The guys here at Kidwell Automotive are great! My steering wheel was shaking really bad, took it up to Jesse there and he looked it my truck and seen the rack and pinion was barely hangin on no power steering and missing the sway bars. He assured me he could fix everything and get me a alignment for a great price. Needless to he did everything and then some !! Great place with very knowledgeable and caring staff and I will definitely recommend and return for service in the future. A-1 guys thank you so much for everything.

My car has a warranty and it has to go to an approved mechanic. I had never been to this shop before but I will definitely start taking my other vehicles there. The service was great, the shop was clean compared to others I ve seen, and the communication from Justin was great.

Had the pleasure of working with Kidwell Automotive to bring a highly damaged Volkswagen Passat back to life to become my daughter s first car. Throughout the entire rebuild process Justin and Donny displayed serious automotive knowledge and determination to see the restoration process through to completion. Despite many unforeseen challenges, they never gave up on us. I am grateful and proud to have benefited from the first class service that Kidwell Automotive provided. Dropped my truck off to diagnose noise I was hearing from front suspension they were able to diagnose and find the problem , no guessing found the source making the issue. Got parts ordered under warranty once in they got it all ready. Very good work

They did a great job fixing up a few issues on my Carvana purchase under the warranty. Nice guys and easy to work with. Only thing was I had to remind them a few times on a couple of items to be inspected and fixed. This is after I provided a list when I dropped the car off. I think it might just be they are busy as there are a lot of vehicles there.

Kidwell Automotive is my go-to mechanic shop. Justin has the chops and imagination to take care of every problem I ve ever brought to him in the many years of good service he s given me on many vehicles. He communicates honestly - straight and open, and has always bent over backwards to help me - with his schedule, calendar and even invoices. What else could you be looking for in a shop? Call him.

I was referred to Kidwell Automotive through a friend several months ago & will never take my vehicles anywhere else. Justin explains exactly what work needs to be done in a way I can understand, and shows me why when I ask. He is professional, personable, and kind, but most importantly, I trust his work ethic. The team at Kidwell really worked hard to get us back on the road. We had a terrible time at 2 other shops and our car was stuck in a holding pattern. Justin was great help although he was very busy he took the time to work with my warranty company to resolve any issues. After he got that settled he went to work on my Jaguar fixed it in a hurry and got me on my way. Service was fast pricing was reasonable. I CALLED UP THERE EXPLAINED WHAT WAS GOING ON WITH MY TRUCK, THEY TOLD ME THEY COULD FIX IT, AND EVEN HAD THERE OWN TOW TRUCK COMPANY COME GET MY TRUCK. THEY WERE VERY NICE, VERY RESPECTFUL, AND THEY DID A MARVELOUS JOB IM SOOO HAPPY TO BE BACK RIDING. IF ANYONE NEEDS A GOOD PLACE TO TAKE YOUR VEHICLE FOR SERVICE THIS PLACE GETS A FIVE STAR FROM ME THANKS AGAIN

I seriously can t recommend this shop enough, I d give them more than 5 stars if I could. A check engine light turned into an entire new transmission and then some, and they worked with the company that handles my vehicle s service contract FLAWLESSLY. From initial drop off for diagnosis to confirmation of OEM programming for the new parts was slightly less than 2 weeks, when I was expecting a 4-6 week turnover, AND I only had to pay the deductible for the aforementioned service contract. The owner, Justin, gives a personal touch to every vehicle that comes through and the other employees I interacted with through the process were extremely friendly and transparent about the work being done. I never felt like I was out of the loop or being taken advantage of, and it s awesome to be able to support a locally owned business!!!Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic, Transmission replacement, Transmission repair

I was in Indianapolis, from Michigan at a training when my car died. I was due to head back home after the meeting and had no idea how to get my car running. I searched locally and was lucky enough to find Kidwell Automotive. Checked the reviews online and gave a call. Best call ever made. The service was unbelievable. Justin came right to the parking lot that my car was in hoping that he could diagnose on the spot. He knew it needed more attention than he could give in the parking lot so he was able to get it running long enough to get it to his shop. I was sure that I would be spending another night in Indianapolis, but he took care of me above and beyond my expectations. The serpentine belt was replaced and in the process of replacing, it was discovered that the air conditioning compressor needed to be replaced. He ordered it, replaced it and took care of a few other things. He picked me up from the business that I was doing the training and brought me to his shop. He worked extra time to get me on the road home, a 5 hour road trip for me. So professional and honest. He also told me to call him in the morning to let him know that I got home safe. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Kidwell Automotive. You just don't run into businesses like this anymore. I am so grateful and satisfied with Justin and his team. True professionals. I ve sent my car to Kidwell three times and at all times he s helped me in a major way. The first time was to fix a transmission that was messed up by another mechanic. The second time for breaks and the third time for an engine misfire.He s extremely honest, professional, and very good at what he does; he s also very resourceful. He tells you all of the charges you re potentially looking at up front and there has never been any surprises. He does the work quickly and efficiently. I had my Mercedes Benz G63 AMG services at Kidwell. My experience - this was the most honest, comprehensive, and reliable service I could ask for. Kidwell went above and beyond to source the parts for my vehicle and the labor was by far the most affordable I could have gotten and have gotten for this vehicle. You can take your vehicle to Kidwell with confidence. They work on EVERYTHING from domestic to import to old school. Thank you, guys!
