Service Manager was very courteous and knowledgeable about what the service entailed and offered advise on maintenance. Service Technician was very detailed ( with inspection of my vehicle), and agile in the execution of his duties. He installed four tires (and put back my valve stem caps), professionally and sooner than I expected. Overall, the service I received exceeded my expectations.

Was sent here after my regular place turned me away because they were too backed up and said they couldn t check my tire. I walked right in and was helped immediately. the staff was thoughtful, kind, and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

We had a tail light out and DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO (I mean, we knew we had to change it but didn't know exactly how) and we were passing through Indiana and this Pep Boys was right on the way and we got right in and SHANNON THE WONDERFUL WOMAN WHO WORKED THERE FIXED IT RIGHT AWAY EASILY AND WAS SUPER NICE AND I HOPE SHE GETS TO VISIT TAMPA IN MARCH LIKE SHE WANTS TO (WE LEARNED SOME THINGS ABOUT EACH OTHER'S LIVES WHICH WAS NICE ALSO). Capital letters added for enthusiasm. Pep Boys, give Shannon a raise! Everyone, go to this Pep Boys and ask for Shannon (but go quick because soon hopefully she'll be the president of the company or rich enough to retire).

every time i ve called here in the last two months there was either no one in service during prime work hours and now there s no one in the entire store who can answer the phone? if ya closing nay do so and disconnect the number and if you re staying open and wonder why sales suck across the boards this might be why

I scheduled my appointment for front brake service the day before, and they were able to squeeze me in. Got the work done in a matter of hours with only a cpl techs working. Got a nice discount and walked out happy. The brakes turned out pretty good too.

Horrible Service & CommunicationI scheduled service on the AC over a month ago. When my daughter took the vehicle in they informed her they needed to order a part and they scheduled another appointment. She went to the next appointment and waited for nearly 2 hours when they told her it would not be ready that day. Then the following day they kept being very vague saying they didn t have an estimate. After all this time went by they told us they didn t even have the correct part!!!! So we went and picked the car back up. They told us they will call as soon as the post comes in. They never called. Their communication is HORRIBLE. Plus after they did their initial inspection they got the interior filthy . The driver seat now has black smeared on it. I JUST PURCHASED THIS CAR.

Rude employees, Took forever to get my call answered, Once I was able to speak with someone I started to explained in detail what I was looking for but he transferred me to another department, So then i speak with someone in that department and to my amazement neither person I spoke with could answer any of my questions, It's so hard to get knowledgeable, respectful, hardworking employees these days, Customer service is a major problem in America and with companies being so desperate for good employees or in many cases ANY employee that wants to actually work versus collecting unemployment checks those companies have lowered their standards and are hiring idiots, morons, imbeciles, entitled, disrespectful, lazy, slow, and in many cases thieves or just criminals of various varieties, But mainly they are hiring the youth of this generation and i can tell you from experience dealing with this Generation's teenage customer service, And if you are a business owner and you care anything for your reputation you will stop hiring these kids.

Though it looks like parts would be available, the store is no longer operating as a retailer. Offers full range automotive services at reasonable prices, and provides well-explained quotes upfront. Mechanics come out to customer waiting area to confirm details, and the desk manager is very friendly and helpful, especially with describing options for tire choices, which was the reason for my visit. Quick diagnostics and fast turnaround, it is a nice place to go for professional service on Indy east side.

I just had my tires rotated and balanced. Also had the spare tire repaired. The service attendants and mechanics were very nice.

Very poor communication and customer service. Was given several different times of when my car was going to be ready over the course of 3 days. Each time it was it s going to be the first car . When I was finally able to go pick up the vehicle the manager argued with my husband over being charged more than we should have. We were told twice over the phone that only one part was replaced as opposed to the two it needed. However, when we got there the same manager who told us that only one was replaced, told us that both was replaced. When we questioned it (since she told us only one was done) she then proceeded to say your cars right there you can go look . Which clearly was the proof that only one part was replaced. If you have any other options at all, go there instead.

This was my first time doing the oil change out of the dealership and it went better that I expected. I liked their flexibility of service as I wanted to use my own choice of engine oil and oil filter and they just charged $18 fee for labor which was well worth it. Tire rotation and washer top off was included for free and I can't ask for anything more!Shannon was very respectful and professional at the front desk and I am very satisfied with the service by their nice and knowledgeable tech guy, Jaden. Will definitely come back again!

Shout out to the lady at the front desk (didn t get her name) & Storm. Great customer service! They were able to squeeze me in last minute on a Sunday afternoon for a full set - tire installation. I would definitely recommend them to all of my family and friends. Thank you again, PepBoys Team!

Got me in last minute on a Friday night, even stayed open late for us. The woman working the front desk made sure to describe everything to me in a language I understood (I had a flat, but my other rear tire was years old). Didn t feel taken advantage of all, got very quality treatment, with a nice lounge.

Do you like sitting for four hours for your tire to be changed, which receiving zero updates or assistance? If so you'll love this places service. Don't bother making an appointment, it's not going to get you in and out any faster.

Wow! Never did I think that when I met the manager this morning as the first customer of the day that I would end up being the last. All I came in for was front brakes and I wasn't going to have them done but he gave me a more reasonable price. I am so upset! I have pictures, videos of my car and everything. It was yes, that bad. But you know what, I overheard a personal issue that occurred in his life today after I came in. So, I hope he and his family is okay. I'm going to let it go and just never go back.

Took my car in to get the brake oass and rotors changed. It was supposed to take 3 hours. When I picked it up much later than that, I couldn't stop the car at all. They claimed to have bled the brakes too much and I waited for them to fix it. That was a day ago. They still have my car and still can't fix it. How do you break a car WORSE? I had no leaks or any issues with the brakes before now. Yet they want to convince me it had to have been. No, you guys took a functional car and somehow managed to turn it into decoration.

Overall a great experience as always! Super friendly and helpful staff, great pricing, and quality service! It took a bit longer than I was originally told to complete a tire installation, but I m glad I scheduled an early Saturday appointment online and got in there before the late morning crowd showed up.

I'd give this place a -3 if it were possible. They ran my friend around the bush with false time lengths, promises, and service. They overcharged and were rude and had her in tears for nearly a month. Contacted corporate and they were supposed to take care of the issues. Next thing you know, the work they did left the car with constant issues, so much so that they decided to get a different engine (the one they put in prior was failing) One month, a week and a day later, we are here in the parking lot ( which is riddled with giant potholes) it's been an hour and still no car. This has and still is a huge headache. Corporate is supposed to reimburse her for at least the thousands of dollars in car rental fees, but they have also promised many other things that never happened... so, we will see. Do yourself a favor, and choose somewhere else. Heck, high-schoolers in a shop would be better than this place.

The staff is incredibly kind and I understand that things happen however I had to wait over a month for my car to be repaired. I am very grateful for the wonderful staff who were able to communicate with me however I kept being told it would be ready by the end of the day and did not get it for 4+ weeks leading to me having to spend excess money on ubers and bus passes and potentially loss of my job. I know it isnt completely their fault however I most likely will not be returning just in case.

Shannon, assistant Manager, should be the Manager! came in for an oil change and these guys had me in/out in 45-50 minutes! THANK YOU for the great job you do!Shannon was extremely helpful with any questions I had. per usual, Shannon is a rockstar! Pep Boys is lucky to have her!

I was on a cross country road trip and got a flat tire from some type of road debris which caused a slash. The tire wasn't repairable. I called Andrew and his team at Pep Boys an hour before closing and arrived 15 minutes before closing in a dangerous thunderstorm and heavy rain. Andrew and his team stayed an hour late to change and mount a new tire for me. Once again Pep Boys came through for me. I have never had a bad experience with these guys. I'm sure they aren't perfect, but they are one of the first places I call when I need assistance with my car. I have a used 2017 Porsche Macan Turbo, they even had a European car specialist guy that didn't need instructions on disabling the air suspension when changing the tire.Stay Classy Pep Boys,A

When I called, the manager didn t even know the business name. I understand, it s a new position for him this really is not an issue. I won t return to pep boys though, over priced oil change and your order processing system apparently doesn t show your sales person inventory on hand. What is the point of telling me I need new tires, but you have to physically check stock?

Even though they re experiencing work life like the rest of us (the workload of many being shouldered by far less) and having to deal with all the things a retail place has to (drastic human personalities and emotions), both of the folks I interacted with were pleasant, gracious, and helpful and the service was quick. Wish whoever the giant was that drove my car had moved my seat remotely close back to where it was, but alas, can t have everything

had a 1pm appointment for 4 tires and an alignment. I waited there for 4 hours and they didn t even get the alignment done. Terrible service

I ve had way too many issues with being serviced in a decent amount of time, they never have any of the parts I need and I will say they are overpriced. I ve tried to give this shop several chances to get the job done but they continue to disappoint I wouldn t recommend them they do have nice people there but they are not organized and are most likely back logged. My car sat in their shop for three days just for me to receive a call that they couldn t service it or had the part which is pitiful.

Will not return to this location. Unpleasant . Store is a mess . Was being charged more then quoted. ( Messy) needs to be closed.
