This is the place. Not only is the work and service tremendous and reasonable,but have a long Indianapolis roots. As a USAC racing fan was impressed at the history on the wall. Even saw IU posters from back in the day..

Rude, judgemental employee who probably didn't even bother to quote us the correct rates for the services we asked about. I don't know what it was but something made him look at us like we were pure trash when we walked in the door laughing about our conversation prior to opening the door. We stepped in and I'm telling you the look on his face was just revulsion and disgust. He looked about as disgusted as anyone I may have ever seen. We asked some questions and he was just randomly saying numbers. One price actually went up $20 in like 10 seconds. I'm sorry the guy had a chip on his shoulder about something. Anyway, I don't think I'll be back. I needed a diagnosis for my poor Bruce (that's my SUV'S name) because he's running like crap! He's chugging and coughing and burning more gas! I needed prices so I can save up for the repairs! I was going to give them my business. They came highly recommended! Now I just don't know. Buuuuuut do I let one bad apple spoil the whole bushel?

Had taken my vehicle to the dealership Andy Mohr and Goodyear tires prior to coming here, and the loud noise that it was making was still there. I was told that I should try taking my car here. Dropped it off at 8 am. Was told what was wrong with it before 9:30am. Was told that it was done by 11am. I had gotten a rental because the other two shops kept my car overnight. I took the rental back, and my car was quiet again. I am extremely happy with the service I received. I have driven my car for hours before doing this review to make sure everything is good, and it most definitely is.

I read the reviews and I didn't experience anything horrible! They answered the phones and there wasn't any issues with my car being dropped off by tow ! Just be pleasant they are very busy!

Came to drop a car off at Ralph s muffler my customer called and advised a tow truck was bringing their vehicle which was a bus and they was expecting they told him to bring the vehicle Jeff the Service advisor at Ralph s muffler was very rude I told him I m here to drop customers vehicle a church bus. First he start telling me that ll be $1100 I don t know what that has to do with me. I m just tow divertook all my customers information when I got there . Jeff told me to drop The vehicle . My advisor informational that the vehicle driveshaft is pulled and battery is dead. He became very rude and say take the vehicle back with you where do you want me to take the vehicle you told the customer you can work on their vehicle

My grandbaby was life flighted here to Indy from South Bend. Half way between home and Indy my car started to make a noise which I assumed was my brakes grinding. I pushed through and made it the rest of the way here. I knew there was no way I would make it back home once we were released. I started to look for a local shop close to the hospital and stumbled across Ralph s. I called explained my situation and the noise I was hearing. Was told to bring in the car and let them look at it. I took my car and was told they probably wouldn t be able to do it that day so I left the car expecting I wouldn t hear back until the next day. I got a call that evening and was told it wasn t the brakes and that it was most likely my ball joint or bearings, but that it was too late and they would take a better look at it first thing in the am. I received a call shortly after they opened telling me that it was neither and my thermo cover had come loose and was rubbing on my driveshaft. They tightened it and my car was good as new!! No charge!!Being a woman hundreds miles from home and desperate I could have been badly taken advantage of!! But these gentlemen took care of the issue honestly!! I would recommend them a hundred times over!! Thanks guys!!

Good prices, friendly staff, very efficient. They replaced and my catalytic converter and welded the exhaust pipe in less than an hour.

Randy is Awesome!!! I called a hour before they closed at 6:00pm and was supposed to be here within 5 mins but made it here at 5:30pm on a Friday and he still was willing to install the new catalytic converters I bought.Thanks Randy!

I was there today and Jeff helped me with my exhaust work he was very knowledgeable and polite to me had me in and out in 30 minutes and gave me a great price for the work I will definitely be back if I need work done on my vehicle thanks again Jeff

This muffler shop always seems reasonable. The guys have always pointed out the issues and what they are able to do. As a woman, it can be hard to trust someone with your car. I will continue to go to this muffler shop. They've been great.

Customer service is not in their vocabulary, went in this morning, associate at the counter was incredibly rude almost to the point of calling my mother a liar after she had stated she spoke with another associate the day before who had asked her to bring the car in today because they were busy yesterday.Will be sure to tell all of our friends and family exactly how some of their employees treat customers.I refuse to roll the dice on how I will be treated when spending money with an establishment.I highly recommend the Midas in Plainfield any day over this store.

This owner is very unprofessional he made me wait 2 hours to tell me he can't do my car wen I went for something simple a exhaust leak he started putting excuses and call me jork cause I was upset of wasting all my time there I do not recommend this place plus it smells like marihuana outside the property very strong smell. This is the getto defenetly

Place is definitely busy...no appointment, first come first served. I went twice in one day the first time he told me it will take a couple of hours, so I said that I would come back. I came back expecting to wait a couple hours, but he actually meant it will be a couple hours before they would even pull my car in to look at it. No thank you! For that reason this place should take appointments. The first time I went the guy wrote my name down with my phone number and when I told him that I was going to leave and come back he said "I have to take your name off the list" So again why not just take an appointment because who have the time to sit and wait for a couple of hours.

Being robbed in Indianapolis of my converter. This shop went the extra yard to do the job quickly and professionally. The price was reasonable and done quickly. Go here if you need work done. I was very impressed and the staff told me how they liked working there and it showed

The guys did a decent job working on manifolds for a classic company RV. However, after the work was completed, there were exhaust fumes in the cab. They told us to bring the vehicle back, and they would take a look. We'll see.

My mechanic recommended Ralph's to replace the catalytic converter that he wasn't able to do. I dropped my car off at 8am and they called me at 8:30 to tell me it was the cat resonator only that needed replaced. What I thought was going to cost up to 1000 cost 150. Car was done at 9am. Hands down the best experience I've ever had at a repair shop and they've gained a new loyal customer. Thanks guys! Car is running great.Service: Exhaust

Still have to go pick up truck but had a muffler n tail pipe put on. We'll see how quite she is and then I will give another rate and review. Update since I've had my truck there. They did a wonderful job I can't even here my truck running when I start it. Thank you Ralph's. Great job well done.

Not a very good first experience with this place. I was told it was a first come first serve basis for service at this location, so I dropped my car off around 9:30 this morning (the soonest I could get there) to have the muffler looked at. The guy told me it would be a couple hours or possibly about an hour. Then walked back into the shop. Didn t bother to ask me if I planned on waiting or not. I couldn t wait there as I had to work, so I had to poke my head in the garage and ask if I should leave my keys. He came into the lobby and took my keys, name, and phone number and said again to give them a couple of hours. I called in about 2.5 hours later and they said they hadn t even looked at it, but that it was next in line and they would call me when they knew the issue. 3 more hours go by, I call again, they tell me they still haven t looked at it, to which I reiterated that they had told me it would only be a couple of hours until my car would be ready. He told me that it had only been a couple of hours. I said it had been five hours since I dropped off my car. He said that s not possible. I told him I dropped my car off at 9:30am and it was now 2:30. I asked him if he thought they would get to it today and he said we should be able to and that they would call me when they were looking at it (even though he said my car was next in line 3 hours prior). It s now been almost another hour and no call. Very disappointed in this service.

It took me 3 days of trying to get a car in for brake work. You have to be here at 7:30 to be 5th in line. Very popular because they do good work at a fair price. I would recommend them. This was my 4th time there for various reasons. Always good work..

The best prices and most honest muffler shop in Indianapolis. I always recommend them to everyone that I know, you might have to wait for a while, but the wait is worth it, because of there quality work and there honesty. I would give them 30 stars if I could.

I've been going to this establishment for a life time. I'm a Westsider....My truck was running hot according to the temperature gage.Mike figured out I had air trapped in the system after a minor repair to the scanis lanis on the regis pobby!Long story short.. If I have car trouble, I'm going to Ralph's.

Great experience! I got my car fixed on a Thursday full tune up. When I left it started leaking oil. Took it back up there, they admitted their mistake fixed it no problem. Car had been running great since. Great customer service!

Been there twice so far once for an exhaust replacement which only took about 20-30min and today just to get my brakes bled which took 15-20min. Nice place staffs cool and from what I ve seen they don t over charge you. It is first come first serve so I recommend getting there early! 5 stars!
