This Midas has been my location the last two oil changes I ve had done and they have been pretty easy to get in and out. Service has always been amazing and I travel to come to this location mainly because of the flexibility in scheduling. Someone missed an appointment and I was able to get worked right in. I love that Kat checked on some things and made it happen for me!

Great store with awesome staff! I was able to get an oil change via walk-in without any hassle and was immediately offered accommodations such as beverages and even a staff donut before my transaction was even discussed. Very friendly, professional, and helpful with all of my questions.

I had my alternator go out on me so I called the Midas on Shadeland Ave. The bottom bolt had to be chiseled out which I knew they would. Because of that bolt I had to leave my car till the next day but that wasn't a problem for me as I understood. Shawn said he would have one made which he did. I asked how much to go ahead and fix my front end sense they were going to have it over night. I needed both axles replaced due to the boots being broke and I wanted to replace the tire rod ends and ball joints also just do to the mileage and age. The kid who did my car didn't tighten the lug nuts down on the driver side tire and proceeded to take it for a test drive which of course the tire fell off and he crashed my car. The kid who wrecked it came running back up to the building telling George the DM and Shawn the Manager what he did and then took off and left. After waiting for quite awhile George and Shawn came back from my car to tell me what happened. They said they would take care of it (as if I didn't know they sure were) but not once was I offered a rental car. I was trying to be nice and understanding about it. I let it be along as my car was in the same shape as it was when I brought it to them. After a week I asked if we could work out a deal. I wanted my valve cover gaskets changed as they were just starting to leak a little and I wouldn't ask for a rental car. The agreed so great. They got the corner fixed which isn't as nice as that corner was but it still looks good and blends in with the car well as it is a 2004. The valve covers I was told was changed but you could see they had not been. The bolts were still dirty and you could tell they had not been touched which George agreed they didn't look like it. He said he would make him do it and take pics which he did. I wish I hadn't asked for the deal cause its dumping oil all over my new alternator and manifold and right to the ground. When I took my car to them I had air conditioning and my belts were quiet. After they changed the alternator it started squealing real bad. I was told that the belt tensioner was bad. I knew that was a lie as it was quiet when I went in. I took it somewhere else after getting it back and they had broke the wires in the belt so I had to have it changed again and now its quiet. The worst thing though is my AC wasn't working when I took it for a drive to see how it drove after the accident. They said they would look at it. It was completely empty of freon so they filled it and George said call him if I had any more problems. It was gone again in 4 days. I told George I wanted to talk to the owner which George claims the owner said bring it back. Again they fill it back up and claimed there were no leaks so it must be leaking in the dash. Again I know Shawn is lying to me. It worked when I took it in and now it doesn't. I left from their shop to go get my belt fixed. Upon opening the hood I could see that my condenser was leaking freon in the corner. It cracked it when the kid wrecked my car and this shop doesn't care. I wish I never went there cause now I have to fix it somewhere else and then sue them for the repairs. They seem really nice and great but take my experience as a warning.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I had a great experience the day before Thanksgiving 2023 at Midas on Shadeland. Thomas Lee the Assistant Manager was able to squeeze both my vehicles in for a oil change before I hit the road. What a lifesaver. He also assisted me in obtaining coupons for a discount. He was super friendly and very professional. Thanks so much Tom for great customer service. You Rock!

I made am appointment online for a Full Synthetic Oil Change and Service. I dropped my car off early and was met by a pleasant attendant and went smoothly. They called me with some maintenance suggestions but were low pressure. I picked up my car on time and the process was very smooth and professional.

First time coming to this location and Thomas and Dwan was very professional and exceeded my expectations today. I appreciate all the work u guys did to make my experience pleasant. I haven t had the best of luck with automotive shops in the past however I think u guys may have broken the curse thank u.

Brought my vehicle in for an alignment, a problem was pointed out preventing me from getting one. I fixed the problem. Alignment went well. The staff and techs were extremely helpful. BIG SHOUT OUT TO: Thomas, Shawn, Dwan, Kat, Zeus. Experience was painless, communication was great!! Will definitely be back!!

I called this place and set an appointment for a oil change. The gentleman said he had a 4:30 pm slot open. I express that s when I get off off so he booked me for 5 pm. Long story short these folks turned me away because I was 15 minutes late. If that was going to be the case I wish the guy I called said something so wouldn t have wasted my time and gas. I got lazy vibes from this place after that day. I don t plan on going back.

HORRIBLE service. First off I went for a simple oil change. After sitting for 2.5 hours. My car was finished but not only with a oil change, but also received a COMPLETELY destroyed bumper. They parked my car on the side and said it s a parking lot and their not responsible and have no area manager. Beware of this place you will definitely be disappointed. I went from a $30 oil change to a $430 repair job. I will be updating this daily to inform people that you will get screwed if you go here. I ll never use a Midas again and I will make sure everyone I know and associate with will not either. Oh btw look at the photo of what was left in the car.Service: Oil change

I had oil change and tire rotation done. I'm 99% sure they didn t rotate my tires. I should have paid closer attention! But all my tires were different psi, I documented it. After Midas rotating and resetting the TPMS, all my psi remained the same in the same location. Logically the psi should change from front to back per side. I paid for a service I didn t get. Their solution was to set all tires to the same psi. If I can t trust for a simple service like this to be done I can t trust you with my vehicle for anything else.I vented to my friend and he scolded me for going to Midas now I know why. Never again.

Thomas was Very friendly and helpful as soon as I walked in the door. Thoroughly explained what I needed to get done and what tire rotation is if needed. Plus the coffee was really good

Years ago I started coming here because the GM s customer service was amazing. I drive by two other Midas to come here for all of my car needs. Since then, I think the GM has moved on but his replacements are excelsior as well. I ve never been pressured to do anything unnecessary to my vehicle and they always get you the best deal they can. Any review that says otherwise is trying to finesse the system for their own benefit.

I set an appointment a week in advance. I brought my car in on a Wednesday at noon. At 4:00 I called and was told they hadn't even looked at it yet. I was only in there for a tire rotation and a simple inspection. Their excuse was that they only had one Tech working. I feel like they shouldn't be making appointments if they cannot service your car. If they only have one Tech working then they should schedule accordingly. I decided to go to Car-X to get the work done. I'm so disappointed in this because I had to coordinate with someone else on their day off and while I had a car to get this work done. Now we have to figure it out. It is an extreme hassle, waste of time and very inconvenient. I find it unprofessional that they make appointments and are unable to provide service. I have spent a lot of money at Midas over the years. But I feel like after this I will not be returning. I'm taking my business elsewhere

Driving solo from NY to MO day before Thanksgiving, overnighting near this location. Jumped a curb at 2pm and damaged front end, washer fluid container and tire shield; needed immediate diagnostic and repair or would be stuck over holiday. Got right in, could not fully repair due to part not available but got me safely back on road for the rest of my journey in 20 mins for $45. Awesome. Thanks, guys!

I was very pleased with my service today. Thomas and the gentleman that checked me in I wish I remembered his name were very kind, personable, and professional. They quickly checked me in and called within an hour with my estimate. After that, they were very timely in completing my brake repair and getting me back on the road.
