If I could give ZERO STARS, I WOULD. This place tosses you to a looping message, the guy in the phone DOESN'T LISTEN, despite constantly repeating the parts request. The machine hangs up on you. The lady gives wrong directions to the place, doesn't know if they are north or south of Washington, completely ignorant, refused to apologize. People who work there have no respect for your time and are completely incompetent and rude. I even had parts puller try and provoke a violent encounter with me once years ago. Last place to ever go to. Period.

Years ago this place was great. Unfortunately after the new ownership this place has gone downhill DRASTICALLY. Extremely poor customer service and high prices. Many times I can find the part I need for the same price if not less on Ebay or similar vendors, direct shipped to my house.Response to owner: This review is most definitely for the right company. I noticed that you deleted my other review I left a while back so felt the need to post again. It's a shame what you turned this place into.

Absolutely worst place I've ever been if the 20 plus junk yards I've ever been. They pulled the wrong part and wouldn't refund my money and didn't have a replacement part either. Same thing happened to the customer before me and after me. It feels like a scam and definitely bad for business. On 6-22-21 (7 days later) I've tried contacting AJ like mentioned in the post by leaving 2 voice-mails and calling front desk numerous times and I'm getting nothing. I wanted to just talk about what can be done in the future to confirm the customer is getting the correct part or that indeed they asked for the wrong part. And by the way the person before me left before me, I don't like being called a liar. I confirmed 3 different times on the year of the vehicle. 1st asking if you had the parts, 2nd calling back confirming I wanted the parts, and 3rd showing up for the parts to be pulled. I didn't ask for the manager because the guy behind the counter gave me the impression he was when telling the other aggravated employee to take a walk and calm down. I still should've asked for a manager you're right about that part only. When you want to talk over the phone it's in the 2 voice-mails I left you

This place is recently under new ownership.. the guy running the desk and answering the phone is in the process of destroying this business.. he seems to have zero knowledge of cars.. zero customer service skills.. when you have a problem he just hangs up on you and lies about it. The new owner is too cheap to pay insurance for customers to go out and look for their parts or pull their own parts. Finally Indianapolis has a salvage yard worse than two little bee's.. don't waste your time with this place..

A1 place that WILL take care of you TRUTHFULLY! Staff was super helpful and friendly! Jimmy is the BEST hands down, he got me right and explained everything to me that he did. I found a mechanic for life and I found a parts place for life!! Shop with them, it WON'T be a disappointment that's forsure. Thank you guys! You saved me from a great amount of stress and money!!! Luv!

I can literrally attest to the reviews before me. I just called and the kindest guy answered my question...said there WAS a part and needed to transfer me to that dept for pricing/pulling. 8mins later...still holding so i just hung up!ID PROBABLY TRY ELSEWHERE BECAUSE THIS IS WHAT EVERY REVIEW BEFORE ME STATED!!!!I will never waste my time with this company againwednesday, march 16, 2022 @10:20am

I am always impressed with the friendliness of the staff. Their prices are super low and I will continue to shop with them whenever I need parts. I have had to get parts for 2 different cars and they were very helpful and make you feel like family when you are there. I highly recommend them!

Guy answered phone told me they had the part I needed and put me on hold for pricing. After 11 minutes someone picks up and then hangs up on me. I called right back and was told the same thing to hold for pricing. This time was on hold 18 minutes before someone hung up again.Ridiculous customer service

Don't let the pictures fool You!The QUALITY of SERVICE, and the STAFF, is TERRIFIC! Love the staff!THIS salvage yard has very good quality parts. They will pull the parts for you, and sell to you at a very great price.The more you buy, the better the bulk rate is during purchase.Get a great deal with this Company.They have a very wide selection from newer vehicles all the way to older vehicles.Better get in there, and get your great deal now!

They work hard ans fast to get you the part you need. Jamie knows her cars and trucks better than anyone I've ever met, the guys pulling parts all know what they're doing. Great place and even better prices. Stop by here before you go anywhere else.

Great people and great prices. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly and they really know their stuff. Always busy and they have a high turnover and new cars in all the time. My go to place for any part I need.

My 15 year old Jeep finally bit the dust at the most inopportune time. This company was able to tow my car same day, was extremely helpful and curtious, and paid me cash on the spot. This was the second company I called and I'm so glad I did. It was nice that they just took care of everything. Highly recommend.

Indy West Auto went above and beyond to help me find a transmission bolt. No luck that day however the sheer effort they went to trying to help me made all of the difference. A great salvage yard that is a fun place to visit when you're looking for salvaged parts. I did find a couple other parts I could use which wasn't hard at that yard compared to another I went to just previously that didn't sell solenoids. They sell it all!The people are really great and dont mind questions! Jamie went the extra mile to print transmission sheets for my truck and really made me feel like a valued customer as well as all her staff did. Constant foot traffic since I arrived last Saturday which says a lot about a yard that is in the vicinity of a couple of others. Actually when I left and was cleaning off my boots a guy from one of the other yards told me to come there next time. I will return to Indy West as they treat a customer right and stand out for customer service as well as friendliness! I highly recommend visiting Indy West for all of your salvage part needs!

Since moving to the West side I have had to gets parts for my car, and I ran across Westside and decided to go there and this young sweet woman name Jamie just welcomed me and got the part I needed, and when I apply the part on my car it works and even better than the before. I am sold on WESTSIDE and the time you wait is short and the prices are affordable and I really appreciate their location and their service is NO.1 I AM SOLD OUT TO THE BEST SERVICE AND AUTO PARTS FOR ANY CAR, for that I am GRATEFUL.

I had wrecked my car. I had gotten advice from alot of my friends to buy used parts. I called many places, every where treated me like I had no idea what I was talking about. Big T's were very rude and so was Two Little Bees.But when i called Indy-Westside they helped me figure out what style bumper my car had on it and everything. I had no idea what to expect when I got there but I had paid in advance and they had my parts ready for me when I got there! and they even where able to match up my paint color. I don't think i will ever go anywhere else. And if your new to buying used parts this is definitely the place to go. They are very helpful and they will make sure you have your parts!

I was on the hunt for an electronic module for my truck, and Indy Westside was the only junkyard in the central Indiana area that could find it. They contacted a yard in Greensburg, had it pulled, and shipped straight to the dealership to have it installed. Amazing customer service, as well as a super quick turnaround time. On top of that, the price they quoted was only 1/5th the cost of a brand new part from the dealer. You can t beat that!!

My 2008 car was in a wreck, and was towed to AutoReturn (basically police impound) and unfortunately insurance did not cover it. Since the air bags had deployed and the damage was too much for me to afford, I looked all over town for options as to what I could do to get something from the situation. I saw the great reviews of Indy-Westside auto and decided to give it a shot, despite most reviews stating they were buying parts.First time I called it was busy but immediately called again and they answered. The girl who spoke with me was extremely polite (which was welcome because every step of this car "junking" process was a nightmare otherwise). She asked about my car and I told her the make and model and she told me exactly how much I was going to get for it.The entire process was super easy, we set an appointment when to meet at AutoReturn, told me that all I needed to do was bring my license and my title. The driver (Jared) arrived at our scheduled time and gave me a call right away upon arriving. He was extremely polite as well and gave me the cash and did everything as the girl described. He towed the car, gave me the cash, and that was it. Hassle free from Indy-Westside Auto's end... Thank goodness.While I wish I could have been giving a review under better circumstances, Indy-Westside Auto gave me the best price out of the 15 different places I called. Not only this, but they were the most helpful and understanding to someone who had never done this before. The phone call and setup took less than 5 minutes.I hope I never have to be in this situation again but if it does, Indy-Westside Auto Parts is the first place I'm going to call, and I recommend them to anyone else who is in the same situation and left in the dust by their insurance company.

GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY TOOL SPECIAL CARE TO HELP US WITH THE PART WE NEEDED WHICH SAVED US MONEY AND EXTRA LABOR. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS. THESE ARE TOP QUALITY PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE.DENNIS OATLEY.

Was told I had a part on hold for two weeks only to find out nobody up there knows what they are doing for and my paid deposit for a part that I was told was on hold was really not the entire time
