Honest prices good mechanics Christian values John has been my family mechanic for more than a decade i trust him implicitly and know hes not going to price gouge or rip me off. I took my old car up there it was dented and rusted and broke down John brought it back to life so i can give it to my daughter as her first vehicle repairs, paint, bodywork its nothing automotive John cant do!!!

I have been taking my cars to John for several years now, and I am always 100% confident in his work and his word. He gives very fair pricing and always does an excellent job! Very professional as we conversed over the phone. I had my vehicle towed so my first time pulling up i couldn't do nothing but smile because my vehicle was safe and secured. Facility nice and clean. Mr. John has definitely won me over , If I have any car problems i won't think second about who I'm calling! If you want your vehicle done right call John Automotive!!!

Everything was fine until i got my SUV back after 3 months of waiting. Never heard back from the place. On top of that, they carelessly stored my vehicle. Someone at some point backed into or someone hit another vehicle with my suv. And nobody had anything to say about it, nor cared. It was a pleasure to give my business to John's Automotive. John and his team went above and beyond to make sure my vehicle was good to go. They even came in on the weekend (outside of normal business hours) to complete my vehicle because I was in a time crunch and needed my vehicle done soon. Recently moved to Indy from Fort Wayne and I needed a trusted mechanic with reasonable prices. I called Mr. John after seeing his reviews and I can see exactly why he's highly rated. Mr. John repaired my Cam Shafter position sensors and even gave me a FREE COMPLIMENTARY oil change. Forever will be my go-to mechanics. Thanks Mr. John and Staff.

We love this business. John and his team are exceptional. Other reviewers are correct in their assessments. John is the most honest mechanic I've met since owning a car. He's the only mechanic to ever recommend that we not spend money needlessly until we absolutely are required to do so, unless it's cheaper to solve the problem in the present rather than in the future. We trust John and his team completely. Finally, we support this business because John treats his employees with respect. I sure wish most companies and small business operated like John's Automotive.

If I could give this guy 18 stars I would! I took my car in after an accident. He had to replace my entire front bumper and he did a fantastic job! I then took it back to him a week later because I was having a separate issue with my power steering and he fixed it for free! John is simply the best!

I took my car to someone who did very shoddy work and left me with more problems than i started with . I then took my car to Mr. John and he took care of me the same day. The work the other "mechanic" did was so bad Mr John wouldn't let me drive my car off of his lot and it was completed by the time I got off work. Very honest and trustworthy !

I had my truck towed there after it wouldn't start. When they told me it was the starter wire I assumed it would be a inexpensive fix. I was wrong! John quoted me $250-$300 for labor. I refused and had it towed all the way to B.G. Auto on Franklin and 38th(closer to home) Bob replaced the starter wire for $60! I went to John's because the reviews were good but I didn't get to experience the good service OR energy.

John and his crew saved the day! We traveled to Indy from TX for our son to go to college. A brake caliper sleeve holding the bolt in place was damaged and the assembly had to be replaced. In this day and age paying through the nose for dealership repairs, it is a breath of fresh air to meet someone like John and his crew. He s a fair and honest responsibly priced. The kind of guy who seals a deal with a sincere handshake while looking you in the eye.I told John my problem while walking to the car. He guessed the root cause of my problems before opening the hood. 10 seconds after I popped the hood, he confirmed his guess and showed me right where the problem was. I was broke down on the road from Sedalia, Missouri. In a few hours, I was back on the road.

Had work done here he saw a woman with Tennessee tags and charged me more than a Indiana resident I was overcharged for a motor in my 2001 Jimmy truck to the tune of 2000$ that was in 9-16 ,here it is 4-18and now the timing belt is broken again!! So that tells me he didn't set the timing on the rebuilt motor when it was installed , I was also charged 225$ for a distributor man he really busted my head.If you go there make sure to get a second opinion

We have three older cars in our family and he keeps them running. He is very honest and reasonably priced. There can be a wait because he is usb, but it is worth the wait!

I highly recommend John's Automotive! Mr. John is honest and extremely professional. Mr. John got me back up and running extremely fast and he didn't overcharge me. Mr. John is authentic and a rarity in this day and age. Thank you Mr. John!

He made me feel as tho i was bothering him. He didnt put my car on diagnostic just "listened" to it and basically said he was not going to fix it left me no choice. Will never go back there again. He just gave me any answer and didnt even asked what i wanted to do. Never ever again!

Great place to bring your vehicle.. Honest and prices are more reasonable than other places.John even calls to check his work after the repair..Most shops don't do that..I finally found a mechanic I can trust my vehicles with..Thank you John ..
