I can t really express how great this shop is. I ve had my fill of being upsold, not getting the full truth, or shops that fix a little and know that you ll have to be back when that doesn t hold.I ve had nothing but a stress free and painless experience at every turn with Martin Automotive. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and polite for that matter. The owner is world class, and his wife is just as amazing.Martin automotive is a family business, their sons work there and even Lexi, their dog . She s the real jewel of the place. Long story short, give Martin Automotive a shot, you won t be disappointed

First time customer. Lifetime client!This auto shop is awesome!Remember the good ole days when Dad and Grandpa had that one shop, that worked, harder, faster and was more fair than everyone else? That s this shop! Took my car in for a full brake job. I had gotten a quote from a big name tire shop. Did some research and talked to a few people and was eventually referred by a friend to come here. Gave Paul the quote from the big name tire shop. Paul looked at everything that was on the quote list and he told me you don t need X,Y, Z those parts are fine.Paul was HONEST and that seems to be a hard quality to find these days!Take your vehicle here you won t be disappointed. The whole staff was great, shop was clean and Lexi (dog) is a sweetheart.Support the locals come get good quality work done!Thanks again :).

Wow, no wonder this shop has so many five star ratings! Brought in my 05 Colorado, had her fixed within the day and she s back to driving great. They were completely transparent with costs, so fast and communication was on point. A+ work

Paul has taken care of me and my entire family for several years now. I also have referred him to friends and employees.I can't say enough good things about Martin Automotive. Kerrie and Paul are fantastic - they're not only very communicative but also extremely efficient in getting the cars fixed quickly. I had the same mechanic for years, but lately they had declined in quality. I'm pretty loyal when it comes to mechanics, so when I was looking for a new one, I did a lot of research and came across Martin Automotive. They exceeded my expectations. They were incredibly friendly, very knowledgeable and transparent, and at a fair price. The mechanic walked me through everything they did and anything that may need to be done with my car in the future. Plus they have a sweet dog that hangs out in the lobby. I'm very happy to have a new mechanic I can depend on in the future.

Edit: 9/28/23 - oil change on the truck. Full synthetic, in and out in 30-ish mins, they were as friendly as always.Took them three cars in three days:Oil change on my 2007 Honda S2000. They were awesome, friendly, professional and did a great job!I fractured a Fox 2.0 at the front left of my 17 F150 Limited; they diagnosed it quickly and got me turned around, installing my replacement coilovers and giving it an alignment. Rides like new!Oil change, plugs, and air filters on my wife s 17 Lexus LS460. They recommended the same OEM plugs that I would have used which made me feel good about them. In and out the same day, 14% cheaper than the dealer and just as friendly!Great folks, the shop is really clean, and I trust them with the cars that I need for my life and that I enjoy running around in.

Amazing customer service & all around great staff/owners. Even stopped mid-lunch to rescue me & my kiddo from having to wait for hours for a tow truck! I have been here more than once for service & will be back with any car needs. Thank you!

Came in with a busted radiator. They did an absolute perfect job on the repair. Fantastic, friendly service. They went above and beyond to explain the work in detail to make sure I knew exactly what the diagnosis and repair entailed. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Is this shop as good as their reviews? NOPE - EVEN BETTER!! They have all 5 star reviews (which you never see) so I was wondering if they were real - or if they were somehow "gaming" their rankings. Absolutely honest and quality work.I had motor mounts on my Honda replaced at another shop. After 45 days was feeling a vibration at idle. Took it in to the original shop - "nope that's normal".A mechanic at a different garage said he took his car to Martin's so I took it there. I'm not a car guy, but Paul took me back into the shop - showed me where the one mount was already cracked. Also explained how the aftermarket parts the original shop had used were not going to last. He explained how there were times AM parts were appropriate when where not. Explained that he always tells the customer up front what he recommends and lets the customer decide.At Martin's I selected OEM (which was out of stock and backordered) so he put in aftermarket because I have a big trip coming up - but said that when the OEMS arrive he will swap them out with no labor charge (only the extra cost for the higher priced parts). WHO SWAPS OUT A MOTOR MOUNT FOR FREE JUST BECAUSE THE PART WAS NOT AVAILABLE.The van is running like a dream - smooth idle. Oh by the way - much cheaper than the original shop. Only regret is that I didn't use them long ago as they are close to my work. A true gem in the rough.

2015 Silverado 1500,This company offers the best trustworthy service any mechanic has to offer. I will always bring my vehicle here for services I appreciate their willingness to go out of their way to find a problem going on with my module system and battery wiring they was very clean with their work im very satisfied and can t thank them enough the whole crew is amazing people highly recommend this place to everyone with a vehicle!Services: Carburetor cleaning, Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Battery

This place and the people that own it are amazing! Wanted to give a quick shout out.AC went out in my mini van (our main family vehicle) and they re one of the few shops outside the dealership who can service the R-1234yf refrigerant. They fit me in, in between their scheduled appointments for a diagnostic.Sadly it ended up being more than just low Freon but they are honest, upfront, and not pushy at all! They are definitely another go-to auto place for me before I ever even call the dealership.Everyone was courtesy, nice, took their time, explained everything, and promised their quote for 90-days- no thinking about it coming back and suddenly inflation hitting within that span.Thank you guys for an honest work!

The service provided to me was amazing. They called me before doing any work on my car, and made me feel at ease once they found the root of the problem with my car. I admire their sincerity, honesty, and helpfulness! So thankful my car was in good hands. I will be going back for future work to be done to my car!

I've taken my 2014 Ford Fusion to Martin Automotive for a couple years now and every experience with Paul and his crew have been extremely positive. Paul and Karrie are very thorough in their communication and their integrity can't be matched in the Indianapolis area. They're very friendly and have affordable costs. Paul's the type of guy to stretch himself so thin so that others can have what they need. You don't find too many people like him these days.I recommend anyone and everyone in the Indianapolis/Broad Ripple/Fishers area to get their car taken care of by Paul and his crew at Martin Automotive.I've now moved to Florida and started a new life in a new city and will have to find a new automotive business. (btw no car issues the whole way here. Doing great down here!). I'm so sad to leave this business and these awesome people behind. Tell Lexi I said hi. Give her a treat for me too :)Best,Grace M.

I went here today because I could not physically remove my extremely rusted and stripped screw from my license plate. The owner and his mother were so kind and helpful. I am a young woman who knows NOTHING about cars and I never once felt scared or taken advantage of which is a rarity nowadays. I will be going back for any and all of my car issues now! If going to the auto shop is a daunting task for you I 100% recommend you give this one a try!!Service: Auto maintenance

Went in with a car that had a slew of minor repairs needed. They were excellent at communicating the issues as they discovered them, kept me in the loop on the time frame, and gave me extremely transparent pricing every step of the way. The day before I came in to get my car, they discovered an issue that was missed at first inspection and repaired it pro bono. I couldn't be happier with the service they provided. You can't find a better Automotive Repair shop than Martin Automotive. Paul, Carrie, Derrick, and staff are knowledgeable, honest, and real good people to do business with. They go the extra mile when it comes to customer service. Really great people to work with! I've taken mine and my husband's car here multiple times and they have been super helpful every time. They are always honest about the work that needs to be done and take the time to explain what the issue is, show me the parts, and tell me how they plan on fixing it. We will continue to take our cars here as long as we're in Indianapolis!

I've had Martin Automotive work on my car twice, once in the fall of 2021 and again in the summer of 2022. They worked on my front hub bearings of my car and were professional, thorough and really friendly! Mechanics are knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. Diagnoses the problem, explains and shows it to you and gives you an estimate before doing the work. Prices have always been reasonable.

Paul Martin has been servicing my vehicles for the last 18 years. I've had him work on both foreign and domestic vehicles and they've always been repaired properly the first time. He's extremely knowledgeable and takes pride in his work. He's trustworthy and his rates are fair. He's serviced vehicles for my grandfather and father as well and we've never had an issues. Paul replaced the water pump. Did an excellent job and double checked everything to make sure all was good. Even looked things over so I would know of some things to watch for in the future. Very reasonably priced as well. Don't be afraid to take your car to Paul.

Whenever I'm considering doing business with a company that I haven't used before, I always do some research. I was pleased find that several of my friends whom I know to be very discriminating shoppers highly recommended Martin Automotive. After my first experience with them, I can definitely see why! What a breath of fresh air! Paul and his team are a group of first class professionals. Honest, knowledgeable, punctual, reasonable in addition to assessing the priorities of repairs for safety and necessity, you just do any better! Every time i have taken my vehicle to Martin Automotive the Quality, Service and Professionalism is second to none. The owner, Paul, makes sure my vehicle is working perfectly before i leave with it. He checks it thoroughly to make sure it is safe for me to drive with my family. Paul goes that extra mile!I drive about 80 miles one way to him. Simply the best! Paul has worked on all of our vehicles. The whole staff is very polite, courteous, knowledgeable, and professional in what they do. Great work with a personal touch. Paul personally walked me through the issues we were having to explain exactly what the problem was. He saved us $300 over another local mechanics estimate to fix the same issue.
