will definitely be back if and when we are in need for a new car!

We had a great experience here when we brought our 2012 Elantra in for a steering issue. Brantly Batton was amazing as our key contact. He was an excellent representative of the dealership. He was polite, good listener, respectful and a great communicator of the status. We will definitely come back to this location even though it's farther than another Hyundai dealership.
