Such a great experience with these guys today. My car died while pumping gas at the nearby gas station and I called them suspecting it was something related to my battery. Without hesitation, the gentleman came to my location across the street and was able to troubleshoot it on the spot. So thankful for their kindness and prompt response. Will definitely be using them for all of my auto repair needs!

My alternator died on me. They fixed my issue in half a day. They are fair, and they do great work. They just did more repairs to my front end and got it fixed in a timely manner.

Best experience. Mark and Randy are the best. Had an alternator replaced 1 day at a good price. I will definitely go back for all my auto repairs. I live on the east side of Indy and will always bring my cars to these guys.

I needed a pre-purchase inspection on a 2019 Toyota I'm purchasing from out of state, so I called Plainfield and spoke with Randy. Not only did he inspect the vehicle immediately, but he didn't even charge me because the inspection didn't require much time for a low mileage vehicle. Thank you Randy for giving me peace of mind, spotting issues I didn't know about, and for stellar service.

Plainfield Auto Repair saves the day!! I am from Columbus, Ohio, traveled to family in Plainfield with an immediate flight to Florida. My BMW began to have problems on the interstate and limped into Indiana. P.A.R. took my call from Florida, diagnosed and fixed my car in 24 hours ON A FRIDAY so that I could drive home on Sunday. Always keeping my ride on the road so I can keep working. Mark and Andrew are top notch mechanics. Knowledgeable and skilled. To date they have repaired the rear seal in my transmission, replaced link pins in my suspension, and fixed everything in the manual setup from the cables to the clutch in my car. My car has never driven better. They have also serviced the brakes and done all of the oil changes since the first time I've gone there. From regular maintenance and service to emergency repairs they've handled everything smoothly kept me in the loop as far as the timeline and any snags that they were going to encounter. Can't thank you enough gentlemen!!

Y'all, I cannot overstate this, they are amazing.I've had to have a lot of work done on my '08 Subaru Outback, from the coil pack going out, to my rear calipers dying, to replacing the head gasket and water pump, they did all of it and more, and did so with great communication, awesome customer service, wonderful professionalism, top notch quality, and incredible timeliness. All while helping my wallet the best they could while still running a business.I will continue to go to them for any work I might have for any of my vehicles in the future. If they can do the work, you can rest easy knowing they'll do it properly.

I love being able to give great reviews !Brought my Chrysler Pacifica to this business with no appointment today (Tuesday ), to diagnose a check engine light was the result of small evaporative emissions leak detected.Fifteen minutes later my van was in the shop ! Thirty minutes later diagnosed and the part was ordered and on its way to the shop.I was out of there in less 90 minutes with the repair completed. If you are considering a place that will provide amazing service with quality and realistic pricing, look no further !If I could give 10 stars , I would ! Support the small businesses , leave the dealership to warranty work, which is how their ridiculous profit margins are generated. Looking forward to canceling my appointment with the dealer which took me two weeks to schedule:Thank you Randy and Elizabeth .***** So it s a year later and time to update the experience. Since my 1st post my vehicles have visited this location always to keep them running like new. From Brakes to oil changes to transmissions, Randy. I took my 16 Ford Focus ST to Plainfield Auto after a dismal experience at Andy Mohr down the road. I wish I would ve started using them earlier. I took in my 2013 Honda Odyssey after my check engine light came on. Mark was very knowledgeable and able to tell me what was going on right away. What I was afraid would be a large issue Mark was able to narrow down and fix the problem. I appreciate his honesty, punctual, and quality work. I am torn on this, reason is they do great work on normal vehicles as in a gas engine.However when it comes to a diesel stay clear. My truck had gas motor oil put in which grew sticky and caused my engine to start heating up and could of gotten way worse. I was told when picking up they had and extra bolt but they threw it away (just like all the parts I asked to keep). That extra bolt belong to my starter and cost 50 dollars from Ford. After finding out about the oil my new mechanic found that my oil cooler tower is missing the spring and damaged. (Email was sent on 23 December 2021) in regards to the oil issue with photo proof of the oil being yellow. No response when normally they respond quickly.Over all great people just wouldn't let them mess with a diesel. And make sure if you request your bad parts you get them.Update 12Jan2022: no update on email about wrong oil being put into truck. Now a mechanic is telling me that the oil cooler this shop replaced my not of been replaced. Still being looked into. Taking to a 3rd shop for their inspection. Also due to faulty oil and wrong coolant in my 6.0, I blew a head gasket and water pump locked up. So after I get more appraisals from other shops I will be finding another solution.Remember folks keep all your old parts don't let shops throw things away.

I had to have a couple of different things repaired, including the a/c and a new door handle. Mark completed these repairs quickly and professionally. The whole process was handled with ease. After another local place ruined my engine by not putting in the oil filter correctly on a simple oil change, Mark was able to replace the motor(with a used one of course)in my Infiniti. Very knowledgeable mechanics! Found my new go to place for any and all auto repair!
