I came in with a coolant leak which was an obvious heater core issue. Upon arrival I requested that a technician come out to truck an give an assessment. He agreed it was a heater core issue. I explained the truck never ran hot. I was told I would be charged an hr diagnostic. Also I would be contacted by noon the next day with cost of repairs 4 to 6 hrs labor at 200 per hr. When I didn't hear anything I called in today around noon. Was told someone would contact me with pricing shortly. I received a quote for 1890.00 to replace a heater core on a 2020 T680 KW. They informed me it would be 6 hrs of labor. I called in to inquire about why is it 6 hrs for a plug and play part. They employee said because they did a test drive. I tracked my truck it never moved off lot. They resent quote and took 130 dollars off. I ended up just going pick up my truck I paid 200 diagnostic fee. 436 for part and 370 to a mobile mechanic. Who replaced the heater core in 25 minutes outside the gate at kenworth without loosing a half gallon of coolant. Kenworth west indianapolis said my truck would not be ready until Wednesday evening. This has to stop. Shame on you kentworth west indianapolis. I am a owner operator. I felt like your actions should be a crime. Shame on you. You should be able to trust the kentworth name. Stay away if possible they are vampires.

I should have given 0 star, if it was available.My truck was there 4 weeks ago for repair.They fixed it and after less than 500 miles problem resurfaced. Took it back to them and waiting for more than two and half weeks, they told me to wait for another week to just get into the shop. It s the same damn problem and it should be diagnosed first in the line. Will speak to Kenworth and let them know. Avoid them if you can

I do not recommend these people. They took almost 3 weeks to fix my truck. Then when I went to pick it up the girl at the counter, her face would probably break if she smiled then when I called back to find out where the empty trailer might be the guy was so rude, I hope I never have to deal with them again

The guy writing the service ticket couldn t be any less interested in writing down the fault codes I was getting. Since he didn t write down any of the fault codes, none of them showed up when they plugged their computer in, so they fixed something that had nothing to do with the fault codes I was getting. Needless to say after getting down the road, I m stuck with the same issue that never got repaired.

These guys will definitely do their best. They get pretty busy, but it s because they re a very good shop. These guys are open 24hrs and that s a huge plus. They kept me posted throughout the wait and repairs of my 660 and I m grateful they got me back on the road in a timely manner.

Great quality parts and parts clerk was friendly and knowledgeable. But, they called me 2 days in a row for me to pick the part up I ordered. I already picked it up 2 days prior, lol

My truck has engine derate warning sign. I went to this dealership. Guy hooked computer and told me that exhaust gas pressure sensor faulty . I dropped truck at dealership. Meantime I requested them to clean DPF filters. After 12 days I got a call that sensor has been replaced and my truck is ready good to go. I drove 350 miles then engine derate warning appeared again. I went to dealership again then guy said me to drop truck. After 11 days I got call that truck is good to go. I drove around 500 miles then again same warning appeared. I took truck again to this dealership and dropped for 3-4 days. I just drove 15 miles warning sign appeared again. I took my truck 5 time to this dealership and spent almost 7500$ but problem is still there.Sensor for 164$ and another part for 72 $ and 1400$ hundred for DPF filters cleaning and rest amount for labor only. 1 and half month work loss. Problem is still there. No body is serious for it. Many time engine derate label 1 is completed.No body is serious. I m unhappy. Worse service. Unprofessional mechanic.

Had an issue fixed at Ft Wayne Kenworth,left there after it was fixed got as far as Indianapolis same problem popped backup,the kw house sent a mobile mechanic out of course by the time he got where I was at the check engine went out big shoutout to west indy kw for helping me out

This shop and truck repair place is honest and hardworking. Despite the issues, they were willing to stay true to their guarantee and do the job properly. I appreciate the warm welcoming and honesty from Bill. He is a great representation of what this truck company needs and was very reassuring that our truck was going to be fixed and done properly! Even though it did take a few times (that clutch, ) our company truck is running like a champ!!!! I would recommend them to everyone!!!! Even the manager is a man of his words, I thank him again for being honest and making the situation right! We live 3 hours away and have a Kenworth in Michigan, I would chose the Indianapolis location first because of the great customer service and work ethics. Thank you again, my driver is safe because of you all. .Goan Transport .

Excellent road Service, Mr Tom Maloney, Service Manger for Road calls in my experience is one of the best persons that I have come across. A man who understands the pain of somebody whose truck has broken downon the road. Very caring a person who enjoys helping people. I will recommend to all if u are in need of help you can count on Mr. Tom Maloney. God Bless him.

One of the best Kenworth dealerships in the country to get service done. The staff are kind, helpful, friendly, and honest.I came in on a hot load needing something diagnosed and taken care of quickly.I really liked Bill at the service writer desk, first of all he has awesome hair that I can only hope I'll have when I get to be his age, second of all he demonstrated a class act on professional customer service. He was patient, polite, understanding, and thorough. He definitely made me feel welcome.The foreman, Dillan, made time for me despite being busy and gave me his honest opinion on options for repairs. I'm an owner operator, and it was refreshing to have someone not try to hose me or upsell me on fake problems that didn't exist in my truck. He was direct, thoughtful, and on point. He even looked over some other concerns I had free of charge.The team exceeded my expectations and were able to get me fixed up and back on the road faster than I anticipated.I was happy, my team was happy, I would go out of my way to get service here.

had a small job done on my old 1980 Kenworth k100c .great people to deal with .nothing was too much trouble .highly recommended for quality service .thanks again .work done in 2008 but haven't forgot the service recived.

Was just recently at this location for a truck repair, the staff was pleasant to work with but one person stood out above them all and that was Bill Mason. He took the time to explain the issues I was having and was able to put my mind at ease, KW West Indy has a gemstone with this man I now consider Bill a true friend.

Spoke to Kyle in the morning about repair and service. He is fantastic, did exactly what he said he would. Replacement windshield is out sourced to a third party. Appointment was 1030 to 1100, which turned into 1200 to 100. Windshield installed out in parking lot, I know this because of a huge piece of weather stripping laying next to truck . Windshield was not clean, suction cup ring and marks all inside and outside of glass. That's not the worst thing though, glass and seal shavings all over dash board and inside truck. Glass and seal shavings in drip pan in engine compartment. I brought to service advisor attention and she ess kind enough to come out and see with her own eyes and take some pictures. We will see what comes off it. Stay tuned to see if any updates become available. Absolutely no quality inspection done by dealer to make sure it meets their standards. I hope that will change so that no other customers have to deal with the same disappointment I did. I only give this detailed review, so dealer management can do a better job picking the business they partner with.

Very friendly, it is nice to talk with the shop about my truck issues without being dismissed and treated like a stupid truck driver. They actually listen to their customers here! 10 out of 10 would recommend!!

JJ the PTO specialist bailed me out again. He is the go to person when it comes to PTO parts and issue's. He comes through everytime with a solution and part's very quickly.

Great shop we do go here alot but this time they handle the shifter stalk and the our injector fault really well thansk to Bill from service and defenlty recommended

Excellent service diagnosed and repairs completed faster than estimated and at a reasonable rate. Thanks, I will continue to use your service shop.8/20 dropped truck off 8/21 truck ready for pick up. Had oil changed all new drums and pass all new shocks and coolant reservoir replaced and check engine light trouble shot. Quick turn around and helpful friendly service.

If having your vehicle serviced, be prepared to nag them for information. Had a repair done a month ago and they were waiting on approval from me, but didn t reach out to get that approval. I had to call them. I was given an estimate. I had to follow up to find out that it was finished . The bill was $900 more.Now the truck is back in the shop. Same symptoms but different problem. I have to call or better yet physically show up to get any status update. It s been a week. I went in for the estimate and they did not give me the detail of what the charges were. The service manager will call you . Yeah, I m sure that will happen.I ll update the review if I hear from him. I plan on sitting in their building until I can get some information on my truck that is basically hostage in the shop.

I was very disappointed in the level of service. Twice now our company truck has has a mechanical issue after bringing it in for its PM. Things that should have been checked were rushed and forgotten. And it cost us even more money in the long run. We will be looking for another place to ha e our trucks serviced.

Pleasant experience! But, as all large truck service centers are these days don't expect to get in and out quickly. You are basically first come first serviced. Even tho I only needed to update the computer software I spent two days and nights waiting.

My husband arrived at 900am this morning they hooked the truck up to do a diagnostic test. He was given the code, and told his truck would be next. Finally they pulled the truck in, it sat for two hours untouched, almost 5pm he was told they needed to do a diagnostic on the truck and he needed to get a hotel room because they could not complete it today. He explained they had already done the diagnostic and the response was oh well they didn t tell me.. he had to leave without getting a repair. Very poor service, I would recommend you stay away...

Lot slower than I liked for the little repair it was but that's because they're way too busy need more people and another shop, time to grow guys.
