They were able to get my truck in immediately and provided an overview of the issues super fast. With this overview, I was able to decide what to care for now, and what could be cared for in the future. The work was completed within a few hours and I was back on the road.Everyone was very professional and helpful. I highly recommend this location.

Took my car in with a check-engine light. Midas came back with a $2100 replace catalytic converter estimate. I was told that would be the minimum and may cost another $2000 if I would need to replace a number of O2 sensors once they would start work. I didn t accept the work and drove the car back home. Put in a bottle of catalytic converter fuel additive for $18. Check-Engine light went out right away and hasn t come back. Saved myself over $4000. I am sure Midas would have charged me for the extra O2 sensors. To make matters even worse, while I was there, they did a complete inspection without my authorization. Another $8000 for estimated repairs. Had a second opinion from a mechanic friend. Told me almost all the work is unnecessary for the time being except one issue which he will take care of in a couple weeks. He actually was impressed on how good of a shape the car is in.All I can say is Buyer Beware. Approach with Extreme Caution.

I came in on Thursday (3/21) with my car being exceptionally loud when I accelerate. I already knew 2 issues in the exhaust that needed to be looked at. They replaced those two parts as well as my rear brakes. This was all standard. However, as I went to leave, the person at the front said that a wheel bearing might be loose and to bring it back in the next 30 days or so. I waited in the office for 6 hours. They could've come to me at any time to say this was also an issue found and would I like to take care of it. Especially since they waited an hour for one of the parts my car needed.Turns out, THAT is the issue that is making my car loud, which is what I kinda went in to have fixed the first time.Fine okay. This is frustrating, so it wasn't going to be a full 5 stars to begin with. Then while speaking to their Kevin the next day, I expressed concern over the price (I was told between $400-$500 the day I left the shop) and that I might look around. He said that he could try to see if there was anything they could do, so I took it in again on Saturday (3/23) to have them make sure that the wheel bearing was the issue. He called me a few hours later and said yes, that was the issue. He then quoted me a $646 price that is supposedly "not including the parts." Not sure how it went from $500 tops to $646.I called my usual mechanic which is a bit of a drive since I moved (which is why I went to Midas in the first place) and he quoted me $250. Imagine that.I have yet to check with my normal mechanic to see if the Midas mechanics actually did what they said they did, because now I'm a little worried about that.

Took my car in for an oil change and was called by the office personnel informing me that per their brake inspection, I needed my brake pads and brake rotors replaced on all 4 tires. Elected not to have them do the $1,200 "repair" that day and instead sought a second opinion. Took it to another shop where they informed me that my brake pads in the front had 10mm and backs had 8mm (very clearly not needing replacement). Also re-inspected rotors and brake fluid and noted to me that all the braking components are in perfect condition. I will NEVER visit this MIDAS again and would highly suggest you think twice before hiring them to work on your car.

Kevin and the Midas crew on Michigan Road saved the day. They were able to get me I. The same day and diagnosed a bad battery after both AAA and Autozone diagnosed that the battery was good the same day. My car wouldn't not start needing several jumps buts was told the battery was fine. Midas came through for me. A 1 service, they were very professional and courteous. I will certainly be back.

Very fast and very helpful! This was all a walk-in appointment, and it was completely hassle free. After Costco stripped the lugnuts on one of my tires, they got it off no problem and the cost of labor was even below what they quoted me for. Not only that, but they had already placed an order for replacement lug nuts before they knew they would need to replace them.I had to come back a couple hours later the same day (Costco couldn't get the lugnuts off without stripping them again) and they took care of everything.

I got my back brakes repaired on 3/16. Brought my car in because there was a loud grinding noise everytime I hit the breaks. Everyone was very helpful and nice. I am very pleased. The repairs were explained to me before they were done. And no pressure to fix anything else. I will be going in again to get my front brakes taken care of once that is needed.

Mr. Paul at Midas is a very nice guy. He goes out of his way to help his customers as I have seen and experienced first hand. He is caring and I will be a repeat customer. It is hard to find reliable repair shops that aren t trying to sell you things you don t really need or gouge prices for simple repairs. Yes you are going to have to pay shop prices but the peace of mind is worth it for a good repair.

Service from all involved was great. Only bad part was extremely long wait I had for parts to be delivered. Edward was kind enough to give me a synthetic oil change on my next visit for my car. Overall I've always been satisfied when I leave there, this time was no different. Thank you.Brian R

First off Mike the owner is very rude and nonchalant about my issue. My car went in for a battery issue I was charge for the battery and labor, same day the vehicle cut off and won t crank. Call owner Mike he advised to bring it back. For what ?? The second time in the shop they did absolutely nothing to it, advised to take it to a dealership. Gets halfway down the road and my car cuts off again!!! Open the hood and found all kinds of wires loose and disconnected. I took pics and videos. This Midas location had no concern about my vehicle. I wouldn t recommend any FEMALE to visit this shop!!!!!!!! You will be token advantage of and treat like dodo on the bottom of a shoe!!!! I took my car to Chevy dealership and the advised bots was missing and wires was loose. Which I could of figure when I found it a hot mess. Of course Mike denied anyone touched the engine and he don t know anything about bots and wires loose. Then rudely hung up on me. PLEASE FIND ANOTHER PLACE THAT CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR!!! MIDAS ON MICHIGAN IS A HELL NO Never again will I visit this location!!!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Battery

I was able to get my vehicle in to replace my battery in a reasonable time. When other auto service providers said, it may be two days. They replaced my battery and accepted my after market warranty. I was pleased with the service.

Based on my experience with this business, unless you want to risk being overcharged, and disrespected by the manger and franchise ownership, I suggest you take your business elsewhere.I took my 2007 Honda with over 250,000 miles here because the serpentine belt had literally fallen off, completely intact, a few blocks away. Besides, I was under the impression that Midas was a name/brand you can trust. I was contacted by Paul (mgr) who provided a diagnosis that a belt had become wrapped around something, damaged this and that, and quoted a repair in excess of $1000. I explained to him that I was a bit confused by the diagnosis because the only belt that could be wrapped around anything was on the passenger seat complete and intact with no damage. Ultimately he stuck with his diagnosis, and I let him know that I would just pick the car up. Paul's response to me was "well, you don't have to accuse me of being dishonest if you can't afford to have your car repaired". I never accused him of being dishonest, but his diagnosis of a belt wrapped around something was not quite plausible since the only belt was on the passenger seat and in perfect condition. I let him know that I could definitely afford the repairs, whatever the cost, but I wasn't trying to put over $1000 into a 17 year old car with over 250K miles. I also let him know that I was offended at his disrespectful and unprofessional comment, and asked to speak to the manager. After a bit of back and forth, he provided me with the name and number of the franchise owner, Michael Reed/Reed Automotive.I contacted Mr. Reed and explained the interaction I had with the manager of his store. He proceeded to accuse me of "getting into a pissing match" with his manager, and asked me what I wanted him to do about it. Clearly, this was an exercise in futility. I let him know that he was as equally disrespectful and unprofessional as his manager with his "pissing match" comment, and I would be escalating to Midas corporate. His response was to tell me to come and pick up my car, which I was already planning to do. I managed to save $500 by having my car repaired at Michigan Road Automotive, where my patronage was met with the respect and customer service I would expect from any business, let alone one quoting a repair in excess of $1K.Based on my experience, I would strongly discourage anyone from patronizing this Midas location/ownership, and highly recommend Michigan Road Automotive. If this is the way Midas allows franchise owners to treat customers and represent the Midas brand, I doubt I would go to any Midas location after this.

Paul and the crew at Midas are great. They were able to identify the problem and even found another issue that could have been a potentially bigger problem. My thanks to the Midas crew. You have never failed us throughout the years.

I used to get a great deal and service on oil changes. The prices have gone up and the communication is not what it once was. Instead of telling me what s going on they re just dismissing me as if it doesn t really matter. Just go to Jiffy Lube and spend less time next time.

Trash brake repair company. They overtightened ALL of the components of my braking system so when I went to replace pads/rotors I couldn t, and then all of the bolts got stripped. Clearly they don t know the proper torques for various bolts in car brakes. It is like that on ALL 4 wheels. Terrible.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

As a former employee, mind you by choice, I was not fired. This store is the worst thing that could possibly happen to your car, they are the reason mechanics get a bad rap. I have watched countless things leave that should not have been rigged up because Paul didn't want to fix it right. I find it strange that when a technician says that a car has a blown head gasket, that Paul would instead turn around and sell the customer a water pump, thermostat and a full cooling system flush and service. Paul seems like a great guy but if you look behind the scenes he is crooked, selling items to fatten his commission. The next time you go here and Paul " takes a second to see what he can do with the price " keep an eye on how many hours of labor he charges and how much the discount is. He will add hours onto the labor price of the job and then apply a discount. It appears that you get a significant amount off when in reality you're paying much more for the labor. Paul still sends me messages regarding the store though I have requested he remove my number from his system. He STILL contacts me. This store should not be in business. They are overpriced, dishonest, and simply take advantage of their customers. Please save yourself the trouble of dealing with this company and go somewhere else.

The guys were professional and honest with my estimate and my car. I ended up not getting my tire sensor monitors replaced because I can t afford it right now, but like I said, everyone was very professional.

Asked them to check a squeak in the front left tire, waited an hour and a half to be told anything, and then they gave me a page long list of things they said I should fix, and said the squeak was small, which it is not. Walked out
