I've known of Hobbs for many years and researched intently before I took my truck to them. They gave me an accurate estimate and was done before they said they would be.After test driving I was impressed at the mechanics ability to fix my many issues ! Would recommend to anyone in Indiana!

Recently moved to Indy and needed my Nissan Titan repaired. A relative recommended Hobbs. I am so glad I went there! I was provided with fast accurate service and my truck was ready the same day.

My suv was leaking antifreeze so I took it to Hobbs to get it looked at. They inspected it and confirmed it was the water pump which I had suspected. Other work was needed and I gave them the go ahead to fix it, about 8 hrs. Paid for it ahead of time and told them to leave it outside and I ll pick it up. No more leaks and it s running fine. Customer service was great. If I ever need repairs done in the future I ll be taking it to Hobbs. Highly recommended!

Dave did an excellent job on the underbody of my 2005 Dodge Magnum R/T and kept me informed throughout the extensive repair process. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Great place to do business.

I had Hobbs install a new transmission in my motorhome. When I picked it up I could tell something wasn't right (a totally different issue than the transmission) so I called Hobbs and explained my concern. I was told to bring the motorhome back up and they'd take a look at it. It was a small hard to find wiring issue. Hobbs didn't only fix the "new" problem but didn't charge me anything for the repair. I would definitely recommend Hobbs Automotive to my family and friends

The guys here at Hobbs are GREAT. I was having trouble with my car and when they checked it, the place that had done my oil change used the wrong kind of oil. They have worked with me helped me to get my car taken care of. Now they are the only ones that do my oil change and work on my car.Thanks guys

I have a fleet of vehicles and I bring them all to Hobbs for maintenance and large repairs. They are always quick and the prices are fair. Great service and great communication!

They would not work on my. 2022 f150. Leveling kit. Super easy job. Just pull.out front 2 struts and put 2 inch spacer's in. And do a front end alignment. You would think they would do it being easy and a newer vertical no rusted bolts and person with cash in hand. They can not do a easy job likeThat . I would not trust them to do any thing else. I told all my friends and family. I do not recommend them for anything.

Very dependable. Let you know exactly what's going on with your vehicle. Plus having your vehicle fixed right and back in a timely manner is 5 star in my book. I brought my car in for general maintenance, they were able to get me in on the next business day and they called me within a couple hours with their findings. They were honest and told me that the cost of the repairs I needed were going to be more than the car was worth. They didn t even charge me for looking at it. Overall very appreciative for their knowledge and honesty.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Auto maintenance

Top Notch Auto & Body ShopI had front end body damage including front bumper, hood, condenser, and radiator, they did SUPER work the car looks great!!!They even cleaned off the oil on my engine, a company that goes above and beyond what is expected. Hobbs was great! I will definitely be back if ever needed. I recently took my car here for multiple notifications that popped up every time I started my car. I had already taken it to the dealership, who couldn t identify the issue or fix it. I tried to get to Hobbs as close to their opening time as possible. They got me right in and let me know they would be in touch with updates so I could plan my day accordingly. They called 3-4 times with updates, identified the issue, and was able to fix it same day! They were also very transparent about cost and careful to run cost by me before taking next steps, which I appreciated. Polite, helpful and more than competent!Services: Auto maintenance, Battery

I have a car that I had a lot of problems with , many things were broke and didn't work. I was so discouraged with it. My son told me that he takes all his trucks and cars to Hobbs Automotive on S. Post Rd.and said " If you take it to Hobbs it's gonna run. I didn't even want to spend any more money on it. I went ahead and took it to Hobbs thinking to myself, I have a piece of junk here and left it. When I got it back it was running good ,sounded good, looked good and I thought to myself this is a pretty nice car, yes I think I will keep it for a while. Hobbs is truly The Best One in Indy. Hobbs is MY auto mechanic shop since moving to Indy in 2001. I moved to the west side in 2016 and I STILL (2023) drive over to the east side to Hobbs. They are 5/5 in my book!

Hobbs did an outstanding paint job on front bumper and grill of my 4-Runner. As always, I continue to experience quality service, good fair prices, excellent and honest professionalism from front desk and mechanics. Hobbs services both my vehicles in timely manner. When I stop in with out an appointment, they quickly get me back on the road. Excellent customer service and car care advice. I have been a highly satisfied customer since 2011. I asked them to test my ABS unit on my brakes because I was having problems with them, they did everything except test my ABS unit.They tried to sell me a rack and pinion steering unit because mine was leaking but I knew better because there's never been any leaks on my clean garage floor whatsoever and I've never added fluid to the power steering unit.They wanted $705.98 to repair something that I didn't need.They also told me I needed a new master cylinder for the brakes, that turned out to be untrue, there was nothing wrong with the master cylinder at all because when I put on a new one it didn't cure anything but I had to try it.It turned out that there was an airlock in my ABS unit, the same one I asked them to test.I finally found a shop that could test my ABS unit with a scanner and bleed the system using the scanner to work the valves The brakes are now working like they should.No, I'll never go back to Hobbs automotive for anything.

I needed paint and bumper repair after backing into my sons car. The staff world class staff and owner are extremely friendly, professional, and kind. I was given a fair quote for my repair within minutes. My car was ready at the time they specified when I dropped it off. My car looks BRAND NEW! Hobbs attention to detail is second to none! They went ABOVE and BEYOND as they detailed my car and buffed my headlights for no extra charge. When I picked it up my car was waiting for me and heated when I got in. I am so grateful to find a new trustworthy mechanic to take my car to! I highly recommend Hobbs for all your car needs!Services: Painting, Body & Trim, Auto detailing, Auto interior vacuuming

These people found the solution to my unknown leak and on top of that they found a really big problem with my engine connector and also fixed that up. Will go again next time I have a problem, so hopefully never

I have taken my cars to Hobbs for decades after a recommendation from a trusted colleague. I gladly share my own recommendation with anyone who is looking for auto repair service. I don't routinely offer recommendations, but i do so here for Hobbs without reservation.Although i had general maintenance done dyring this encounter, I can vouch for their excellent service regarding doagnostic, drive train, steering, braking, engine cooling, A/C and wiper motor work.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic
