Mike and his team are great. Mike himself is very explanatory and straightforward, which I appreciate. He did a whole round of fixes on my older car. I would just recommend making an appointment way in advance. Because he is so popular on this side of town, his books are almost always jam packed. I trust him with all my car needs.

Stopped into Michael s today because I remembered hearing about this shop word of mouth from the neighborhood. The experience I had with them was wonderful! I needed my tires aired up and originally had made an appt at the east side Pep Boys location, but no one showed up so I left. I explained what happened at Michael s and they were fast at helping me air up my tires and at no charge. Very welcoming atmosphere too, if I need other things tuned up or fixed on my car I ll be visiting again!

Just got my older car back with work on the rear suspension and and oil change - and Michael's wife Kelly came and got me so I could get my repaired car - wonderful people, good service, reasonable prices, and convenient location. I will be using this repair shop again and again.

Mike is one of those small town mechanics you hear about on TV sitcoms. He does the job right, goes above and beyond. He has worked on my mom's vehicles and mine when I don't have time to either fix it myself or it's too much work for me to complete in a reasonable amount of time. I'd recommend him for anyone needing a trustworthy mechanic. Thanks Mike can always count on you!

I've been going to the same dealership on the east side of Indy for several years. Sometimes I get great service and Sometimes I don't. My last trip they pretty much told me my car had A LOT of miles on it and I should probably be thinking about trading it in. In this economy...no way. I started going to another dealership on the north side of Indy. I got great service and never once did they say anything about my high mileage vehicle. I don't want to make that drive up north just to have my car serviced. I went to my trusty friend, Google, and found Michael's Automotive. He schedules appointments and doesn't overbook for more work than he can handle. He explains things so anyone can understand. His pricing is fair and doesn't have all the mark up the "stealer"ships do. This is a family owned business that has been around for a while so it's not a here today gone tomorrow shop. I'm confident if you start taking your vehicle here you may never go anywhere else; it might take a while to get on the schedule but don't let that deter you. Top notch mechanic and excellent customer service.

Traveling from out of town and was in need of an oil change. I stopped to see if they would be able to fit me in. Michael was extremely polite and worked with me on getting my car serviced. He was honest and fair. Excellent Service! Michael's Automotive mechanics are honest and trustworthy! They have fixed my vehicles for over twenty years. Never had a problem or issue with any of my auto repairs. They will communicate with you up front as to what needs to be fixed right away or if something may need repaired soon. Highly recommend this place for auto repairs and oil changes!

I will never visit another auto mechanic before checking with Michael s Automotive. Michael is a true professional and cares about the local community. He fixed the AC/Heater blower in my truck, explained the issue, and was much more affordable than similar services I have had in the past with other shops. You rarely find gems like Mike anymore. This is a fantastic place to take your vehicle, you won t be overcharged or bs d about what is it isn t happening. Mike and his staff did a great job on both my vehicles on two separate occasions. I even referred a family member and they were as equally pleased! Mike and his staff were honest, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of. My air went out in my van and they knew I had little ones that I cart around, so they got me in as soon as a few days after I called and had it fixed within a few hours!

Mike is always helpful by telling you what exactly is wrong. He will even tell you that the mechanic you went to before him was incorrect and will save you about $300. Been going to him ever since and will continue until one of us moves. Mike you are amazing!!!

Woah, great experience. I got quoted $130+ for a serpentine belt replacement down the road at Firestone and I said, "let me get back to you on that one." Called Michaels and he said he could do it for $97.50. Done. Made an appointment and he had it done in a few hours (I dropped my car off). Great experience and he accepts everything but American Express, some close by mechanics only accept cash. Will be back.

The service was great. My car was looked at in a timely fashion. I had NO idea what I needed but Michael, the owner didn't try to do work that wasn't needed. The Lady at the front desk was so kind. When I do need work I'll go here and I'm referring all of my loved ones to this shop! I'm not easily impressed, but I definitely was today.

Needed a PS Pressure Line replaced on my '01 Malibu and he gave a very reasonable quote! Finished the job quickly and have had great smooth steering since! Will be returning with all of my Automotive needs!Honest, friendly, professional, affordable and reliable... what more can I say! Worth every penny and more!

Michael has always done an amazing job, prices are excellent. We've been going there at least 25 years, the last 14 with 5 cars in the family! It is totally worth the wait because he's so great you must make appointments.

This is the only shop I'll bring my car to from now on. Michael was courteous, very knowledgeable, and a straight shooter. Walking away, I feel totally confident that he did everything he could do to help save me some money.As long as he's open for business, I'll be a customer.

We have been trying to get our headlight on our car fixed everywhere and went to 5 different places and no one could do it on our 2012 Chrysler 200. I called Michaels and even though he was busy he said come on by let me see what I can do. In less then 5 minutes that man changed my headlight! What an awesome and honest man! I d give 100 stars if I could!

Honest people do still exist! Took my car to the dealer 3 months ago for an oil change and was told I would need to have my rear brakes replaced within the next 6 months and it would be around $350. I took it back 2 weeks ago to get the brakes done and was told since I had "waited so long" (what happened to 6 months??) it was now going to be a $700+ repair. Turns out the brakes do NOT need to be replaced immediately and I have another couple of months and then I can get the pads & rotors done for a fraction of what O'Brien Toyota was going to charge. I will be taking my car to Michael's from now on.

Unbelievable service at Michael's! My car had some dangerous brake issues going on so I stopped by in person to schedule an appointment. They have a hand written appointment book. It's first come, first serve. He quoted me a price over the phone and <24 hrs later I had my car back. Couldn't be happier. They do not work on transmissions.

I have been bringing my vehicle to Michaels Automotive for years now and he has always been fair and I have never had a complaint! His work has always been thurough and complete. He always calls first before any work is done or parts ordered. He's always professional and always has a smile on his face!

Best mechanic in town. I ve been going here for years. Numerous times where I diagnosed a much worse prognosis than what was actually wrong. Other mechanics would have taken the money and run. These guys are honest, so much so there have been instances where their honesty kept me from bringing my car in at all. Recently had an issue where I thought the computer and/or alternator in my car was bad. They scheduled me and told me to try replacing the battery in the mean time. Replaced the battery and it solved all the issues. A prominent dealership in town was going to charge me $140 just to look at the car, plus lord knows what they would have diagnosed, they mentioned the possibility of an animal have built a nest in the computer and chewed up wires.
