This was my first time coming here. Looked it up online the night before, needed my muffler changed out. I came back after 2 hours when he d have time and got my car in quick! This shop is super clean, very friendly staff, and very inviting. My regular mechanic passed away so his shop is closed indefinitely. I will be moving close to this area next month and will make this place my go-to shop when needed! I like it here! 5 STARS!!!Service: Exhaust

It s hard to find a mechanic you can trust. I ve been to a LOT of places over the years, and have developed what I feel like it is a well-tuned gauge in this area, and I plan to keep going back to this shop. Friendly, patient, and straight-shooting.

I had a headlight bulbs replaced. Guy seemed shifty so I looked out at my car and he pulled the blinds down and then lied about the install.

Years ago I went to this place as a young college kid not knowing anywhere else to go and not only was I given options (someone tried stealing my converter) but it felt like he truly cared. Just called today for a different reason and he did not recommend I come in (any business first person would) and instead auto zone. I trust and feel at ease with Michigan Road Auto Center. I know I won't be scammed and will be taken care of!

I took my car in to get serviced and they were very quick, super nice and very reasonable on the prices. I will be back if need be.

This was my first time at Michigan Road Auto and I was VERY pleased with the service. I was hesitant to go to any place New but Don was friendly and patient. Turns out the repairs that needed done were costly so it took me a couple days to transfer money and they were understanding and patient waiting for that to be completed. Once I got that all situated the shop said we will put you back in line to complete the work but it may not be done till the day after tomorrow (2 days later). I was very pleasantly surprised when I got a call the next day saying my Jeep was ready to go. I would highly recommend Michigan Road Auto for being friendly and knowledgeable.

A friend referred me to the shop. I decided to call and inform them of the recent issues occurring with my Traverse. I spoke with Don and was able to drop my vehicle off the very next morning.. within a couple of hours I knew what repairs were needed and the cost. By the evening I was informed that repairs were completed and it was ready for pick up. I picked my vehicle up this morning and am very pleased with the work done and the cost.They are professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. The communication was great which I have not experienced with previous mechanics/shops. I will most certainly be a repeat customer for future repairs and maintenence service!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Battery

I have been a customer at Michigan Road Auto Center for approximately 10 years and they have serviced my autos 10-15 times. I have always felt that they have done a good job diagnosing the problem (when places like Firestone failed). They have treated me fairly and their prices are good. I trust Don and will continue going here as long as they are open.

I've gone to Michigan Road Auto since I moved to Indianapolis in 2008. Even when I haven't been in for awhile Don always remembers who I am. He has been honest with me and has always taken good care of me. If there is something he can't do he will recommend someone that he knows will get the job done right. Had a really great experience here. You're never sure what you're stepping into when you go to a new mechanic, but these guys will have you covered and they are honest. They diagnosed my issue and found another nagging issue that was vital, and it was something I had noticed but didn't disclose. The fact they found it without me mentioning anything shows they know what they are talking about.Prices were in-line with what you'd expect. Place is clean and they were able to get the work done quickly. Big time recommendation here!

This place is great. We couldn't actually diagnose the problem, but it wasn't from a lack of trying. I then tried to give some money for his time, he wouldn't accept it. Anywhere else would have charged me a fee just to look at it. They definitely will have a new customer in me.

Have been coming here for years (he was south of here for a very long time). This is "my guy". I generally do my own work, but once it reaches a level of complication, I hand the cars over to this business. I have never been disappointed. I have had multiple times where other mechanics will lie to my face (thinking that because I'm an obvious gay - I have no idea what I'm talking about when it comes to cars...). This has never happened here. I get real / accurate information every time. Can't recommend them highly enough.Services: Electrical, Brakes

I've been taking my vehicles to Michigan Road for about 10 years now.. starting with their old location across from Walmart neighborhood store and now down the street.I've used them because though they are not cheap..they are cheaper than the dealership and Don and his crew has always done a good job and if something isn't right they ask us to bring it back and they correct it immediately. Like I said..they are not the "hook-up" but they are quality bwork with manageable prices.

This place is a scam! I was Over charged for work that was never done! When i took my car back to him to fix the work he was supposed to have already done he tried to charge me again using that scammer Machanic talk! Don't Ever take your car to this place, unless you want to be scammed out of your money, while being called "buddy"I believe Any good reviews posted for this business is someone he paid to say something good, or a family member! He's a true scammer.

This place is a scam.I was charged for diagnostics that AutoZone does for free,they said its a advanced computer & my car still has the same problem & though he was honest & good.
